We started with Jigs talking to the store owner who had
given him a job and told him that he had never seen his mother so upset after
he told her that he was leaving.
The man asked Jigs why he wanted to go back
and he said that it was because of a girl. The man asked him if he was sure
about the girl and Jigs said he was not. The man told him that it was a huge
gamble he was making and he too would have reacted the way his mother had.
Jigs went home and told Aunt Jack that he was leaving. Aunt
Jack told him that he was old enough to make his own decisions and got up to
take away the cup she was using to drink coffee. She cried in pain and sat back
down. She had been complaining of back pain ever since she fell on the stairs so
Jigs insisted that he take her to the hospital before he left.
At the hospital, the doctor told Aunt Jack that she needed
to rest until her back was fully healed otherwise it would get worse and she
would no longer be able to work. Jigs took her home and all Jack could do was
complain about all the money she would lose if she stopped working. Jigs asked
her who would take care of her when he left and she said that she could handle
herself, and then crawled in bed. Jigs only looked at her then called the airline
to rebook his flight. He said that he had to stay longer because of a family
emergency.
Tiffany was having a hard time managing the finances and
Leah told her that she would do her best to look for a job. She added that if
she did not find one soon, she would go back to America. Mr. Sol found them
talking and told them to stop buying expensive medicine for him, adding that he
would go back to work so that he could contribute with the expenses. Tiffany
told Mr. Sol that they were not having money problems and the only thing they
wanted was for him to fully recover so he could not go back to work.
Leah saw a hoard of ballons floating outside and went to
look at them. Clark appeared behind her nd gave her another set. He asked if
the balloons had cheered her up since that was what he wanted to achieve. Leah
took the ballons Clark was holding and put them between her and Clark to stop
him from kissing her.
Clark brought groceries with him and told Mr Sol that he did
not know what to bring them. Leah said that she was going for a job interview
and Clark insisted on accompanying her since he had nothing to do. Leah did not
want him to go with her but Mr. Sol said it was a good idea for Clark to take
Leah like he had done with their mother.
Leah collected some undergarments on the way and planned to
sell them as a side job. She then went to her former office since she had heard
that there was a vacancy. Once they arrived, she told Clark to go. Clark asked
her why she never appreciated what he did for her since all he wanted was to be
with her. He asked her if she was sure that she wanted him to go and Leah said
yes. Clark left and Leah looked hesitant as he walked out of the door.
After Leah met the creative director for the interview, she
found Clark waiting in the lobby. He said that he left but had gone back to
look for the rest room.
On their way home, they got stuck in traffic and Clark
started complaining that they were wasting too much time. Leah said that it was
the reason she did not want him to accompany her but Clark said it was fine
since he was with her. He got out his earphones and gave Leah one so that they
could listen to some music and not get bored. He held out his hand and Leah lay
on his shoulder.
Tiffany ran into Sasha at the shop and Sasha tried to tell
her that there was nothing going on between her and Tolayts. She insisted that
he was a good guy but they were only friends because Tolayts had eyes only for
her. Tiffany told Sasha to date Tolayts since she did not have any plans of
bein with him. Tolayts listened to their entire conversation and felt hurt when he heard Tiffany say that she
did not like him.
During dinner, Mr. Sol mentioned an upcoming festival and
asked Clark to join them. Clark was happy to agree but Leah said that he had to
return to America because of a client. Clark said that he would talk to the
supposed Client and ask if he could stay a bit longer since he was sure she
would not refuse him. Mr. Sol asked him to do it so that he could stay with
them.
When Clark and Leah went to sleep, Leah reprimanded Clark
for accepting the offer to stay. She said that he was making things hard for
her and Clark was hurt to hear that his presence was hard for her. Leah told
him that she wanted space and Clark said he understood that but he wanted to
spend time with her. He asked if it was so hard for her to let him stay and
Leah said that it was. She wanted him to go and if he insisted on staying, she
would only try to find a way to make him leave. Clark was so hurt, he left her
alone.
When he went outside, he found Tolayts looking very
depressed. They exchanged experiences about the two women who were making their
lives hard and Tolayts ended up crying on Clarks’ shoulder.
Leah finally told her father that her marriage to Clark was
planned so that she could get her green card and he was furious for being kept
in the dark once more especially when he found out that Tiffany knew about it.
Tiffany said that she was the one who told Leah not to tell him because his
doctor had said that he should not be stressed.
Tiffany got upset with Leah for telling their father the
truth. Leah said that she also wanted to tell him about their mother and
Tiffany told her not to do it because it would be the very thing that would
kill him.
Since Jigs did not leave, he was the one who filled in for
his mother at work.
In the morning, Mr. Sol refused to eat when he saw Leah and
left the table. Tiffany had to leave so she asked Leah to take care of their
father and give him his medicine. After Tiffany was gone, Clark gave Leah a hug
and told her that everything would be fine. We ended as Mr. Sol watched the
intimate scene from his room…
