BE MY LADY Episode 77 & 78

Episode 77

We started with Marcy going to Phil's house. She woke him up and said that she brought him breakfast to cheer him up.

They got to talk about Marcy going to jail and Marcy asked Phil not to be upset with his mother because Chelsea had only been protecting him. She said that she would have done the same thing if one of her children were involved.  Phil told Marcy that he was sorry he hurt Pinang and Marcy said that everything was long forgotten and Pinang would forgive him.
After Marcy left, she called Pinang to tell her that she had already sorted things out with Phil.  Phil called Pinang and they agreed to meet for dinner that evening.
Phil however got a call from Steve telling him that Chelsea did not feel well ever since she arrived back from the Philippines. He wanted Phil to go to Singapore to see her and Phil said that he would be on the next flight back to the Philippines.
Pinang was at work taking care of Sir Ricky when Phil called to cancel their date. He said that he had to go back to Singapore to see his mother since she was not feeling well. Sir Ricky got another anxiety attack so Pinang told Phil that she had to leave and Phil said it was fine. Phil said he loved her and Pinang was too distracted so she replied that she loved him too without thinking about the reply. The phone fell down as Pinang rushed to take care of Sir Ricky and Phil was left on the end of the line surprised by what Pinang said.
After Sir Ricky calmed down, Pinang remembered what she told Phil and she panicked. She wanted to text him about what she said but she decided not to incase Phil did not hear her. She told him to have a safe flight instead.
Phil left for Singapore immediately to see Chelsea and found her sulking in bed. He was smiling when he went in to see her and she asked him whether he was still mad. Phil told her that he was no longer upset since he had come to understand that Chelsea did what she did because she loved him. They made up and had dinner together with Steve. Phil also told Chelsea that Pinang would be going to Singapore the following day and he would ask her to be his girlfried. Chelsea told Phil that she would not interrupt them anymore.
Pinang was supposed to leave for Singapore the following  evening and when she got home, Marcy had bought some new clothes for her.
The following day, Pinang travelled with Sir Ricky and another nurse to Singapore. His wife was grateful to them for bringing her sweet heart home. She said that Pinang and the other nurse could take turns taking care of Sir Ricky so that they could take a tour around Singapore so Pinang planned to go out with Phil the following morning.
In the morning, Phil was ready to ask Pinang to be his girlfriend and he was armored with everything necessary to pop the question but things started off wrong when Pinang was late. Pinang had trouble leaving because Sir Ricky suffered another anxiety attack. She made sure he was fine before she went out to see Phil. Phil had left their meeting spot to get a drink and when he got back, Pinang was busy taking selfies in Singapore. Phil's plan was to play 'Be My Lady' on his earphones and then ask her to be his lady. Unfortunately, Phil selected the wrong song and it was so loud, they both hurt their ears. With the moment gone, Phil decided that they should go eat first.
After eating, Phil took Pinang to a ride whereby they could see the entire view of Singapore from the top. Pinang was scared but Phil distracted her by showing beautiful view of the city. When they finally got on top, Phil tried to ask Pinang to be his girlfriend again. He told her that she always made him feel as if he was on top of the world but Pinang started screaming once she realized that they were on top of the ride. Phil's moment was gone again as he struggled to get Pinang to calm down before they got back down.
When they got down, Pinang asked to go to the bathroom. Marcy called her and noticed that she was a little sad. Pinang said that it was because Phil had not talked about their relationship but Marcy asked her not to expect anything and enjoy her time.
Phil called Nars and Miggy and they told him not to give Pinang the everlasting necklace because it would be insensitive after what Marcy went through because of the stolen necklace. Phil therefore had to rethink the entire plan of how would  ask Pinang to be his lady.
When Pinang returned, they walked around the park with beautiful gardens Phil finally got to ask Pinang to be his girlfriend. Pinang had a flower on her ear and Phil suddenly got serious. He told Pinang that she looked the way she did  during Terrence's wedding. Phil remembered seeing her almost drop her bouquet and he added that it was the moment that his heart fell too. He said he loved her and she was his everlasting love. Pinang told him that there were a lot of reasons why she shouldn't love him but his persistence had paid off and her heart had responded to him. Phil couls hardly believe it so he asked her to repeat it and Pinang said she loved him!

Episode 78

Phil and Pinang went on a boat ride and Phil confessed that he had been trying to ask Pinang to be his girlfriend the entire day. Pinang was surprised and she told Phil that she thought he was not going to ask her especially after she told him that she loved him. Phil said that he had not been sure about what Pinang had said during that phone call. Phil also told her all the plans he had made but everything had gone wrong.
He said that he wanted to give her a necklace but Nars and Miggy said that it would be insensitive because of Nanny Marcy. Pinang asked Phil to show her the necklace and then told him to put it on her. Phil played 'Be My Lady' like her was supposed to and shared the earphones with Pinang. He then took her hand and they danced together on the boat.
Back in the Philippines, Marcy talked to Elsa about taking over Pinang's caramel custard business so that Pinang would no longer have to do so  much. She and Emil were upset that their children worked so hard to help them take care of their bills and they hoped that they could take care of things so that their children could focus on their lives. Elsa agreed to help Marcy look for more restaraunts to supply Caramel custards to.
Yohan created a meme about Julian being gay with the photo they took in the locker room and shared it on the school website. Margared talked to Julian's friend about it since Julian had no clue and they told her to be the one to tell Julian about it.
When Margaret saw Julian later, she tried to tell him about the meme but he was in a sour mood because he was asked to redo an assignment so he asked that they talk another time.
Lotlot called Mackie at work to ask if they could meet up but Mackie said that he still had work and then hang up on her. Lotlot called him again to ask if she could go see him at work instead but Mackie said that he would be working overtime and hang up again.
Phil took Pinang to Ricky's place and got to meet Ricky as well as his wife. Phil introduced himself as Pinang's boyfriend because Pinang had  a hard time saying it.  Sir Ricky looked Phil over but was soon assured that he was a good guy with the way he treated Pinang. He left with his wife to give them some privacy and Pinang asked Phil to leave because it was late.
They stalled at the door because Phil did not want to go and Pinang did not want him to leave. When Pinang finally locked the door, Phil texted her and thanked her for a wonderful day. Pinang heard Pinang's phone and realized that she was right behind the door. He texted again and Pinang said that she was behind the door. She heard his phone ring and realized that he had not left so she opened the door. Phil was leaning against the door and he fell in. Pinang rushed to see if he was fine and he asked her whether he was in heaven because he was seeing an angel. Pinang criticized him for his cheesy answers and finally asked him to leave. They agreed to meet again the following day.
Pinang called Marcy to tell her the good news that she was Phil's girlfriend. She also called Nars and Miggy and they could not stop screaming through the phone.
Phil called Chelsea to tell her that Pinang agreed to be his gilfriend and she told him that she was happy for him. Phil then went to see Terrence and Rose to share with them the lovely news. They were super excited for him and they also told him that they were expecting their first child because Rose was pregnant.
Marcy told Emil that Pinang was now with Phil and he told her that it was fine since he had already agreed to their relationship. In the morning, they shared the news with Mackie, Julian and Grandpa Apo.
Julian was in a more approachable mood and Margaret was able to tell him about the meme going around. She also asked him not to get mad because his scholarship was not yet approved. Julian asked Yohan about the meme but he denied having anything to do with it.
Nars and Miggy could not stop gushing about Phil and Pinang at the hospital so Doctor Joselito asked them what they were so excited about. They told him that Pinang already had  a boyfriend and the doctor gave  a hesitant smile as he walked away.
Pinang and Phil went out again and Phil got them matching TShirts saying 'I Love Singapore'. It was their first date as a couple and Phil toured Pinang to more sights in Singapore. They ate spicy food and took rides and that was where we ended....
