We started with Leah’s neighbors talking to Mr. sol about
helping him out with the visit from Leah’s family and they said that they would
clean around the tenement in order to make the environment more presentable and
also help him cook for his guests.
Clark told Kiko and Axle that he and his family were going
to Leah’s house to ask for hand and they too wanted to go. Clark told them that
they were not part of the family and the guys were sad because they thought
that they were part of Clark’s family too. Clark therefore agreed to have them
accompany him. His family also talked about how they were going to attend the
event and checked on each person’s availability.
Leah and her workmates were talking about the expansion of
their company to places like Dubai and the US and Leah’s boss told her that she
could be the first one to get transferred because she already had a green card
but Leah said that she preferred to stay in the Philippines because that was
where her family and husband were.
When Clark went to see Leah at her house, he was on edge
about the event but Leah asked him not to worry because no matter what
happened, they belonged to each other.
Clark was nervous about the event and started constructing
his speech he would tell Mr. Sol as he asked for Leah’s hand. Grandmother
Pacita found Clark stressing over it and asked him not to worry because
whatever he had to say had to come from his heart.
Jigs had already decided to go to the Philippines to try and
stop Clark’s wedding to Leah. He went to see if he could get a plane ticket but
the attendant told him that the flight was dull. He however told him to go
later and see if any passengers
cancelled their flight. When Jigs went back, he was told that a
passenger cancelled and so there was a seat available if he wanted to leave.
Aunt Jack arrived at the airport to speak to Jigs but he told her that there
was nothing she could say to stop him. Aunt Jack told Jigs that she would not
stop him and hugged him goodbye.
After Aunt Jack got home, she was surprised to see Jigs
enter the door with his suitcase. Aunt Jack asked him why he was back and Jig
said that when he was about to pay for the flight, he realized that he did not
have his passport so somebody might have stolen it because he kept money in it
for emergencies.
Aunt Jack had a video
call with Grandma Pacita and told her what had happened to Jigs. Grandma Pacita
asked Jack if she was the one who had hidden the passport and Jack said that
she had only done it the first time but not this time. She explained that she
had done it the first time to keep Jigs there because she had to do it. Jigs
overheard the last bit and surmised that his mother had his passport.
When Aunt Jack arrived home from work, she found that Jigs
had turned the house upside down trying to look for his passport. He confronted
her and she told him that she did not have it. Jigs said that he had heard her
and knew that she had the passport. They started arguing and Maggie found them
still at it when she arrived. She asked Jigs to stop harassing his mother
because she was the one who had his passport.
Jigs asked Maggie how she had come by his passport and she
told him that he dropped it in the gym two days before. She had wanted to keep
him from leaving but then realized that Jigs would do whatever it took to
return to the Philippines. Jigs told her that he really had to speak to Leah
face to face.
Before Jigs finally left, Aunt Jack made him promise to
respect Leah’s decision and if she turned him down, he would return to America
and continue building his life.
Jigs’ arrival in the Philippines came as a surprise to
everyone and the only person who was really happy to see him was his
grandmother. Clark had to go to work bur they promised to talk about Leah
later.
Jigs went to see Leah at her house but she was not around.
He spoke to Mr. Sol instead and told him that the marriage between Leah and
Clark was a hoax and they only did it to get Leah her green card. He was
disappointed to find out that Mr. Sol already knew about it and he did not
mind. He told Jigs that Leah and he had already broken up when she met Clark
and what mattered at the moment was that they loved each other. He therefore
asked Jigs to respect Leah’s decision.
Tiffany called Leah and told her that Jigs was at their
house and wanted to see her. Leah went to see Clark at work to talk about the
situation and Clark told her that he would be the one to handle Jigs.
Jigs went to drink with Rico and was stinking drunk when he
arrived home. Clark refused to talk to him and said that they would talk when
he was sober. Jigs fell on the ground and when Clark offered a hand to help
him, Jigs slapped it aside.
The following day, Jigs went to see Leah and wanted to force
her to go with him so that they could talk but Leah refused to go with him. Mr.
Sol appeared and told Jigs to leave his daughter alone so Jigs left again
without speaking to Leah. He was waiting for Clark to go home and he attacked
him for stealing Leah. The two began
fighting and when Granma Pacita found them punching each other, she asked them
to stop. She however had an attacked and collapsed.
Jigs and Clark took grandma Pacita to the hospital and Clark
had to call Leah to cancel on the family meeting because his grandmother was at
the hospital. The doctor said that grandma Pacita suffered from a stroke and
needed to stay under observation for a few days.
We ended as Clark and Jig each held Grandma Pacita’s hands
beside her bed…
