Episode 75
She called out for Pinang and Miggy told her to continue walking because she was not the only nurse Crisostomo in the hospital. The nurse called Pinang Miss Crisostomo instead and she had to go back. The nurse told Pinang that she was needed back in the ER even if her shift was already over.
When Pinang went back to the hospital, she was puzzled because it was not busy or uderstaffed. Doctor Joselito told Pinang that he was the one who requested for her because she was still under probation and he wanted nurse Malou to see how efficient she was. Pinang thanked him and went back to work.
Phil came back to the house carrying groceries to use for the following day with Pinang's family. Chelsea asked why they had to cook themselves because they could just buy the food but Phil told her that it showed a sense of caring for the guests so they had to make the food themselves. Chelsea started having doubts about having Pinang's family coming over and asked Phil if they should cancel it. Phil said that it was too late because he had already invited everyone. Chelsea got exasperated and said that she was going to buy a dress because she wanted to look good.
That evening, Phil called Pinang and she sounded jovial so Phil asked her why she was happy. Pinang told him that it was because she had an old and grumpy patient at the ER but he had warmed up to her and they had become good friends. She told him about Doctor Joselito requesting for her because he wanted her to show her skills. Phil was puzzled because he thought the doctor was grumpy and asked Pinang whether the doctor liked her. Pinang said that the doctor was only being friendly and assured Phil that he was the only one for him.
The following day at the hospital, Pinang had lunch with Sir Ricky, her elderly patient along with Doctor Joselito and she told them that she would be having dinner with Phil's family. Sir Ricky teased her and asked her not to accept anyone without letting him meet them first.
The next was the dinner with Phil and his mother so Marcy made the beef stew that Phil liked to bring it with them. Mr Emil told Marcy that it was good because they would have something to eat if Chelsea turned out to be a poor cook. Pinang said that she would make Caramel custards for dessert.
Phil cooked with Chelsea and she was supper stressed because she did not know how to cook but Phil guided her through it. She was covered in floor by the time they were done and she complained to Phil that they had to prepare more food because she did not want Marcy's family to think that they did not want to feed them. Phil asked her to relax then told her to get ready before the guests arrived.
That evening, Marcy packed up the food with Pinang and then they got ready to leave. Mackie had a school reunion to go to with Lotlot so he did not accompany them. Grandpa Apo said he was tired too and wanted to rest so he stayed home instead. Phil called Pinang to ask if he could pick them up and Pinang said that it was not necessary because Sir Emily had borrowed a car for them to ride in.
Pinang went with Julian and her parents to Phil's house and they were welcomed warmly. Chelsea was still and tried to smile when they arrived. Julian was excited to see the buffet setting and Phil told them about the brazilian dishes that he had prepared. They talked in Filipino and Chelsea asked Phil if they did not like the food. Phil said that they were only making jokes then paraphrased as she told Pinang and her family that she her mother said that they were welcome.
They sat down to eat and Phil had a lot of fun laughing and chatting with everyone except Chelsea who only watched on. She did not understand the jokes but Pinang tried to include her by explaining to her what they were saying. Chelsea suddenly got up and left the table saying that she needed to get something in her room. She felt overwhelmed at the table but she urged herself to go back for Phil's sake. She stood by the door and watched again as Phil had fun with Pinang's family and decided to go back to her bedroom instead.
After a while, Pinang asked Phil if his mother was fine and Phil went to check on her. He asked her if she was feeling okay and she told him about how happy he was with Pinang's family. Phil told her that Pinang's family treated him like he was part of their family but he would always love her more because she was his mother. Chelsea told him that she wanted him to be happy so she would no longer oppose his relationship with Pinang but she would never be able to get close to Marcy's family.
The two of them went out and Chelsea apologized saying that she was not feeling well so Marcy decided that they would leave.
At Mackie's reunion party, he heard some of the girls talking to Lotlot about getting married since they had been together for 6 years. Lotlot said that they were both focused on helping their families since they were in no hurry and they also needed to save up for a wedding.
The following morning, Phil went to pick up Pinang to take her to work. When they got to the hospital, Phil told Pinang that his mother decided not to oppose their relationship so they could now continue dating. He then asked Pinang out to dinner the following day and she agreed to go with him.
Episode 76
When Pinang got to the room, Sir Ricky was clutching at his heart and Pinang tried to get him to relax as his doctor arrived. She sang the duck song for him but she had to stop when the doctor arrived. She tried to cover up for Sir Ricky since he had soiled himself but Nurse Malou who was there told Pinang to leave since she was no longer needed.
During Pinang's break, she was worried that she would be reprimanded by the head nurse so she was a little stressed. Nars and Miggy found her sulking and they thought that it was because the dinner with Phil's mum did not go well but Pinang told them that she had agreed to let Phil have a relationship with her. Pinang received a text telling her that Nurse Malou wanted to see her after her break and she rushed back to work.
At School, there was tension because of Julian and Yohan constantly fighting so their teammates asked that they settle things because the team was suffering. Julian shook Yohan's hand as a sign that they had made up and the guys asked them to take a picture together. Julian put his hand on Yohan's shoulder and smiled as they took the picture. After the rest of the guys left the locker room, Yohan said tha he would use the pictre againt Julian and asked his friend to edit it then they would post it on the school's site.
Mackie also worked extra hard at the auto shop because he was thinking about Lotlot as well saving up enough money to give her a deserving wedding.
Pinang was not able to see Nurse Malou because they were busy at the ER so the nurse went to ask her instead. She told Pinang that Sir Ricky had been discharged and would be flying to Singapore to be with his wife but he had requested that she accompany him during the flight. Pinang was worried about her duties at the hospital because she was still under probation but the nurse said that she would be granted a leave of absence to accompany the patient because he specifically asked for her. Pinang was also worried about being inexperinced but she was told she would be accompanied by another nurse who was more experienced and who would orient her.
Pinang called Phil immediately to tell him about his assignement and Phil suggested that she go with Nanny Marcy too. Pinang told him that it was not possible because her mother had been deported before so she would not be allowed to go back to Singapore.
Phil was however determined to help Pinang travel with her mother so he consulted a lawyer from Singapore to look into Marcy's case hoping that her travel ban had been lifted. The lawyer however said that it was not possible because Marcy had a criminal record after being imprisoned in Singapore for stealing the necklace.
Chelsea confirmed this and told Phil that she did not want to tell him because he would continue to feel guilty. Phil got mad at her for not telling the truth then and letting Marcy go to prison for something she did not do while she could have done something about it. Chelsea said that she wanted to protect him since he was still a child then but Phil could not help getting angry at her.
Pinang asked everyone to go home early so that she could tell them about her new assignment. Both Emil and Marcy agreed to let Pinang go to Singapore since it would only be for a few days.
The following morning, Chelsea called her friend Marion and they went back to Singapore without telling Phil. When Phil went to look for Chelsea in her room, he did not find her.
Pinang styled her hair for work because she would be seeing Phil later that evening. As she was taking care of Sir Ricky with Doctor Joselito, they both gushed at him as he talked to his wife and asked her not to worry about him since she was fine. Pinang said that she wanted a sweet heart of her own as well and the doctor asked if she had already said Yes to Phil. He then caught himself and explained that he only wanted to know because he wanted all his nurses to be happy. He then excused himself and left.
Phil went to see Nanny Marcy after his mother left but he found her busy. Sir Emil went to pick up Marcy and Phil talked to him instead. He told Emil about finding out that Marcy was in jail because of him and Emil told him that they had already dealt with it long ago and he should not blame himself since his mother was the one responsible for what happened. He said that the rest of the family did not know about it and Phil decided that he would tell Pinang.
When they went out for dinner, Phil was serious and told Pinang that he needed to tell her something. He told her about his intention to surprise her and Nanny Marcy with a trip to Singapore but he was not able to because he found out that Marcy had gone to jail while in Singapore because of the necklace. Pinang was taken back by the news and told Phil that she had to leave.
When Pinang got home, she talked to Emil about not telling them that Marcy was in jail and Emil told her that they did not do it specifically because of the effect it had on both of them.
Pinang told Marcy that she wanted to pamper her for always taking care of them so she asked her to go to sleep as she went to the market and prepared dinner. She texted Mackie and Phil and asked them to go home early.
Before dinner, Sir Emil talked to Julian, Mackie and Grandpa Apo and told them the truth about Marcy going to jail. Grandpa Apo got mad because he had not been told about Marcy's imprisonment but Emil explained that he had just recovered from his stroke and they did not want to endanger his health.
Pinang talked to Marcy and told her that they already knew the truth. They went out to join the rest of the family and everyone was in tears because of what Marcy had gone through in Singapore. They hugged her and then sat down to eat the special dinner that Pinang had prepared. That was where we ended...
