Barbara decided to leave the party and Seb followed her to
thank her for coming.
Barbara also thanked Seb for inviting her and putting
behind the animosity between them after what she had done to him and Alex when
they were children.
Back at the party, Kara thanked Sara for donating her bone
marrow to Becca but Sara said that she did not need to thank her because they
were one family and were there to support each other.
Laura and Itoy noticed that there were three mascots at the
party when they had hired only two but Itoy said that the third one had to be
Edward because he had surprised Becca at the hospital dressed as a mascot
before.
There was a magician at the party and he performed a disappearing
act using Kara. When Kara disappeared, she never got back become someone took
her. She woke up later to see a mascot in front of her and it was revealed to
be Alex after she removed the mascot’s head!
Alex was able to escape from the hospital after she woke up.
She hit her nurse and wore her uniform to disguise herself. She went to see
Lucille and Lucille promised to help Alex get her son provided she would leave
with Becca and Kara. Alex agreed and they left with Lucille and Gabo for the
birthday party.
Arellano called Seb to tell him that Alex had escaped and
they all had to get back to the hideout as they searched for Alex. Seb briefed
everyone and Itoy got the guests to
leave as well as the children. They noticed Kara was missing so Seb, stayed
back to look for her. He asked Sara to leave because she had a scheduled
surgery and Edward went with her.
Lucille found Laura alone and told her that she blamed her
for ruining her family. Laura agreed and said that it was her fault but asked
Lucille to forgive her.
Meanwhile, Alex took the microphone and announced that she
would kill Kara if no one brought her son to her. Sara and Edward did not leave
and went to look for Kara. They found
her alone and rushed to untie her but once she was freed, Alex and Gabo
appeared holding guns. Gabo hit Edward because he attacked them and he fell
down unconscious.
Seb arrived along with Lucille who had Laura. Alex ordered
Gabo to take Laura from Lucille. She then gave Kara a gun and ordered her to
kill Sara. She had learnt that Sara was Becca’s donor and the idea of Kara
killing her daughter’s only chance to live appealed to her. She said that if Kara
would not shoot Sara, Gabo would kill Laura and they could bury their mother
instead. Laura said that she was willing to die as long as her children were
safe.
Alex still insisted on having JR but both Sara and Seb told
her that they would never let her raise JR because of the kind of person she
was.
Seb tried to beg Alex to let them go but Alex told him that
he was the one who made her resentful by
not taking care of her. Seb told Alex that her anger was therefore because of
him so he asked her to let the rest go. Alex told Seb to kneel and he obliged
her as he begged her not to hurt his family. Alex said that his pleas no longer
moved her and proceeded to tell Kara to shoot Kara. Kara aimed the gun at Alex
instead and Alex dared her to shoot because if she did it, Gabo would shoot
Laura. Alex was distracted for a while and Kara switched with Sara so that she would be the one to get shot and Sara would remain healthy enough to donate her bone marrow to Becca.
Lucille was surprised with what was happening and she tried to plead with Alex too but Alex told her that she had only used her to execute her plans.

Alex became impatient and started a countdown from 10 and
told Gabo to shoot Laura if Kara (Sara) did not shoot Sara (Kara) by the time she was done.
Alex started the countdown but half way through it, Edward woke up. Seb
motioned for him to take care of Alex and by the time Alex was getting to the
last number, Seb attacked Gabo. Edward went for Alex and she managed to grab
the gun from Sara to defend herself. Sara got free and was about to leave with
Laura and Kara since Seb was fighting with Gabo but Alex fired the gun and shot
Kara in the back!
Everyone’s attention was on Kara who fell down and Alex ran
off. Seb went after her but when they got outside, the place was swarming all
aiming their guns at Alex. Seb asked them not to shoot and told Alex to
surrender. Alex did not want to and said that she would never do it. Seb told
her that he would take care of JR so that she would not have to worry when she
was apprehended. Alex made Seb promise that he would take care of JR and he
promised to do it. She moved her hand as if to fire her gun and all the
policemen fire at her. They showered an array of bullets on Alex and she died
on the spot.
Kara was taken to the hospital and underwent a critical
surgery because the bullet hit her liver. Sara also underwent an operation as
she donated her bone marrow to Becca.
They all recovered after a while and Becca got well. Edward
went to see Sara and said that he had something to tell her. Sara thought
Edward was heading back to Japan and quickly said goodbye but Edward said that
he was going to say something else. Sara asked what it was and he said that he
was going to get married. Sara was sad but quick to congratulate him but Edward
asked her whether she did not want to know who he was marrying. When Sara asked
Edward who he was marrying, Edward said it was her! He pulled out a ring, got
down on his knee and asked Sara to marry him. Sara said YES!
Lucille decided to go back to the mental hospital and get
rid of Antonio’s ghost so that she could get better. Barbara also apologized to
her for nurturing hatred in her. Kara and Seb went to visit Lucille and Kara asked
her to get better because there was a family waiting for her. Lucille also
apologized to Seb but he told her to forget everything because she was his
sister and they were family.
The entire family was now together and happy! (Seb and Kara,
Edward and Sara, Laura, Itoy, Andy, Becca,
Hannah, JR, Paulo, Patricia and Camille Rose) Both Sara and Kara were pregnant and it was
their joint baby shower. They talked
about how they did not want their children to fight like they did when they
were younger.
They were all in a celebratory mood and they took a family photo
to celebrate the occasion.
