We started with Ligaya talking to Ichu and telling her that
she would not pursue a relationship with Lloyd.
Lloyd met up with his father and he said that he wanted to
meet his girlfriend. He did not believe that Lloyd was telling him the truth
and he said that he wanted Lloyd to invite the woman he kept talking about at
their company party.
Lloyd went to see Angelo at his bakery and said that he needed
his help to win over the woman he liked. He proposed a deal that if he won over
her, then he would help Angelo and convince his father to read Angelo’s
proposal. The deal was sealed with a handshake and Angelo was confident that he
would help Lloyd.
Kabayan; Monay’s husband was left inside the bakery instructing
Lloyd how to be manly so that his girl would like him back.
Angelo was outside with Sir Greggy when Ligaya arrived with
Ichu. She had made a fruit salad for Angelo and offered it to him as a truce.
Angelo knew something was up and refused to accept it. Sir Greggy urged Angelo
to take the salad because it seemed delicious but Angelo refused to take it.
Ligaya acted all sweet and insisted that he take it so Angelo finally took the
bowl and gave it to the market officer who was passing by. He gladly accepted
it but Ligaya did not agree for her salad to be given away.She desperately
tried to get Angelo to take it back but the officer was already munching into
it when a frog jumped out of the bowl. Everyone was in horror and Angelo
started to argue with Ligaya for what she had done. Ligaya said that it was
Angelo’s fault for giving away the salad.
Lloyd and Kabayan went outside because of the commotion.
When Lloyd saw Ligaya, she called him the joy of his world and introduced her
to Angelo who was amazed to find out that Ligaya was the girl Lloyd had been
pursuing.
The officer took both of them to his office and scolded them
for always causing chaos. He punished them by giving them community service for
three weeks. They were supposed to coach the children basketball together and
help them get past the first elimination round.
When Angelo got back to the bakery, he asked Lloyd if he
wanted them to find another girl for him because he did not think Ligaya was
suited for him but Lloyd said he only wanted her. He said that Ligaya defended
him when he got bullied in school and ever since, he had fallen in
love with her. He also asked Angelo if he could join in their basketball
sessions so that he could see Ligaya.
Manay’s son Bubwit had an interview project for school so he
decided to make Angelo and Ligaya the subject of his homework by finding out
how the animosity between the two of them started.
Yna had a new suitor, the brother of her boss at work and he
went all out to make his intentions known to her. He serenaded Yna and gave her
a bouquet of flowers but she turned him down. She was also upset by his gesture
because he reminded her of Angelo.
Belen had also become irritable and short tempered ever
since Caloy’s death. She took it out on everyone including her family,
neighbors and employees at the laundry shop. Belen had been badly affected by
Caloy’s death and she had asked Yna to leave so that she could get over it. She
said that she did not blame Yna but she was reminded of how much Claudia hated
Yna which indirectly caused Caloy’s death. Yna had refused to leave with Amor
when Caloy died but Belen had asked her to leave so that she could be able to
get over her son’s death. Yna contacted David and he helped her go to the US
for her scholarship.
Angelo helped Lloyd arrange a serenade for Ligaya but they
only got the door shut behind them. Lloyd insisted on going with Angelo to his basketball
game where he was supposed to coach with Ligaya. Angelo and Ligaya immediately
started arguing because both wanted to be in charge and they ended up confusing
the children. Angelo suggested they play a game and whoever won was in charge
but they hit one of the children with the ball and he collapsed.
Yna was still unable to get in contact with David but he sent
an acrobatic team to perform outside her house. When they were done, one of
them handed Yna a phone and she was finally able to talk to David. He said that
he had been planning something for the next day; something that both of them
knew about but Yna had forgotten. David said he
would see her on the following day to remind her and that’s where we
ended…
