From our previous posts, I know I have been
rumbling on about how high profile the casting on Ikaw Lamang is, so today I will help jog your memory so that you
guys can also know where else you have seen these amazing guys. (Sitaki mwende mkijiaibisha kudai ati oh…
Alikua hii kipindi… Na kumbe ata si yeye!!! The number of times I have overheard
such conversations always has me cringing…)
1.
Kim Chiu as Isabel
We first saw Kim Chiu when she was quite
young on Sana Maulit Muli (Chances),
then on Tayong Dalawa (The Two of Us, where she was together with
her co-stars Coco Martin, Jake Cuenca
and Cherry Pie Picache , where she
played Audrey). If that is too far back for you guys to remember, we just
recently watched Ina Kapatid Anak(Her Mother’s Daughter where she portrayed
Celine’s character, with Cherry Pie
as her Mother.)
2.
Coco Martin as Samuel
We first saw our male star Coco Martin in Tayong Dalawa; The Two of Us where he played Ramon,
JR’s brother. He then gave life to Daniel in Walang Hanggan (My Eternal, alongside his other co-star Julia Montes.)
3. Julia Montes as Mona
Julia was very young when we saw her
portrayal of the mean girl Clara in
the highly acclaimed show Mara Clara!
The most recent show we saw of her was the one I just mentioned where she
played the humble girl Katerina in Walang Hanggan alongside Coco
Martin.

Jake Cuenca as Franco
We have seen a lot of Jake Cuenca albeit in
most shows that many can barely remember! He appeared in Sana Maulit Muli(Chances),
then on Tayong Dalawa(The two of us); both shows alongside Kim Chiu. His most memorable of course
was the latter where he played Dave,
a very ummm… determined fellow!

Cherry Pie Picacheas Elena
If you don’t remember her from somewhere,
you clearly are not a fan. This lady has been appearing in almost all high
profile shows from Sana ‘Y Wala Nang
Wakas (Love is Timeless), Lisa Pa Lamang(Only You) both of which I dare anyone
to remember since I bet only I can… But her most recent and memorable shows are
Tayong Dalawa(The Two of us) where she played
Ramon and JR’s mother alongside Kim,
Coco and Jake. The other was Ina Kapatid Anak(Her Mother’s Daughter) where she played Theresa, Celine’s mother alongside Kim Chiu.
6.
John Estrada as Gonzalo
The first we saw of John Estrada was long
ago when he portrayed Boris in Kaytagal Kang Hinintay (The Long Wait.) I hope you guys can
remember the swagger with the hair and sun glasses…The guy could pull that look
off!! He also appeared in Hiram as Edward and Dahil May Isang Ikaw
(Destined Hearts) as Daniel.
7. Angel Aquino as Rebecca
Who remembers Magkaribal? This is the only show we have watched crediting Angel Aquino as the very feisty Vera Cruz… The show aired on NTV Kenya a
few years back, telling a story about the very dramatic life of the Filipino
fashion world.
8.
Cherie Gil as Miranda
Cherie Gil was on
Legacy, a show about 3 siblings all from the same father, different mothers;
each determined to inherit their grandfather’s company. Gil played a very ruthless and cruel woman; Eva,Nicole’s mother; one
of the 3 siblings.
There you have
it! I hope you guys can now agree with me that this is quite a cast we have the
pleasure of watching and all in one show!!! Is your memory at a better state or
