Episode 79
We started with Grandpa Apo asking Julian why he looked sad and Julian told him about the gay meme that had been spreading about him in school. Marcy, Emil and Mackie arrived home and Julian asked Grandpa Apo not to say anything.
After they greeted each other, Marcy asked why they both looked so serious and Julian said that it was nothing. Grandpa Apo however blurted out that Julian was being bullied at school. Everyone wanted to know what was happening but Julian refused to talk and went inside the house. Marcy wanted to go talk to her but Emil stopped him and said that he would do it himself.
Julian told Emil about the gay meme and Emil told him not to bother with the guys at school but he could not accuse them of spreading it because he had no proof. Emil told him to just ignore them but if it happened again, then he should report them to the school officials.
Pinang learnt about what was happening at school and called home to talk to Julian. Julian assured her that everything was fine.
The following day, Pinang met up with Phil to buy sovenirs for their family and friends back home. As they were eating, Pinang made a list of all the people she wanted to give gifts to because she did not want to forget anyone.
They went shopping and bought stuff for everyone including Doctor Joselito. Later, took Pinang to see Terrence and Rose and then out to the city to see a lighting display.
Phil brought food for Chelsea and she was surprised that he had remembered her. Phil told her that he would not forget about her even if he now had a girlfriend because she was his mother. They then sat down to eat and Chelsea seemed happy.
Emil and Marcy went around San Isidro, Marcy taking samples of her Caramel Custards while Emil advertised his rice seedlings. Marcy managed to get a new order later and she was asked to start supplying Caramel Custards to a restaraunt.
Later, Phil watched football with Chelsea and Chelsea was bored because she did not like football, nor understand anything. Phil taught her the rules of the game and a chant as well so that they could cheer for Brazil. Chelsea saw how excited Phil was so she apologized for not attending his games when he was younger because she had been busy.
Doctor Joselito had dinner with James and they talked about Pinang returning from Singapore. James asked Joselito to look particularly handsome when he saw Pinang once she returned.
Lotlot had not seen Mackie for a few days and he never answered her calls so she decided to go to the workshop to see him. When she got there, she got mad because Mackie had Monica's hands in his because she had hurt herself and he was checking to see if she was fine. Monica and Mackie bent down to pick up some things that had fallen down so they did not see Lotlot.
Mackie left work much later and found Lotlot waiting outside. He asked her why she did not go in and she told him that when she did, he was holding Monica's hand. Mackie explained that he was only helping Monica because she hurt herself. Lotlot said that she had missed him because they had not seen each other for several days and Mackie said that he had been working extra hours because he wanted to save up for their wedding. He told her about overhearing her conversation at the reunion so he wanted to do his best to give her a good wedding and provide for her. Lotlot told him that they were still young and what was important was for them to spend time together.
Phil wanted to leave with Pinang but he was not able to get a seat on her flight so he booked an earlier flight. Chelsea was in tears as she saw him off and Phil asked her to go visit him in the Philippines.
When Phil arrived, he waited for Pinang to arrive at the airport and even bought her flowers. Emil and Marcy borrowed a vehicle to pick up Pinang and when they got there, Phil was also there. Pinang told them that she had said yes to Phil and Emil looked dead serious but he was only teasing. As they were about to leave, Phil and Emil both grabbed Pinang's suitcase and Phil insisted on carrying it. Marcy hit Emil and he decided to let the suitcase go.
Episode 80
Emil and Marcy took Pinang and Phil home and Grandpa Apo congratulated them on their relationship.
Marcy talked to Pinang privately in her room and advised her to be responsible so that she would not engage in anything that she might regret. Emil also talked to Phil outside and told him to respect his daughter because he was her first boyfriend. He asked that they not to engage in any illegal acts or things that only married people were supposed to do. Phil gave his souvenirs to Arsing, Badong and Roger and later, Pinang saw him off as he went to his house.
Margaret waited for Julian at the pitch and apologized for not telling him about the Meme earlier. Julian said that she was not upset and went ahead because the coach called them. One of the school officials wanted to speak to them because Margaret had reported the meme incident. The official said that cyber bullying was not allowed in their school and they would track the IP address of the person who spread that photo.
Yohan was identified as the culprit and he received a suspension. He was also kicked off the football team. Julian thanked Margaret later for what she had done and Margaret joked that it was a shame she did not have a gay best friend to go shopping with.
Monica offered Mackie an overtime job at work but he refused to take it. She was puzzled since he was saving up for his wedding and Mackie said that he did not want to have the money then lose his bride in the end.
That evening, Pinang gave the gifts that she had brought with her to the family. Marcy and Emil talked to their children and told them that they did not want them to help with paying their debts anymore. They all protested but Emil was adamant that they had everything figured out. He would start selling his seedlings soon while Marcy said that she would take over Pinang's caramel custard business. Pinang said that she would be fine but Marcy told her that she would be too exhausted once she became a registered nurse and it would be too much for her to handle the caramel custard business as well. Emil refused to have any further discussion and that was the end of it.
In the morning, Phil accompanied Pinang to the market then took her to work. On the way, he asked if they could have a date later that evening but Pinang said that she wanted to help Marcy out with the Caramel custards first. Phil teased about how Pinang always said 'No' to everything and asked her to say 'Yes' sometimes. He asked to go out with her the next day and Pinang had to agree to it.
Doctor Joselito heard Nars and Miggy say that Pinang would be arriving at work soon so he went to the ER to wait for her. After a while, he got impatient and went to wait outside under the guise of getting coffee.
Phil arrived holding hands with Pinang and Miggy and Nars could not stop gushing. Doctor Joselito watched them for a while then left before they could see him.
When Pinang arrived at her work station, she gave her friends their souvenirs and Doctor Joselito was surprised to get a gift as well.
Phil called Pinang when he got home and asked her if she missed him. Pinang was at work and was hesitant to respond because there were a lot of listening ears but she eventually did and all the nurses squealed. Doctor Joselito got a little upset and said that they were at work, not high school. Pinang apologized and Joselito said that he was happy for her.
Phil picked Pinang up from work and took her on a picnic. He later went home to work on his duck app because Terrence said that there was a company interested in developing it.
Emil was nervous about seeing a new client who was intersted in his seedlings and he asked Marcy for advice on how to go about it. She gave him some pointers and asked him to be confident about what he would be saying.
Phil worked all night then slept a little in the morning . He got up later then prepared to go out with Pinang.
Nars got into trouble at work for misplacing a patient's file so Pinang and Miggy stayed to help him look for it. Phil was already waiting outside for Pinang when she texted to cancel. She said that Nars had a problem and she was helping him out and Phil said that it was fine. He had brought coffee and cake for Pinang but he did not want to go into the hospital. Doctor Joselito arrived then and Phil asked him to give the stuff to Pinang. He was about to refuse but he agreed as soon as he heard Pinang's name.
Doctor Joselito gave the stuff to Pinang in the hospital and she rushed outside to see Phil because she did not know that he was already there. Phil however had already left on his bike and we ended as Pinang tried to look for him...
