We started with David and Fernanda’s
exam results and she had failed. Fernanda was there as well and she told David
that she had tried her best but was nervous while taking the exam.
David did
was not u to the excuses that Fernanda gave and became furious. He told her that she was grounded and was no
longer allowed to see Tano. Fernanda became frantic and the shouting got
Graciela’s attention. Graciela went to see what was happening and David showed
her Fernanda’s results. She agreed that Fernanda did not do well but asked
David to calm down because she could always retake the exam. Fernanda got
really nervous so David asked Fernanda to call the psychiatrist.
When the psychiatrist arrived, he
told David that he had warned him before about Fernanda’s condition worsening
and she could try to commit suicide again. He then gave Fernanda a sedative to
make her calm down and sleep.
Juan and Perla welcomed Carito back
and they told her that she had to go
back to David’s vineyard so that she everything would seem normal and she would
not be suspected for having done anything wrong. Since Juan had promised Carito
a job, he told her that she had to wait for a while but in the meantime, she
had to report to him about what happened in David’s vineyard. Carito was
skeptical about it and she did not understand why she had to do such a thing
but she agreed to do it. Juan and Perla also assured her that they were no
longer involved in the immigration business and that Mark was far away so she
had no reason to be scared of him.
It was the day of the wine
competition later that evening but David told Luciana that he could not go
because he had to take care of Fernanda. Graciela also cancelled her art
exhibit to stay with Fernanda while Lilian called Brian and told him that she
could not accompany him to the wine competition she wanted to take care of
Fernanda.
Susan and Ramon accompanied Luciana
to the wine competition and they greeted Miguel happily who was there with
Ericka an Adolfo representing their vineyard as well. Mark was there with Perla
and tried to annoy them but they all told him to go away since he wanted to make them turn on each other but they did
not have the time for it.
During the competition, Luciana
presented for David’s vineyard while Ericka presented for their vineyard. After
the judges deliberated, Ericka’s wine got first place while Luciana’s wine got
third place. Luciana was so disappointed, she did not even call David to tell
him that they did not get first place.
Juan went to laugh at Luciana for
losing first place but Juan defended her and told Juan to go away. Ericka saw
this and Juan tried to make her feel jealous but no one was falling for his
tricks. Ericka told Juan that she trusted him and knew he would defend any
other person so it was not because Luciana was being harassed.
Ericka felt a little ill and asked
that they go home to celebrate there. When Miguel went to get the car, she
stumbled a little so Luciana and Susan went to help her. Ericka rested for a
while and thanked them for their help. She also asked them not to tell Miguel
anything since she would feel better soon.
When Luciana got home and told
David the sad news, he was furious! He told her that he had not been giving
enough attention to the children to prepare for the wine competition only to
get third place. The good thing was that in third, they had proceeded to the
next round and would try to give a better presentation on the next round.
Luciana assured David that she did her best and David trusted that she did but
he decided then that it was time he takes charge of everything; his children
and the vineyard which meant that he did not have time for anything else. He
told Lucian that it would not be fair to ask her to wait for him since even
after he was done helping Fernanda with her troubles, she still would not like
him being with Luciana. Luciana agreed with him since they had been fighting a
lot so they decided to let go of their relationship.
Carito got back to the servant’s
quarter and although everyone seemed happy to see her, she still looked
troubled.
Susan went to have dinner with
Cesar and when she was there, Brian called her to tell her that they had found
out who had poisoned the wine; it was Mark. Brian asked her to go with David to
his office the following day so that they could talk about it.
When Susan went to get David the
following morning, she saw Carito who revealed that she wanted to file charges
against Mark because he had raped her!
We ended as Graciela revealed to
Fernanda that she was in love with David…
