DOBLE KARA Season 3 Episode 9 & 10

Episode 9

We started with Alex going to see Julio because she had found out that Barbara was looking for the nurse that she had paid to give Lucille Becca’s pin.

 She was frantic because she was scared that they would find the nurse and she would reveal the truth. Julio told her that he would help so that she could calm down.

Edward, Banjo and Sara decided to work together to look for Dina’s brother; Dante. When they got to where he lived, a woman pointed the right direction to them but said that Dante was not at home. As they approached the house, a car drove up and a man asked for Dante too. Sara approached him along with Edward and Banjo and they asked him why he was looking for Dante. He refused to tell them anything, got into his car and left. Sara suspected that the man was Seb’s investigator.

Kara picked up Becca and Hannah from school and asked the children if they wanted to do something fun because it was still early. Hannah suggested that they go to the mall but Becca said that she wanted to go to Club Felicidad first because she missed the people from there.

Kara took them to Club Felicidad upon Becca’s request and everyone was glad to see her there that they even performed a number for her. Since Sara was not there, Becca wanted to stay longer to wait for her but Hannah got bored and asked to go to the mall. Becca said that it was fine if the two of them went and she would stay at the club with Cynthia. Kara however disagreed and decided to stay there so that they could wait for Sara.

When Sara got back, she was happy to see Becca there and she also shared a meal with Kara as they talked. Kara asked Sara to focus on her case and Sara said that she was doing her best to prove her innocence.

Barbara finally met up with the nurse that had given Lucille Isaballa’s pin and she identified Sara Suarez as the person who paid her to do it. Julio had already gotten to her and paid her so that she could lay the blame on Kara. Barbara went to see Laura and Kara and told them what the nurse had said. Laura did not want to believe her and even accused Barbara of paying the nurse so that she could blame Sara. Barbara said that she had nothing to gain by doing that and gave them the woman’s details so that they could go talk to her.

Laura and Kara went to see the nurse and asked her to testify in court but the nurse refused to do it and turned them away. Kara told Laura that she felt as if the nurse was hiding something especially after she refused to testify.

Patricia dropped by the travel agency to see Julio hoping that he would consider giving her a job after he stopped her from going to the foundation. When she got to his office, she found Alex there instead and Alex had to explain that her brother gave her a job because she no longer worked at the foundation. Julio got upset when he found Patricia there and told her to go back home.

Seb had been trying to get hold of Alex because he was worried that she did not have anywhere to go. Kara told Seb that Alex was a grown woman and could take care of herself but Seb was still worried. Paulo overheard them talking and told them he knew where Alex was. Patricia had told him about seeing Alex at her brother’s office and Paulo told Seb about it.

Seb went to look for Alex there and asked her what she was doing there. Alex said that she and Julio became friends after he invested in the foundation so he gave her a job. Seb offered to find her another job so that she could leave the agency but Alex refused his offer saying that he was the one who fired her and threw her out of his house so he had no right to demand anything from her. Julio cut in and said that he would get Alex another job if her brother did not like her working for him. Alex told him that it was not necessary and asked Seb to leave her alone.

The nurse felt guilty for having lied about Sara so she went to see Alex and gave her back the money she got. She said that she would tell the truth and Alex went crying to Julio to help her.

Sara got desperate to look for evidence to prove her innocence so she and Banjo went to look for Dina’s brother again. They managed to find him but the moment he saw Sara, he ran off.

On the day of the hearing, Laura decided to stay on Sara’s side to show her support even after Kara asked her not to. Alex also went to the hearing and told Kara that she was there to support Seb and no one else.

When the hearing started,  the nurse was first to take the stand and when Seb’s lawyer asked her who had given her Isabella’s pin, she pointed Sara out and said that it was her.

Episode 10

Sara got up and said that the nurse was lying and she was asked to sit down. The nurse remembered being threatened by Julio’s men because her children were in danger and she had to go to court and testify against Sara to keep them from harm’s way. She therefore went on to describe how Sara went to the hospital and paid her to give the pin to Lucille saying that it was from her granddaughter.

When Sara’s lawyer proceeded to counter and examine the witness, he was able to discredit her by asking why she had gotten fired from the Mental hospital. The nurse said she got fired because she received bribes to give things to the patients and the lawyer alluded that she had received another bride to lie in court and lie about Sara.

Seb’s lawyer called another witness to the stand and he was Dina’s brother. He said that he used to hear Dian talk to someone on the phone about arranging the kidnapping and came to know that it was Sara later on. He even talked about the incident where he saw Sara and ran off because he was scared Sara was stalking him to make him keep quiet adding that if she was capable of kidnapping her own niece, she was capable of killing him too. Sara lost it and screamed at the man for lying and the judge had to ask her to calm down.

After the hearing, Kara could not help but get hurt at all the things that were revealed during the hearing and she sat there crying after everyone left. Seb went to check up on her and Kara said that she was hurt because all the evidence pointed to Sara and she did not want to imagine that her own sister could harm her. Seb told Kara that Sara still had time to prove her innocence and they had  to wait until the final verdict was given.

The hearing got Sara’s camp desperate since all the blame was being shifted on her and Banjo offered to testify in Sara’s favor along with Cynthia. Sara said that she was broke during the time that Isabella was kidnapped and Cynthia could attest to that because she was the one who helped her. The lawyer said that it was a good idea and agreed to set up a meeting with them and prep for their testimony.

When Alex went to the bathroom, she found Sara there and the two had to fight after Alex accused Sara of being a criminal for kidnapping Isabella. Sara wanted to slap Alex and Alex told her to go ahead so that she could add more charges to her case. Sara pulled her hand back and said she did not want to soil it by spoiling her since it was already clean. She however asked Alex to stick around and wait until she proved her innocence after which she would find the real culprit.

Alex went to see Julio after and was satisfied with how things were going. She however placed men to look after the nurse and Dante so that they would not change their minds and tell the truth.

Sara told Cynthia about her hunch that Alex was behind everything and Cynthia asked how Alexcould have the money to pay off so many people because she only worked at the foundation. Sara said that Alex must have an accomplice who was helping her.

On Friday, Sara went to get Becca at Kara’s house after failing to find her in school but Kara said that their agreement was off. Sara asked her why she had changed her mind Kara said that she found it hard to trust Sara and was afraid that she would run off with Becca. Sara was hurt by Kara’s mistrust and when Laura saw them talking, she offered to accompany Sara and Becca so that Kara would feel at ease. Sara however turned the offer down and said that she did not want to create any problems so she decided to leave without seeing Becca. She asked Kara to tell Becca that she had dropped by and adding that she hoped Kara would no longer keep her away from Becca after she proved that she was innocent.

Before Sara left, Laura went after her and asked her to wait for her to convince Kara to let her see Becca but Sara preferred to leave and not cause any more complications.

Kara went back inside and complained to Itoy because she felt as if Laura was taking Sara’s side. Itoy asked Kara not to think like that adding that Sara needed Laura’s support more.

Later that evening, Becca looked depressed because Sara did not go to see her and Kara played a spelling game with her for fun. Becca played along but she was still sad the next day so Kara told her that Sara had to do something important which was the reason why she did not visit her. Becca said that she was important too and she could not understand why her Momma had not gone to see her. Kara hugged her and said that she would be her Momma instead.

After the incident with Kara, Sara was more determined to prove her innocence. She went to see the nurse at her house and begged her to tell the truth since they both knew that she had lied. She said she did not want to lose her family and the woman took pity on her so she discreetly gave Sara and address so that they could meet and talk.

The men that Alex posted to watch over the nurse called her to tell her that Sara had visited and the nurse might tell the truth. Alex told them to make sure that Sara and the nurse were not able to meet.

The nurse got her children ready to take them their grandparents so that she could have time to see Sara but Alex’s men stopped her. We ended as Sara waited for the nurse at their meeting place.
