We started with Angelo going to look for Diego at his house
but he found that new people were living there and they did not know where
Diego was.
A woman went to harass Yna’s customers at her eatery in the
market. She wanted him to go to her eatery instead because he was her customer
but Yna told her to stop bothering her customers before they were done eating.
The woman told Yna that she was the only queen of the market and all her
shouting would not change anything. She told Yna that she must be doing
something extra to gain her customers and Amboy who was there with Yna and told the
woman that it was not Yna’s fault that she made better food. Yna asked the
woman to go back to her space because they were all there to earn a living and
she would not tolerate being harassed.
Amboy told Yna that he wished Angelo would pass by with
Eduardo’s campaign trail because he knew that Yna missed him. He then said that
he had to catch up with Egoy to do something and left.
As Yna was cleaning
around her space, she heard Angelo say that it seemed like a nice place. She
turned surprised to see him there since she almost didn’t believe it.
They were glad to see each other because they had not been able to for a while
and Angelo gave her flowers.
Yna offered Angelo some food as he kept her company. He said
that he missed her food but he missed her more. Yna told him that she was doing
well at the stall and her customers would start streaming in soon. As they ate,
Angelo talked to Yna about Amor and his hunch that she was planning something
against his family. He told her about the claim that Diego had raped Amor but
he did not believe that his uncle could do such a thing. Yna asked him if he
had talked to Diego about it and Angelo said he was not able to but the
case was dropped years ago so there was no truth to it. He instead said that it
was Amor that he did not trust. He told Yna that David was her son and even
though she claimed that she came back to stop him from taking revenge, it was
more likely that she was the one who sent him. Yna told Angelo that Amor was a
nice person and was not out to harm them because she was already supporting
Eduardo’s campaign. Angelo told Yna that he did not trust Amor but he asked her
to forget what he said because he was just airing his thoughts.
Belen had gone to buy some vegetables for their stall when
he heard some vendors talking about Madam Claudia. The vendor said that she
would not vote for Eduardo in the coming election because his wife was not a
good person; she even blacklisted her son’s girlfriend so that she would not
get hired in any of the restaurants in Punte Verde.
When Belen went back to their eatery, she found Angelo there
and she was not happy to see him. She asked him to leave before his mother
found out he was there and ended up making things difficult for them. Angelo
asked her what she meant and Belen told him that his mother was the one who
asked other restaurants not to hire Yna.
Angelo went to confront Claudia about it but Claudia said
that she would never accept his relationship with Yna adding that she should
not be held responsible for everything that happened to her.
Angelo called Yna that evening and told her that they should
not let their parents’ actions affect their relationship. He said he still
loved his mother even with all her faults and hoped that Yna would not asked
her to stop. Yna told him that she would never ask that of him. He said that he
wanted to see her and they went out to watch the stars as they talked.
When Yna got back home, she felt guilty for not having told
Angelo about what she heard between Claudia and Diego. She told her father
about it and he advised her to tell Angelo the truth. Yna said that it was not
her place to tell the truth but Isko decided that Amor had to know what Claudia
did before because she had lied by saying that Amor had consented to be with Diego
while she had seen him rape her.
The following day, Isko went to see Amor without telling
anyone but when he got to her house, he completely forgot what he was doing
there. Isko had gone to the hospital earlier and learnt that the memory lapses
he was experiencing was because he had a condition called Alzheimers disease. He left Amor’s house and started wondering
around the streets without knowing where he was.
Claudia and Eduardo were having trouble with their finances
because most of their investors at Buena Corp had pulled out to partner with
the Zalamedas so she was eager to announce the partnership with Amor. In the
meantime, she requested for a huge loan to fund Eduardo’s campaign.
Claudia turned down an event and said that Eduardo would
attend it so that she could meet up with Simon. It was the christening of a child
so Eduardo went as the godfather and Amor was chosen as the godmother.
Angelo was there too and he took the opportunity to tell
Amor that he would not hesitate to retaliate if anyone was out to hurt his
family. He said it cryptically and Amor only smiled as she applauded his dedication
to his family. That was where we ended…
