We started with David apologizing to Yna for accepting Angelo’s
offe. He said that he was not a bad person and only wanted to help Angelo
because he needed them.
He thought Yna would be upset and said that they would
keep things professional in order to avoid trouble. Yna did not say anything
and just hugged David.
Angelo went back to the bakery with the papers to partner
with Yna’s restaurant. He asked Sir Greggy to prepare the heart because he had
something huge to tell him. Everyone was excited and Angelo finally told them
that he had the deal from Kus Yna.
Sir Greggy asked Angelo whether he would be okay working
with Yna and Angelo said that it would be strictly business between them. He
added that he would bake the pastries at the bakery shop and only deliver them
to the restaurant.
Ligaya learnt from Sir Greggy that they were able to save
the bakery and she was excited because she would now help Angelo bake the cakes.
She went to the shop with Ichu and they found Angelo brooding. Ligaya said that
Angelo did not seem happy about getting the deal adding that something was
wrong. Ichu teased her for how well she was able to discern Angelo’s mood.
Later, Yna told Takong about offering the pastry deal to Angelo
and insisted that it would only be business between them. She also said that it
would be good for them to work together so that they could finally gain some
closure.
Ligaya was helping Angelo decorate cakes when she noticed
that he was brooding again. She got a spatula full of cream and smeared it on
Angelo’s face pretending that it was an accident. She made Angelo laugh as he
threatened to smear her face as well and then Joy said that she missed seeing
him laugh.
David called Sir Greggy and asked him to dinner that evening
together with the rest of his stuff. He wanted them to finalize the deal and
also pay them the investment they had agreed on.
Liya was upset after she found out that Angelo begged Yna to
get the deal but Angelo told her that they had to humble themselves for the
welfare of their family.
Since Liya was not able to pay Egoy for the money she had
borrowed, Egoy asked Yna to lend him some money to enroll in school. Yna gave
Egoy the money and asked him to pay her back whenever he had the money.
In the evening, Sir.Greggy left with Monay and Kabayan. They
conveyed their apologies for Angelo who was supposedly sick. They had dinner
and David paid them the money they had agreed. Yna hired another chef who would plan Angelo’s
pastries and how they would be served and she wanted to meet Angelo personally
so that they could discuss some things. She asked Sir Greggy to tell Angelo to
go to the bakery shop the following day.
That evening, Yna dreamed about Angelo visiting the bakery
shop and she told him how much she missed him.
Angelo received the message and was nervous the following
morning as he prepared to leave for the bakery. He arrived early and scared Yna
who was preparing breakfast. He stayed in the kitchen watching her and she was
nervous having him there so she burnt the food. He asked her about her
relationship with David and Yna said that they had grown closer after living
together for two years adding that David even learnt to cook from her.
David and the other chef arrived to have breakfast and
Angelo seemed jealous about how familiar David was with Yna. As they sat down
to talk, David had his arm around Yna and Angelo could barely listen to
whatever they were saying. David then said that Angelo had to change the
supplier to some of his products because they would supply them to save on costs.
He wanted Angelo to change his milk supplier but Angelo said that he did not
want to change any of his ingredients because it was what made his cakes
special. Yna told him that he had no choice because it was business.
Angelo got upset and went
out for some air. Yna said she was going to the washroom but she went to
spy on Angelo. Angelo got a call from Yna asking for money for a school project
(she actually wanted to pay Egoy back) and Angelo said he would try and see
what he could do. He looked up and saw Yna watching him.
Angelo went back to the table and agreed to compromise with
the ingredients for the sake of their business. As they were talking, Angelo
received a call from his prison. Eduardo’s release papers had already been
processed and he called Angelo to go pick him up because he was free! Angelo
jumped from joy, and then caught himself. He told Yna and David that he had to
go get his father and rushed out of the restaurant. He called Liya to tell her
that he was picking her up from school for a surprise and we ended as Yna stood
up to watch him leave…
