We started with Leah talking to Tiffany via video call and
telling her that she did not know what she was going to do about Clark.
Tiffany
told Leah that she was only hesitant because she had already fallen in love
with Clark. Leah went quiet and Tiffany took it as a confirmation so she asked
Leah if Clark loved her as well. Leah said that even if Clark loved her, the
two of them could not do anything about it since she had promised Aunt Jack
that she would never fall for him.
Jigs had learnt from Leah that her father was sick so he
went to see him together with Aunt Jack. They brought Mr. Sol a lot of fruits
and Jigs told Leah’s father that it was his mother who had taken care of Leah
when she got to the US. Mr. Sol thanked Jack and asked her how Leah was doing.
Jack said that Leah was fine and she would continue taking care of her since
she was going back to the US. Jigs promised Mr. Sol that he would take care of
Leah as well.
When Aunt Jack talked to Mr. Sol’s doctor, she learnt that
she knew one of her family members from the US and Jigs told her to call the
person so that they could ask for a discount for Mr. Sol’s hospital bill. The
plan worked and Tiffany was asked not to pay for the bill entirely after Mr.
Sol was discharged.
Leah went to a job interview but the interviewer told her
that they needed someone with experience so that they could save on the time
needed to train them. Lea went to the bar that Clark worked and told him what
had happened. Clark told her that if she was meant to have the job, it would be
hers because that was how destiny worked.
As they walked home, Clark stopped Leah and told her that he
wanted advice for a friend of his. He told her that the friend had made a
promise to someone but along the way, he realized that he had broken it. Leah
asked what promise this friend had made and Clark told her that the friend had
promised not to fall in love with someone but he already loved her. Clark
pressured Leah to tell her what the “friend”
should do but before Leah could say anything, her phone rang! It was
Aunt Jack checking in on her and she wanted to tell Leah that she and Jigs had
gone to see her father at the hospital. She also told Leah that she would be
returning to the US in a couple of days. Leah asked Clark what he was saying
but Clark told her that they would discuss it later and they went home.
Clark went to sleep first and Leah took out the treasure box
that Clark gave her during their prom. She compiled the memories the two of
them had shared together and put them in the box. She put the photo of Clark
that he gave her during their trip to Napa Valley as the first memory and the
rose that Clark gave her during their prom as the second memory.
The next day, Leah prepared Adobo for Clark and when he got
home, he had a television with him. Leah was delighted because she had asked
him to get a TV before and Clark told her that he would let her watch it if she
shared the Adobo with him. Leah said that she had made it especially for him
and as they sat down to eat; Leah took out her phone and took pictures of Clark
eating. Clark asked her what she was doing and she said that she was making
happy memory number three.
The two later watched a movie that Leah thoroughly enjoyed
herself and Clark ended up falling asleep on Leah’s shoulder. When Leah tried
to wake him up, Clark said “I love You” in his sleep. Leah called it happy
memory number four and said I love you too.
The following day, Leah was leaving for work when her
workmate told her that she had passed by the bar that Clark worked at and
watched him sing. Leah said that she did not know that Clark sang so she
decided to go to the bar too. Clark wanted her to leave but Leah refused to go
before she watched him sing. When Clark got to the podium, he sang “on the
wings of Love” and dedicated it to his wife.
When they got home, Leah started crying and Clark asked her
what was wrong. Leah told him that she had realized that the box he had given
her would not be enough for all the happy memories that they has shared. She
thanked Clark for everything he had done for her and when she went to say more,
Clark stopped her and told her that no matter what happened to them, she would
always be special to him.
In the morning, both of them were woken up by an incessant knock
on the door and when Leah went to open it, she was not glad to see Jigs walk in
with flowers for her. Jigs commented that Leah and Clark seemed like they were
not happy to see him and Jack added that it was because they were surprised.
As they had breakfast, Jigs criticized Clark’s little
apartment and said that he was not taking care of Leah properly. He talked
about their impending divorce but Jack told him that they could not get
divorced immediately because immigration might find it suspicious and Clark
agreed whole heartedly. Jigs however said that he would take better care of
Leah now that he was there.
In the evening, Clark decided to sleep on the couch so that
Jigs would not get upset if he learnt that he had been sharing the bed with
Leah.
Jigs and Jack wanted to have breakfast with Leah and Clark
in the morning but when they got there, Clark was already gone. Jigs wanted to
invite Leah to go sightseeing with them but Leah said she could not go since
she had picked up double shifts at work. She however thanked Aunt Jack for
helping them with the hospital bill and Jigs had to say that it was all his
idea. We ended with Leah heading to work as Jigs left with Aunt Jack…
