We started with Clark asking Leah how Mr. Sol had taken the
meeting with Rona and she told him that he was fine although he was hurt.
Clark
told Leah that it was okay for them to postpone their wedding so that she could
take care of her family problems but Leah said that there was no need to do it.
She added that Simon had said that she should not let her problems rule her
life and he was right. Clark was not pleased to hear another Simon referral and
he asked Leah if she always took his advice so seriously. Leah did not get the
hint of jealousy in the question and told Clark that she listened to Simon
because he was mostly right. Clark told Leah that it was okay to deal with her
family’s issues first because work would always be there and that is what Clark
says.
Tiffany cried in Tolayts’ arms after they got home from
seeing Rona but in the morning, she had to ask him not to over think their
situation.
Mr. Sol woke up looking fine although Tiffany and Leah were
cautious with him. He ate breakfast with them and decided to go to work as
well. Audrey and Harry both accompanied him but he almost got into a collision
since he was thinking about Rona while he was driving. Audrey said that they
should go to the hospital because he looked pale but Mr. Sol said that he was
only hungry and said that they would go have lunch.
Tiffany had lunch with Gabby, Adrian and Adrian’s parents.
They talked about getting Gabby a passport so that they could take vacations
with him abroad and since Gabby was so excited about it, Tiffany agreed. Later,
Tiffany scolded Adriana and told him never to mention such things to Gabby
without asking her first.
At work, Leah convinced herself to concentrate on work. She
ran into Simon in the elevator and she told him that she was meeting the people
from the ad campaign to show them their progress with the campaign.
Simon went to dinner
with a beautiful girl but when she asked him to take her home, Simon called his
driver and told him to take the lady home since he still had work to do. He
called the office to ask if Leah’s meeting was over and asked the secretary to
tell Leah that he wanted a briefing on how the meeting went.
Leah went to see Simon at the restaurant and as he went over
her work, she was busy texting Clark. Simon asked her why she was on her phone
and she said that her husband wanted to know something. Simon asked Leah why
she called him her husband while they were planning to get married. Leah told
him about the arranged marriage and explained that since their vows were
scripted and they did not mean it at the time that they got married, they
wanted to say them in church to make them real in their hearts. Simon commented
that since they did not consider herself married, then someone could come in
between them. Leah thought that he meant Clark could cheat on her and she
flipped. Simon told her that to relax because he had only been joking. Leah
asked Simon to smile more so that people would stop being afraid of him. Simon
asked Leah why people were afraid of him and asked her to be honest which was
one of the things he liked about her. Leah told him that he was too demanding
and got angry when things did not go his way. Simon said that he only wanted
things to be done perfectly and Leah told him that perfection was subjective.
She told him to let people see the kind
of person he really was and heaped praise on his personality as a good teacher
and mentor and he was generous as well. Simon was happy with the description
and raised a glass for a toast. HE said that people had to look into each
other’s eyes as they toasted and Clark arrived when they were toasting. Leah
introduced them to each other since they had not officially me. Clark sat with
them and waited for them to finish so Simon asked him to order something since
they would take a while. Clark declined the offer and when Simon insisted, he
told Leah that he would wait for her outside instead.
At home, Clark waited for Leah in bed but she told him that
she needed to do more work to polish up the campaign. Clark therefore offered to
help her and gave her some very good input that she was able to incorporate in
the campaign. He told her that they were trying to make Andres, the basketball
player look too western when what they wanted was for him to have an appeal to
the Filipino market.
Leah presented her new concept to Simon and although he was
skeptical about it, he agreed to go with her idea. Leah was very excited for
Simon’s trust, she even got his to say her slogan; ACHIEVE! Simon however said
that he wanted to be in the loop on everything about the campaign.
Leah’s idea was to shoot Andres playing basketball at the
local court with the locals and when she told Clark about it, he said that he
would play too if she needed more
players.
On the day of the shooting, Clark brought Kiko and Axle
along as well. Simon arrived in his posh car to supervise the shooting and
caused quite a stir in the neighborhood. Everyone wanted to meet him and shake
his hand and Leah also introduced him to her father and Tiffany. Mr. Sol
embarrassed Leah by saying that she talked about Simon a lot and she looked up
to him. Tolayts, Kiko and Axle were awed by Simon too but they told Clark that
he was more handsome than him.
The game went well and Leah was able to get incredible shots
of Andres. Simon was satisfied too and went to thank the players after they
wrapped up the shoot. Kiko and Axle
pressured Simon into playing one game with them and he finally agreed after a
lot of heckling from both of them. He went into his car and changed into
playing gear and this too was met with some fuss. Leah complimented his lack of
glasses and he said he was wearing contacts. We ended as he threw the ball at
Clark for the game to begin…
