ON THE WINGS OF LOVE Episode 32
We started with Leah telling Clark about the incident at
work and he asked her if there wasn’t someone else in a higher position that
she could report the incident to.
Leah told him that her creative director was
close with her supervisor. Clark told her that although he could not give her a
promotion or a raise, he would serve as her inspiration like the way she had
for him. He also apologized for not going to see her since he had been busy and
he didn’t text or call because he did not want to bother her. He realized that
Leah had missed him too and leaned in for a kiss. Leah stopped him and told him
that they were not in America since people did not kiss in public back in the
Philippines. He later took her home but had a hard time leaving since he did
not want to but Leah convinced him to go home.
Jigs went to drink since he was still sulking about Clark
and Leah being together and Clark always being the favorite. Maggie joined him
and interrupted his sulking session. She told him that they had something in
common since they both loved to drink. Jigs opened up to her about Clark and
Leah as they drunk together. Maggie got too drunk so Jigs took her home to
their place. Aunt Jack asked him why he did not take Maggie home and he told
her that he did not know where she lived. Aunt Jack went to call Maggie’s aunt as
Jigs went to remove Maggie’s boots so that she could sleep more soundly but she
kicked him on the face.
In the morning, Jigs told Maggie that she needed to
apologize for hitting him. Maggie said she was sorry and gave him a card to go
to the gym she worked at where he could get a discount.
Clark went to Leah’s house on the weekend and brought her
flowers. He also asked Mr. Sol if he could take Leah out since he had a work project
that involved design and his client felt as if the café was lacking a manila
feel. Since he did not know Manila so well, he wanted Leah to show him around. Leah
refused to do it and said that she had work to do but Mr. Sol told her that it
was the weekend and she did not need to work so she could go.
Leah took her time getting ready and Mr. Sol went to see if
she was ready. He told Leah to take care of Clark since she knew Manila better.
Clark and Leah first went to eat and where they took pictures
and Clark called it happy memory number in Manila. After eating, they went to
an art place which really delighted Clark and he thanked Leah for taking him
there. They then went to church and Leah told Clark that it was where her
parents got married. She got all emotional when she asked how her mother could
have left them after swearing in front of the altar that she would stay with
her father till death. Clark tried to tell her that maybe her mother had her
reasons but Leah said that whatever those reasons were, they did not justify her
leaving her husband and her children. She told him that she wanted to bury all
the pain that her mother had caused her and forget about it so that she could
move on. Clark said that he wanted to make a promise to her in front of the
altar. He said that he would never make her go through the kind of pain that
her mother had.
When they went to bed that evening, Leah apologized to Clark
for getting emotional earlier but Clark told her that he was actually thankful
because she had opened up to him. Leah thanked him because he could draw
strength from him.
Tolayts was out with Tiffany and Gabby and he kept saying
that they were out on a date. Tiffany
told him not to expect anything from her. She saw a man in the car and told
Tolayts that they had to go. She grabbed Gabby and they left.
The following day, Tiffany told Leah that she saw Adrian;
the man in the car. She said that she did not know what he wanted after all
that time. Leah told her to give him a chance and hear what he had to say.
Aunt Jack helped Rona and her son move into a cheaper
apartment. Rona asked if Jack had a computer she could use and Jack told her
that she could use the one in her apartment. Rona’s son found her looking at
pictures of her family and she tried to get him to go closer so that he could
see his sisters. The boy told him that he did not have any sisters and the only
family he knew was his father who was now gone.
Rona wrote and email to Leah to try and reach out to her.
She said that she loved her and missed her; adding that she would not ask for
forgiveness because she did not expect her to forgive what she did. She added
that she missed and loved Tiffany and her father as well. Mr. Sol caught Leah
reading it and wanted to see why she was crying but the screen was too bright
and he was not able to read it. Leah told him that it was an open letter that
someone sent her.
Leah asked him if he was afraid of loving her mother and Mr.
Sol told her that love was not a decision but a feeling and what mattered most
was that she loved him…
