We started with Clark arriving at the Filipino family event
and refused to sit with Leah.
A man at the table he sat at noticed this and
told Clark that if he had a disagreement with Leah, it was Family day and they
needed to patch things up. He helped Clark up and ushered him to Leah’s table.
The people around them asked Clark and Leah to kiss and make up and Clark
kissed Leah on the cheek amid applause.
After the couple made up, it was time to participate in the
games. Jigs wanted to partner up with Leah but the person heading the games
said that they needed couples too so she called Clark and Leah. Jigs was left
with no option but to partner up with Aunt Jack.
Throughout the games, Clark and Leah had some intimate
moments as they fell on each other and accidentally kissed on occasion. Jigs
got upset and accused Clark of taking advantage of Leah. During the tag of war,
Clark and Jigs played against each other but since Jigs was not having a good
day, Clark decided to let him win; which made Jigs exceptionally happy.
After the games were over, Aunt Jack wanted someone to sing
and since Clark was standing, she asked him to go to the podium. Everyone asked
Leah to go up as well as Jigs complained that Leah was too tired and needed to
rest. Leah however went up and performed a lovely duet of “On the wings of
Love” together with Clark. They held hands and looked intimately at each other
to the point where Jigs could not watch them anymore. He left the table and
Aunt Jack followed him. She asked Jigs to be patient with Leah and understand
that everyone thought they were in love so they had to act out the part.
Aunt Jack bumped into Leah in the bathroom and she
congratulated her on the duet. She said that the two of them looked so in love;
it was believable. Leah was in her own
zone but she told aunt Jack that they were simply acting.
Jigs wanted to dance with Leah but some girl interrupted
them and asked Jigs to dance with her. Leah went to sit down and she passed
Clark on the way to her sit. Clark caught her arm and asked her to dance with
him. He said people thought they were married and it would be suspicious if
they did not dance together.
As they danced, Leah asked Clark why he had conceded in the
tag of war game against Jigs and Clark told her that Jigs had always been
competitive; so it was just easier for them if he gave in and let him win. Leah
told him that it was easy for him to give things up but Clark told her that
some things were not as easy to give up. The two continued to dance intimately
and Leah lay her head on Clark’s shoulder but she saw Jigs watching them and
immediately stopped. Jigs went and asked Leah to dance with him but they
changed the music immediately from intimate to dance music.
Aunt Jack got a call from her boss asking her to take care
of a patient so she immediately had to leave and asked Clark to take care of
Jigs.
Clark and Leah were at home and getting ready for bed. Clark
told Leah that they needed to talk but there was a knock on the door. It was Jigs.
He said that he had been rained on and since Clark’s house was closer, he
decided to go to their house instead. He also asked if he could sleep over but
the question of where he was going to sleep arose. He wanted to sleep on the
bed with Leah but Clark told him to sleep on the couch and he would take the
floor.
In the morning the three of them were having breakfast and a
shirtless Clark kept getting in Leah’s way. Jigs asked him to put on a shirt
but Leah said she was used to it. Jigs went in the bathroom and came back
wrapped only in a towel; saying that he ate breakfast that way. He started
showing off his guns to Leah and Clark joined in. Leah only watched them as she
held her cup of tea and told them to stop when she had seen enough.
After Leah left for work, Jigs asked Clark if he could spend
the night at his house again since Jack would be at work throughout the weekend
and he did not want to stay by himself. Clark agreed but told Jigs to behave
since he was making Leah uncomfortable.
At work, Leah told Munet how uncomfortable things were at
home and Munet said that Leah could stay with her if she could no longer stand
the tension at home. Leah arrived from work to find Clark and Jigs almost
coming to blows with each other and she decided to leave the house. Jigs tried
to call her but Clark told him to give Leah space.
The next morning, Clark called Leah and told her that they
needed to talk about their divorce. Leah told him that she was busy all week
but Clark told her that he would be ready to talk once she had time.
Jigs called Aunt Jack and told her that he would stay with
Clark until he managed to make Leah move out of the house.
Cullen and Munet were dating and since they saw how hard it
was for their friends to admit their feelings for each other, they decided to
set them up. Leah’s friend called her from a restaurant and told her that she
did not have any money to pay for the bill, so she asked Leah to get her some
money. Leah arrived only to find Clark with Cullen. Cullen left the two of them
and went to distract Aunt Jack who had seen Leah go inside the restaurant. He
told Jack that Leah had already left.
Clark and Leah ate dinner as they talked and Clark
apologized to Leah for acting like a jerk toward her the past few days. He had
tears in his eyes when he brought up the divorce and he asked Leah when she
wanted them to divorce and she told him that it was up to him. Clark told her
that he was just trying to make things easier for them once they separated but
the further he pulled away, the harder it was for him because it was hurting
him. He pulled Leah’s hands from across the table and told Leah that he could
not bear to let her go… That was where we ended!
