THE PROMISE Episode 43

We started with Claudia seeing the picture of Angelo and Bea Bianca off the internet. 

She was happy to learn that it was taken during the week because showed that Angelo was not serious about her after all.

The chief of police from the NBI went to give Eduardo the final update about the man who had paid for his assassination attempt. He said that they subpoenaed the bank to give them the name of the person who deposited the money and it was David Powers! Eduardo was taken aback when he heard this and the chief asked him if he knew the person. Eduardo denied knowing any David powers. After the chief of police left, Eduardo asked for Mark and told him to tell David to see him immediately.

David was in his car feeling guilty because he really was the one who planned for the assassination attempt on Eduardo and even let the sniper escape.

Yna left Bea Bianca’s house upset because she was not able to get anything from her. Takong apologized to Yna for telling her to talk to Bea Bianca first because they should have just gone to Angelo.

Amor went to see Claudia at her offce and invited her out for coffee. Claudia was suspicious of Amor so she said that they should go to Buena Mall because she did not want to go far. When they went to the mall, Claudia had her body guards follow her close by and she asked Amor not to bother with them because they had to be with her. Amor said she had security too but they lurked around such that no one knew who they were.

Betty May got bored at Amor’s house so she asked Lourdes who was detained there to go with her. Lourdes knows nothing of Amor’s plans and innocently asked Lourdes to accompany her. Roma Christy tried to stop them but Betty May shut her off and said she would not be stopped from going out. Roma Christy therefore had the two of them followed.

David went to see Yna and told her that he wanted to say goodbye to her since he would be leaving for America. Angelo found them talking and David tried to explain that he was just saying goodbye to Yna.  Angelo told David not to bother Yna because the person he needed to explain things to was his father.

Yna was upset with Angelo because of the issue with Bea Bianca and she left after saying goodbye to David. Angelo followed her and told her that he did not like David because he seemed to be hiding something. Yna asked Angelo if he was the one hiding something and he was puzzled as he asked her what it was. Yna told him about his kiss with Bea Bianca but he said that he did no such thing. Yna was upset when Angelo denied knowing everything while the picture was all over the internet. Angelo explained that he had forgotten about it and that it was Bea Bianca who kissed him because she was happy that he would help her with his commercial. Yna asked him why he had not told her about it and Angelo said that it was because he did not want to burden her with more problems.

Angelo then took Yna to Bea Bianca’s house and demanded that Bea Bianca tell Yna about the truth. Bea Bianca hesitated but she finally admitted that she used Angelo to gain publicity so that she could get the commercial job. Angelo got angry and told Bea Bianca that he would no longer help her because she was messing with his relationship then left with Yna.

Amor and Claudia went to have coffee at Buena Mart and Claudia dared Amor to tell her if she was still in love with Eduardo. Amor said she was she was not but added that it seemed like Eduardo was still in love with her. Claudia then asked Amor why she had returned to the Philippines. Amor talked about how she wanted to make them pay for hurting her and it was fun to see them all fuss over her because of her money but she laughed it off and said that she could not waste all her money for petty revenge since she had already gotten over everything. She said that she returned to the Philippines to try and help other people and asked Claudia to stop worrying.

After confronting Bea Bianca, Angelo took Yna away to a hotel to spend time with her but got them separate rooms. He also called Isko to tell him that he was with Yna and would bring her home the following day. He asked him not to worry because he respected Yna.

Mark called David and asked him to go back to the office because Eduardo was mad at him. When David went to see Eduardo, Eduardo beat him up for betraying him after he had treated him like his son. David told Eduardo that he considered him the father he never had adding that he had did not intend to harm him. Eduardo had already called the police and he asked David why he had betrayed him to Amor. David said that it was because Amor was his mother. He told Eduardo that Amor needed him because she was destroying herself. Eduardo sent the police away when they arrived to arrest David and he talked to David about Amor and the plans she had for him.

When Betty Mae took Lourdes to the mall, Lourdes said she needed to go to the rest room but her plan was to escape. She escaped the guards but she ended up running into Claudia who had already separated from Amor and she took hold of her. That was where we ended…
