The Star Magic Ball 2017 went down on the 30th of September at the Makati Shangri-La. This year's ball was the 11th ball as Star Magic celebrates 25 years of managing some of the biggest acts in Filipino entertainment.
Star Magic is the management arm of ABSCBN and they manage most of the artists for the leading media group. The Star Magic Ball is held annually to give Star Magic artists and top corporates a glamorous night where they can unwind and have fun together. This event only features artists managed by Star Magic which is why artists like
James Reid, Nadine Lustre (
Managed by VAA) and
Julia Montes (
Managed by Cornerstone) could not attend.
This year's ball however featured Kapuso artists who were able to received special invitations to the event. This included
Beautiful Strangers star
Heart Evengelista who was accompanied by husband Chiz Escudero,
My Faithful Husband Star
Mikael Daez and girlfriend
Megan Young.
Kristine Hermosa who has been MIA in the showbiz scene also graced the ball with Husband
Oyo Boy Sotto.
