We started with Clark and Simon at the auctioning podium and Clark told Simon that since they were not able to determine a winner between them, the person who won the highest bid would be the winner. The bidding continued and both guys put on antics to get the ladies to bid for them.
Simon started off by taking off his jacket and since Clark did not have one, he unbuttoned his shirt. Simon unbuttoned his shirt too and was able to get a bid worth 50,000 after pulling off his belt. Clark was able to get a higher bid of 55,000 courtesy of Angela and Betsy was grateful to both Clark and Simon for helping them meet their deadline. Simon congratulated Clark for winning the bid but Leah was left confused since both Clark and Simon did not explain why Simon had congratulated Clark.
When Clark and Leah went to bed, Leah asked Clark why he had placed himself for a bid. She wanted to know whether he was competing with Simon again like the way they had during basket ball and asked Clark if he was jealous of Simon. Clark told her that he was not jealous and that he had simply placed himself for the bid because he wanted to help her raise the money that they needed. Leah asked Clark if he would have to go on a date with Angela and he said that he would because she won the bid. Clark asked Leah if she was jealous and she told him that she was not. The tried to sleep looking away from each other but they both turned back at the same time and Clark held Leah in his arms as they slept.
The next day was Sunday so Leah went to eat with Clark and his family. Grandma PAcita announced that Clark’s brother had passed the exam to enroll in a prestigious university but they were worried about the fees. Clark said that he had saved enough money to educate his siblings and he would make sure that they got a good education. Leah was glad to hear Clark say this and she told him that she loved him. Clark announced that he would not work even though he had a lot of orders because it was hubby and wifey day.
Clark took Leah out to the plot that he wanted to buy and he told her that it was the place that they would raise their family. He got out a rope and set out the area then brought out some chairs where they pretended to be eating. Clark also had a mat that he laid out and they lay there together imagining that it would be their bedroom. Clark kissed Leah and they were having a nice intimate moment together when Leah’s phone rang. It was Simon. Leah tried to ignore it but Simon called again. He told her that they had an emergency because their client wanted them to present that very day at 4 pm. Leah agreed to meet Simon at the office but Clark did not take it well that she did not even try to say No to Simon. He packed up their stuff in anger and drove Leah to the office.
Leah refused to get out of the car before they settled things but Clark told her not to keep her boss waiting and to get out of the car. Leah insisted that she too was not happy to have to work during their time together but it was the nature of their call to be on standby at any time. Simon called again and Leah eventually had to get out of the car.
Leah tried to call Clark when she got to the office but he did not answer. He later texted her that he would not be able to pick her up from work since he was going out but he had sent someone to go get her.
Clark went to sun and moon to pick up Angela for their date and since Jigs was already going home, Clark asked Jigs to join them.
Leah was disturbed about Clark’s text so she called him but Clark said that he was out with Angela for their date so he would still not be able to pick her up.
As Leah wrapped things up with Simon, he noticed that she was disturbed and asked her what was wrong. Leah told him about her concern with Angela because she was beautiful and rich but Simon told her not to worry because she was a great catch herself and Clark would not cheat on her because he loved her.
Clark decided to leave Jigs and Angela alone at the bar and went home. He found Leah outside the tenement fighting away mosquitoes because she had been waiting for him. Leah admitted to being jealous of Angela and Clark told her that she had no reason to be because he belonged to her. He also apologized to her for getting upset about her job and Leah promised not to cancel their dates because of work.
The following day, Simon announced to his team that the Ikon campaign was doing really well and everyone who worked on the campaign would get a huge raise.
Rona went to the hospital because she was having severe back pain and the doctor told her that she had a kidney disease. Mr. Sol also went to the doctor because of his chest pains and the doctor told him that it was not a good sign. That was where we ended…
