We started with Mr. Sol telling Leah and Tiffany that he had
seen their mother. They all looked surprised and he mistook it for worry that
he was going crazy so he told them that he might just be seeing things because
he was missing her.
Mama Lulu talked to Leah’s co-workers who were planning on
throwing her a wedding shower and they all planned to help each other throw a
party for Leah. Meanwhile, Clark refused to let Kiko, Axle and his uncles
through him a party since they only wanted to trick him into giving them money.
As Leah was telling Simon about her idea of getting an
underdog basket baller for their sport campaign, Simon asked her why she did
not use the laptop he had given her. Leah fumbled and said that she used the
laptop at home. She then presented the concept to Simon but he was not buying
it. Simon told Leah that the idea was
out of the box but she had to make sure it worked. Leah assured Simon that it
would work although she started doubting herself later. He coworker told her to
trust her gut.
As Leah was leaving to go home, she was attacked by masked
men who took her into a van and drove off. Leah screamed for them to let her go
but they took her to a surprise pool party that was supposed to be her wedding
shower. Leah was alarmed because Clark had not gotten a bachelor party so she
left immediately she arrived. Before she was out of there, a man in police uniform stopped her and hand
cuffed her. On looking closer, it was Clark! He took her back to the party and
performed a strip tease for Leah which both thrilled and embarrassed Leah. Aunt
Jack, Tiffany, Tolayts, Kiko, Axle Leah’s coworkers and neighbors were all in
attendance and they had a grand time.
Jigs and Rico took Angela to the poetry bar and she thanked
them later since she really enjoyed. She even got inspired and did a more fun
painting for the café which Jigs was happy with.
Although Mr. Sol had told Leah and Tiffany that he thought
he had only imagined seeing Rona, he continued going back to the place he had
seen her with her picture and asked everyone if they had seen her. Since Audrey
always accompanied him, he asked her not to tell Tiffany and Leah that he had
been looking for Rona since he did not want to worry them.
Leah had tried to tell Tiffany that they should tell their
father about their mother being alive since it was better for him to find out
from them than from anyone else. She was afraid that they might meet again in
accident but Tiffany said they were not going to do it since Mr. Sol’s health
came first.
Gabby had a project for school where he was supposed to draw
what he had done during the holiday. He drew a picture of him, Tiffany and
Adrian and he showed it to Tolayts. Tolayts was discouraged because he was not
part of the family but a neighbor told him not to stop pursing Tiffany until
there was a clear indication that he had lost her.
Clark was able to
book a seminar appointment at the church so that they could have their
wedding date reserved and Leah actually made it this time. She was happy that
her campaign was going well so she did not have much to worry about. At the
seminar, the speaker said something about keeping secrets from each other and
when it was over, Leah told Clark that she felt guilty about not telling her
father the truth. She said that she would try to talk to Tiffany again so that
she could convince her that their father needed to know.
Tiffany agreed that they would tell their father the truth
but on condition that Leah took her to see their mother first. Leah therefore
took Tiffany to see Rona and it was far from a pleasant conversation. Tiffany
said some harsh words to Rona for abandoning them for over a decade to chase
her American dream and she had left her to be the mother of the family because
she was the oldest. Rona tried to tell Tiffany that she loved all of them but
Tiffany told her that their father was the one who had loved them because he
was the one who had taken care of them even when he found it hard to cope
because she was gone. She stood up to leav and told Rona that she should have
just remained dead. Leah followed Tiffany and went to console her outside as
Brent; Rona’s son also consoled his
mother.
Tiffany went home to Gabby and Leah went to see Clark. She
told him that she wanted to forgive her mother but she could not blame Tiffany
for being angry because she too felt the same. We ended as Clark hugged her and
told her that it was okay to feel hurt but she would learn to forgive her
mother in time.
