We started with Leah waking Clark up because she had a
surprise for him. She brought him Adobo in bed but Clark asked her for dessert.
Leah asked what kind of dessert Clark wanted and he told her that he wanted a
kiss. They were about to kiss but Gabby barged in and told Clark that he wanted
to play basketball. Clark asked Gabby to wait for him to eat and they ate
together since Gabby wanted to have some Adobo too.
The weekend was over and when Leah escorted Clark home, she told
him that she wished he did not have to leave because she already missed him. Clark
told her that he could live with them but Leah told him that it was not
practical since it was far from where he worked. Clark told her that things
would work out and they would start living together again like the way they did
in San Francisco.
Aunt Jack was video chatting with her mother when Clark
arrived home. Clark and Aunt Jack had been avoiding each other so grandma
played a trick on them by saying that she had to get something in the bedroom.
She left the two of them to talk and Aunt Jack broke the ice by congratulating
Clark on his café opening. Clark told her that he had something to tell her and
Jack asked him what it was. Clark told her that he had not told her the whole
truth because he had not gone to the Philippines for work only; he had only
returned for Leah because he loved her. Aunt Jack asked him why he was telling
her this and Clark told her that she was like a mother to him and he loved her
so he did not want to lie to her. Aunt Jack was moved and told Clark that he
was happy for him and Leah because she could see that Clark loved her very
much. Clark said that he wanted to explain things to Jigs as well. Aunt Jack
told him that it was not yet the right time to tell Jigs about it since he was
only getting his life together in the US and the news might disrupt his
progress. She asked Clark to wait for the right time and to let her be the one
to tell Jigs about it.
When Jigs and Aunt Jack were having dinner, Jigs told his
mother that he had a job interview with Maggie’s patient because she had
recommended him for a gardening position. Aunt Jack said that was good but
asked him what was going on between him and Maggie. Jigs only laughed and told
his mother that he and Maggie were only friends.
When Jigs met Maggie’s patient, he was able to get the job
because Maggie put in a good word for him and the two went out to celebrate
Jigs’ new job.
The weekend rolled along back in the Philippines and Clark
went to pick up Leah along with her family for their vacation to Batangas. He
brought his siblings along while Leah went with Tiffany, Gabby, Mr. Sol and
Tolayts. They stopped for lunch in Tagaytay and then drove along to Batangas.
When they arrived, they checked into their hotel rooms.
Clark received a call as he and Leah were settling in and he went into the
bathroom to pick the call. Leah was not happy and wondered why he had to lock
himself in the bathroom to take the call but she convinced herself not to be suspicious.
When Gabby, Tolayts and Tiffany were getting ready to go for
a swim, Adrian called Tiffany. He told her that he was in Batangas as well and
in fact he was right there in front of them. Gabby had innocently told Adrian
about their trip and he followed them there. Tiffany was not happy to see
Adrian. He and Tolayts spent his time fighting for attention from Gabby and
Tiffany throughout the trip.
When Clark and Leah went on a boat ride, Clark told Leah
that he was not going to return to the US if she did not want to. Leah asked
him if he wouldn’t regret it but Clark said that he could support his siblings
now since the furniture shop was doing well and he could also be with her so it
was a win-win situation. They also reminisced on the time they had talked about
taking their families on vacation when they were still in San Francisco and
Leah thanked Clark for making her dreams come true.
The entire family had a bonfire later and Clark sang for
them. He and Leah stayed back to enjoy the fire and they were kissing when
Clark’s phone rang again. Clark tried to ignore it and kept kissing Leah but it
kept ringing so Leah asked him to answer it. Clark went away to answer the call
and Leah could not help but feel insecure about who he was talking to. When Clark
got back, Leah asked him who it was and Clark told him that it was Axle. He got
back into their kissing position but Leah told him that it was late and there
were mosquitoes so they had to go inside.
When Clark went into the bathroom, Leah decided to take a
look at Clark’s phone and unfortunately for her, he got out before she returned
it. She told him that she only wanted to know who he was talking to but Clark
got upset because she did not trust him. He took his phone but he told her that
he did not want to ruin their vacation because of something so petty so they
should just forget it. He went into bed and left her staring at him.
Leah went outside and had a talk with Tiffany. She told him
that although Clark loved her, he was such an amazing guy and many women would
love to be with him. She said that she could see that Angela was interested in
him. Tiffany reassured her and told her that if she wanted to be with Clark,
she needed to trust him whole heartedly.
Leah went back into the room and found Clark sleeping. She
woke him up and apologized for letting her insecurities get to her. Clark told
her he was sorry too because he should have been considerate of her situation
as well since she was still learning to trust him. He told her that if she was
ever in doubt, she should remember that he belonged to her. Leah hugged him and
told him that she belonged to him as well.
The following morning, Clark took Leah on a horse ride to see the volcano and we ended
as he told her that he would go past the lake and climb the mountains just to
be with her…
