We started with Leah arriving home and she found Clark was
already asleep. She touched his arm and thanked him for helping her out in
America.
Clark made breakfast
for Leah the following morning. He said that he wanted to do it because Leah
always cooked for them. As they were having breakfast, Leah gave Clark her
share of the money for the rent. He wanted to give some of it back but Leah
asked him to keep it because they already had a deal. They also talked about
their immigration interviews because they had intimacy issues that the
immigration officer had pointed out. Clark asked Leah not to pretend that she
loved him but to believe it and that Clark loved her too. He asked her to
imagine him as the person she loved.
Later, Leah went to look for her mother’s death certificate
at the registry but the officer in charge told her that it was not available. Leah
left the office disturbed by the outcome and walked around aimlessly without
knowing where she was headed.
Clark ran into a guy in the supermarket and made him drop
his stuff. He helped him pick the stuff up when a man walked up to them. He was
Clark’s father and tension immediately materialized when he appeared. He
completely ignored Clark and asked his son to leave with him.
Leah realized that she was lost and called Clark to go pick
her up. Clark asked her where she was and Leah described the area. Clark told
her to stay put since the place was dangerous and he went to get her. Some guys
were following Leah and she tried to run away from them. Tiffany called her
then but Leah hang up on her saying that she would call later.
Leah ran off but the two guys who were following her caught
up with her. They started harassing her and Leah fought back but they were too
much for her. Clark arrived in time to get the guys off her but the guys
attacked him instead. It was a while before Clark could manage to fight them
off but he beat them up real good and told them that no one messed with his
wife.
When they got home, Leah talked to Tiffany and told her what
had happened. She however asked her not to tell their dad because he might get
upset and make her return to the Philippines. Leah cleaned up Clark’s wounds
and she tried to tease him by saying that he could be a boxer but Clark was in
serious thought and was not laughing. Leah asked him what was bothering him and
he told her that he had met his father and he acted as if he did not know him.
Leah listened to him and told him that he was there to listen to him.
After Jack confessed that she was a lesbian, Jigs demanded to
know more about his father. Jack told him that the guy was her friend and had
been with her to console her when she broke up with her girlfriend. One day,
something happened between them and she found out later that she was pregnant.
She stayed away from him but tried to contact him when she was about to give
birth but she was never able to do it. She therefore decided to raise Jigs on
her own and went to America in order to provide him with a better life. Jigs
told her that she should have taken him to his father since she did not have
the time to take care of him.
When Jigs talked to his grandmother about his father, she
told him that it was not her place to talk about him. She added that he was a slacker
and Jigs could have been worse off if he had gone with him.
Jigs went out later and texted his grandmother to tell her
that he was out with his friends. Jack was worried about him but her mother
told her to relax since Jigs had already texted him. Aunt Jack felt jealous
that he had texted his grandmother and not her. When Jigs got home, Jack tried
to talk to him and said that he was worried about him as his mother. Jigs told
her that if she wanted to be a mother, she should go back to America where
Clark was since he was more of a son to her.
Leah had a video call with Tiffany and told her that she was
fine since Clark had protected her. Tiffany noticed that she kept mentioning
Clark and asked if she was starting to like him. Leah denied it vehemently and
Tiffany told her that it wouldn’t be such a bad thing since Clark was good
looking and seemed like a nice guy. Leah agreed with Tiffany and started going
on about how brave and caring Clark was. Clark was asleep on the bed and woke
up just as Leah was gushing about him. Leah’s back was turned and it was
Tiffany who saw him listening on the screen. She alerted Leah and Leah stopped
immediately. She said goodbye to Tiffany and asked Clark to join him for
breakfast. She had prepared his favorite dish. As they were eating, Leah told
Clark not to think about his father not wanting to know him since his father
was the one losing out. Clark thanked
her for her words.
The two stopped to watch a festival on their way to work and
Leah saw someone who looked like her mother.
At work, Cullen noticed Clark’s bruises and asked him what
had happened. Clark told him what had happened to Leah and Cullen ended up
teasing him about how protective he was of Leah. Clark said that he was only
taking care of her because of Jigs.
Leah called Tiffany and told her that she had seen someone
who looked like their mother.
Tiffany’s son also got really sick and she was at a loss
whether to use the money she had collected for her father’s operation for her
son’s treatment. Mr. Sol told her to use it.
Leah was determined to find what had happened to her father
so she decided to look for her mother’s last employer. The person lived far
away and Clark was worried that Leah might get lost again so he asked her to
wait and go the following day. Leah was disturbed by the possibility of her
mother being alive and she cried as she asked Clark why her mother would choose
to lie to them.
Jigs went out to drink with his friends and Rico brought him home very drunk.

In the morning, Clark called Cullen and asked him for a favor. He then left a note for Leah on the fridge saying that he had a surprise for her. We ended as Leah got ready to leave and read Clark's note on the fridge...
