UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN Episode 5

We started with the police and the people from the town going to get Ana from Calvin.

Calvin tried to fight them off and prevent them from taking Ana with them but they were too many so he eventually had to let them take Ana.

Claire called her friend to ask her to find a buyer for the watch she stole since she was planning to leave Evelyn’s house after the incident with Ana’s doll. Evelyn went to apologize later to her for scolding her because of the doll and asked her not to go home yet so that they could go shopping.

They went to the mall and Evelyn bought Claire a lot of stuff. She left her for a while and some girls from Claire’s school harassed her and threw away all the stuff that Eveleyn had bought, calling her a cheap person because she was poor and adopted. When Evelyn got back, she found Claire crying and consoled her.

Claire felt touched by Evelyn’s actions so when they got back to the house, she called her friend to tell her that she would not sell the watch because she did not want to lose Evelyn’s trust. She added that it was the first time in a while that she felt as if she had a mother. She waited until Evelyn fell asleep and quietly went to her room to return the watch in its case.

Calvin was stressed about Ana and could not shake off the feeling that she was doing well. He packed up his stuff along with his friend so that he they could leave to Manila and seeing how restless he was, his friend suggested that they pass by the municipal hall to see how Ana was doing so that Calvin would stop worrying.

After Odessa learnt that Ana had been caught, she went to the station to kill her. She was disguised and beat up the guard with Ana. She wanted to stab Ana and kill her so that she would never return to her parents but her plans were disturbed when Calvin showed up. She ran away and his while Calvin took Ana away with him.

Ana was restless when Calvin took her away and he had to calm her down because she could not stop barking. He gave her a snack to eat and she finally fell asleep. Calvin went to Manila with her.

Claire’s father went to get her from Evelyn’s house but Evelyn said she would not let him take her because he had been abusing her. He said that it was not true and Helen who was there too asked if Claire had been lying. Evelyn invited Claire’s father inside so that they could talk about the issue.

He told Evelyn and Helen that he only slapped Claire because she was being stubborn but he never abused her. Evelyn asked him how he adopted Claire because Claire had already told Evelyn that she was adopted. Her father told Evelyn that she found Claire by the side of the road when she was really young. She was crying and did not know where her home was and since he did not have any children, he and his wife decided to adopt her.

Evelyn felt as if the story fit Ana’s disappearance and thought that Claire could be her missing daughter. She therefore asked Claire’s father to let her do a DNA test. Claire herself agreed to undergo the test hoping that Evelyn might be her mother. She asked her father to let her stay with Evelyn once more for the night so that they could get to know each other.
Odessa went back to the house and packed up her stuff, as well as her aunt's and said that they would be moving to Manila.

Calvin and his friend stopped by to buy some snacks to eat as Ana slept but she woke up as they were talking to the food vendor and the woman got scared by Ana’s bark as well as the way she looked. Calvin decided to go without any food and they went back to the car.

They proceeded on the way to Manila and we ended as all three of them had fun in the car while howling like Ana…
