Team Waissa lives on!

I'll Never Say Goodbye ended a week ago with the finale showing a happy ever story ending for Waldo and Aryann with a wedding.


Theirs was a lovely love story but at some point in the middle of the story, I stopped believing in the unending love that Aryann and Waldo had for each other. This was because of Issa's introduction and I dare say that Waldo had more chemistry with Issa than he ever did with Aryann.

Aryann always brought problems along with her and her relationship with Waldo was based on sacrifice but what happens when there is no longer something to sacrificing for or fight against? I wanted to see them together and love each other without all the problems. This could have been achieved with a more comprehensive back story but they rushed through it and by the time the story started, Aryann was already with Tristan so we never got to see Aryann just be with Waldo.

 Meanwhile with Issa, Waldo joked and laughed and even fell into a routine whereby they would eat street food, go home or to work together. I was glad that the show acknowledged that Waldo did have feelings for Issa when he told her that she would have been the one he'd have chosen if Aryann was no longer there. It was more than clear that Waldo was starting to fall for Issa because he never discouraged her like the way he did with Leila. Leila knew where she stood with Waldo from the begging and that was the reason she disliked Issa; because Waldo liked her even when he said he was still in love with Aryann.Waldo married Aryann in the end and dear Issa ended up with the ever tenacious Jeremy.

Jericho Rosales, Yen Santos on the set of Love will Lead You Back

 Fortunately, my Waissa heart is now alive because Jericho Rosales and Yen Santos now have a new Serye together! Finally, Waissa stans have something to look forward to as the two lead the cast of Love Will Lead You Back alongside Sam Milby and Sam Concepcion. Rumor has it that Jericho Rosales specifically requested to have Yen Santos as his leading lady which means that he too recognizes that the two of them have amazing chemistry together!
They are currently taping the new Serye and I really hope we get to watch it once it's released so that our Waissa hearts can finally get what they deserved! What do you think?
