The show is about twin sisters, Sara and Kara both played by Montes and how jealousy and identity test the sisters amid a cycle of plotting and Revenge.
Julia Montes is supported by a stellar cast made up of Sam Milby, Mylene Dizon, Carmina Villarroel, John Lapus, Ariel Rivela, Maxene Magalona, Anjo Damiles among others. It was Julia's follow up teleserye after Ikaw Lamang.

Doble Kara was a highly successful day time drama which led to the show running from August 2015 to January of 2017 through two books split into 6 seasons. Book 1 of the show already aired on Startimes Kenya and we once again find ourselves in a delicate position where since a number of us have already watched the show. As such, I am imploring those who watched it before to please give the rest of the viewers a chance to watch the program without giving away any spoilers. Thank you. :)
