We started with Clark giving his phone to Leah so that she
could contact her office. Simon called Clark just as Leah took the phone and
she went away to talk to him.
Clark commented why she had to look for privacy
to speak to Simon and followed her. Leah apologized to Simon for not being
available and explained that her phone broke but Simon told her that he was
worried about her since she was alone with Clark and he was afraid that Clark
would do something to her. Leah told him that Clark was not like that and
wouldn’t do anything to her and Clark who heard her snatched the phone away
from Leah. He told Simon that he would not do anything to Leah because they
were only working. He hang up and then handed the phone back to Leah.
Leah was ready to document Clark working but he said he
needed a walk to get the creative juices flowing. Leah was upset since Clark
seemed as if he was stalling but Clark told her she could stay if she didn’t
want to go with him. Leah got her coat and Clark took her to buy some clothes
more suited to the snow after which they went horse riding.
Later, Clark was working and Leah wondered why her crew had
not yet arrived. Clark told her that they announced that there would be a snow
storm in Lake Tahoe so maybe the crew members were not able to travel. Leah
decided to do the shoot by herself and asked Clark if he would drive her to the
bus station once the shoot was done. Clark told Leah that she was not going
anywhere since it was too late for her to travel and in a storm at that. He said
she would spend the night at the cabin with him and that was the end of that.
Simon found out that the crew supposed to help Leah did not
travel and he decided to travel to the Lake Tahoe himself since he was not
happy with the idea of Leah being alone with Leah. Unfortunately, his car broke
down in the storm and he got stranded.
Meanwhile, Leah and Clark both went to bed in different
rooms but they could not sleep. Clark got up first and went to work on
something downstairs. When Leah was on her way downstairs, she saw Clark
working and only stood on the stairs watching him. She was about to go back to
her room when Clark asked her whether she was watching him. Leah said she
wanted to get some water but Clark asked her why she didn’t get it. Leah
decided to go down and watch Clark work and she asked him what he was working
on. Clark told her that he didn’t know yet and only let his inspiration guide
him. He then asked Leah if she wanted to try to sculpture the wood. Leah said
she didn’t know how and Clark offered to teach her. He helped her hold the
hammer, and was sitting close beside her when he teased Leah with a kiss again.
Leah anticipated it but Clark got up and went to his room.
Leah was left hanging and frustrated because of Clark’s
teasing. She went to her room and was packing her stuff to leave when Clark
walked in. He asked Leah what she was doing and she said that she was leaving.
Clark told her that there was a storm outside but Leah said that she would
rather take her chances with the snow rather than stay with Clark. She shoved
him out of the way and was about to leave so Clark told her to go because that
was what she was good at. Leah stopped and shoved her bag on the side then told
Clark to let his anger out and should at her if he was still mad that she left
instead on playing around with her feelings. Clark did the opposite and kissed
her but Leah pulled away and slapped him. She took her bag and tried to leave
but Clark caught her in his arms. Leah turned and hugged Clark back and they started
to kiss. Clark led Leah upstairs and thing were getting heated as Clark got off
his shirt and laid Leah on the bed but there was a knock on the door!
It was Simon! He had managed to get through the storm and
said that he was worried about Leah being alone and having no one to help her
document Clark. They let him in and Clark offered Simon food. He then said
since the cabin only had two rooms, Simon could take one while Leah took the
other and Clark would take the couch.
Clark was drinking downstairs when Leah joined him to talk
about what happened between them before
Simon arrived. Clark told her that he wouldn’t have let things get far if Leah
would have stopped him. Simon joined them and asked Leah for a drink since he
couldn’t sleep. He said he liked
champagne but Clark had only local Filipino liquor called Basi. As they drunk,
they played spin the bottle and asked each other questions. Clark asked Simon
if he loved Leah and he said he did. Simon then asked Clark if he thought Leah
would have been happy if she stayed with him. Clark said he did not know but he
only wanted Leah to be happy with whoever she chose. When it was Leah’s turn,
Simon asked her what she liked best; champagne or Basi? They pressured her to
answer but Leah said she didn’t like either since they both stressed her and gave her a headache.
The following day, Leah left with Simon and sent a crew to
finish Clark’s interview. When Clark got back, Aunt Jack asked him why he
didn’t ask whether Leah was with Simon and he said that he didn’t want to hear
her say Yes.
Leah saw Clark’s interview and was in tears when she heard
Clark talk about the woman he loved and he had followed her halfway around the
world but she left him and it broke him. He said he channeled all that pain in
his work and when he was asked if he could get back together with her, Clark
said he didn’t want to because he did not want to go through all that pain
again. That was where we ended…
