We started with Jigs going to see Mr. Sol to tell him about
Rona being alive. Jigs rode past Tolayts in the tenement and went straight to
see Mr. Sol.
He got a call from his mother as soon as he got off his bike and
she begged him not to do what he wanted to because she knew he was not a bad
person. She told him that he would never forgive himself if Mr. Sol took the
news badly so he should not tell him. Jigs told her that he had given Leah and
choice and this was what she chose, then he hung up.
Jigs went to see Mr. Sol and said that he needed to tell him
something. Mr. Sol got up and waited for Jigs to tell him what he wanted to
say. Before Jigs could say anything, Clark arrived with Leah. Tiffany and Audrey joined them and they all
watched in vain as Jigs talked to Mr. Sol. Jigs glanced at Leah and she subtly
shook her head as a plea for him not to say anything. Jigs remembered his
mother’s words that he was not a bad person and only told Mr. Sol that what he
wanted to say was that he was not a bad person and everyone was wrong about
him. He turned to leave and Leah called him. Jigs told her that he was not a
monster and left on his bike.
As soon as Jigs left, there was a crashing sound and Jigs
cried out in pain. Everyone went to the road to see what had happened and they
found Jigs sprawled in the middle of the road bleeding. Clark and Leah rushed
him to the hospital after which Clark called Aunt Jack to tell her about what
had happened to Jigs.
Aunt Jack was devastated when she got to the hospital. The
doctors took long to operate on Jigs an when they were done; they said that
Jigs’ heart had stopped for a while but they had been able to revive him.
However, his brain had not received enough blood during the time his heart
stopped so Jigs had slipped into a coma and they did not know when he would
wake up, if ever.
Leah was sad because of the diagnosis and told Clark that if
Jigs did not survive, she would not be able to forgive herself. She also
thought that Clark’s family would not take kindly to her for driving Jigs to
his death but Clark told her it was not her fault. He also asked her to go home
because she had work the following morning.
At work, Leah got a heavy scolding from Simon for choosing
to go on vacation in the middle of a campaign while her colleagues had been
working twice as hard to meet the deadline. Leah apologized profusely to Simon and
promised never to do such a thing again. Simon told Leah and her colleagues
that those who could not handle his work ethic were free to resign.
Clark met with Diana and Angela to talk about their new café
but he seemed sad and distracted. Diana asked Clark if he was not excited about
the café and Clark told him that it was not the case; it was because his family
was having a hard time dealing with his cousin’s accident.
After that, Clark went to the hospital where Aunt Jack was
still looking after Jigs. He also felt guilty about the accident and apologized
to Aunt Jack. Jack told Clark that his love for Leah was not an issue and the
problem was that Jigs refused to accept that he had lost Leah.
Leah went to the hospital for a while and when she and Clark
went to see Jigs, Leah told Clark that it was no longer about her so Clark and
Jigs had to find a way to make up. As Clark took her home, she asked him if it
would still be okay if they got married with Jigs still sick. Clark said that
he did not see any issue but Leah told him that it would be a sad wedding for
everyone if they did it when Jigs was still comatose. Clark then said that they
would have the wedding after Jigs woke up.
Fortunately, Jigs was able to wake up from his coma and
everyone was glad. Aunt Jack was the first to see him and Jigs said that he was
it was his karma for having caused so much trouble. Aunt Jack told him that it
was only an accident and through it, a lot of people had showed his affection
for him especially Clark who never left the hospital. Clark went in later to
see Jigs but Jigs said that he was not ready to see him.
At work, Leah criticized Simon’s concept for a campaign in a
meeting and all her colleagues was amazed with her audacity. Leah began to
rethink herself and thought that maybe she should apologized to Simon so that
she would not get fired. Simon summoned Leah to her office and told her that he
appreciated constructive criticism. He however did not appreciate that Leah did
not offer any solutions so he asked her to email him her ideas by the end of
the day. Leah was a little confused but happy with the outcome. She gave Simon
some goodies she had brought from Ilocos but he gave then to his secretary.
Clark picked Leah up from work and told her that Jigs had
refused to see him. Leah asked if she could go speak to Jigs instead. Before
Clark could answer her, he received a text from Aunt Jack telling him that Jigs
wanted to talk to him and Leah. That was where we ended…
