We started with Simon telling Leah that their Ikon campaign had been nominated for a prestigious award in the advertising industry.
When Clark went to pick Leah up, she told him about the award and told her that he had to be her date because it was because of him that she was able to come up with the idea. Clark hugged her and Simon interrupted them as he was waiting for his driver to arrive. He congratulated Leah and told Clark that she would do well in Dubai as well. Clark told Simon that Leah was not leaving because she could not leave him and her family behind.
When they got home, Leah was upset with Clark for having told Simon that she would not be leaving for Dubai and Clark told her that Simon could just get another copy righter but he insisted on taking her because he had ulterior motives. Leah told him she felt insulted because it implied that Clark did not think she was good enough at her job for Simon to want to want to take her along. Clark told her that it was not the case and asked her if she had decided to go after all. Leah said that she had not yet but Clark told her to decide already so as to avoid all the misunderstanding and Leah complained that it was an easy decision.
Tolayts took Tiffany out on a date but it was simply a nice set up that their neighbors helped Tolayts create on the basket ball court. They had a lovely conversation but Tiffany made it clear that it would only be a friendly date.
Later, Mr. Sol talked to Tolayts and asked him to always take care of Tiffany and Gabby once they got together and the statement worried Tiffany because she overheard them. She asked Mr. Sol if he was feeling fine and he said that he was okay and that nothing was wrong.
Clark accompanied Leah to look for a dress for the event and refused to let her wear one that was a little too sexy. She ended up getting a wonderful white gown while Clark refused to wear a tux saying that it was a little too much so he wore a tshirt and blazer instead.
Art Mart won the category that they were nominated for so Simon’s team went up to the podium to get the award. Simon gave all the credit to Leah as the brains to the campaign and let her give the acceptance speech. Leah talked about the campaign giving hope to people and thanked her family for her support. She also thanked the man who had changed her life; Simon because he had mentored her and completely forgot about Clark who was sitting in the audience. Just as they were about to walk off, Leah rushed to the mic and thanked the love of her life; Clark.
When they went back to their seats, Leah apologized to Clark for forgetting about him because it was impromptu and Clark told her that it was fine since she had thanked him after all.
They were supposed to attend an after party but Clark said that he would feel out of place so he told Leah that he would leave her to party with her friends then come back for her later.
Leah ended up drinking way too much as she mingled with Simon and the rest of guests so Simon offered to take her home but she refused to agree to it. She said that Clark would go get her and she ended up passing out on the stairs. Simon found her there with Betsy and he told her to leave saying that he would take her home.
Clark waited for Leah to call and decided to go to the party’s venue when Leah never called back. When he arrived, he found Simon about to carry Leah into his car and he took her from him. Simon offered to help but Clark said that he could take care of his wife by his own.
Clark took Leah to his place instead because he did not want her father to see her so drunk but in the morning, he scolded her for being so carefree with her drinking. He said that Simon had her in his arms when he arrived and he could tell that by the way Simon looked at her, he liked her. Leah apologized profusely for getting too drunk and said that she would only drink water or soda at parties.
At the office, Leah also apologized to Simon for getting too drunk and embarrassing him.
In the evening, Clark found the watch that Simon gave Leah for her birthday in the drawer and asked her where it had come from. Leah told him that Simon had given it for her birthday and Clark asked her why she had not told him about it or worn it. Leah said that it was because she did not want Clark to get mad and he said that he was not mad. Clark placed the watch on the night stand then joined Leah in bed. That was where we ended…
