We started with Waldo and Aryann going to the rescue site to
see how things were going.
Waldo asked King to go back home and tell their
father and grandmother about what was happening with the company.
Tristan watched the news of the ship sinking with Zach and
Chesca and he told them that Waldo had planned everything so that Tristan would
not be able to recover his company. Zach and Chesca both told him that Waldo
was incapable of doing such a thing but Tristan told them that Waldo did it to
pull him down.
Tristan went to see Mr. Raymond who was furious because of
all the merchandize that he had lost with the sinking of the ship. Tristan tried to calm him down and convince
him that everything was Waldo’s fault. He also added that he would compensate
Raymond for the money he had lost.
Armand left the
office of Raymond with Tristan and Tristan assured him that the scandal would
make Waldo fall out because they would put the blame on him. Armand was however
worried that Raymond would find out that they were the ones who had planted explosives
in the ship’s engine room and would make them pay for it but Tristan asked him
not to worry.
Tristan talked to the press along with the captain of the
ship; he had survived. The captain said that the engine started to overheat so
they tried to slow down to keep it cool but it kept getting hotter and it was
the reason that the ship exploded. He therefore blamed the ship manufacturer
BBM for the ship's accident.
At the rescues site, Waldo talked to the person in charge
and asked him to do everything possible to get retrieve everyone that was on
board the ship. Tristan arrived at the scene as well and blamed Waldo’s faulty
ship for the accident. He also told Waldo that they could never be the same and
Waldo agreed by telling Tristan that he was nothing like him. He told Tristan
that he would take responsibility for everything and help the affected people
but he would make Tristan pay for what he had done.
Waldo tried to send some relief efforts to the affected
families but they all rejected it and told him to go back to fishing since he
was no good as the leader of a company like BBM. One of the students; Marion who had
survived was rescued on shore and taken to the hospital. Marion watched the
news where Waldo was blamed for the incident, so he got out of the hospital even without being fully healed and returned
to Manila to help Waldo.
Meanwhile, Waldo started rethinking the reason why Tristan
was adamant on getting BBM to build him a ship instead of getting any other
company. He and Aryann came to a conclusion that Tristan wanted to sabotage
them and they started to investigate.
Raymond was thinking along the same lines when he
asked Tristan why he wanted to get BBM to build their ship when there were so
many other options. Tristan denied planning anything and brought the ship captain who was beaten up instead. Raymond however emphasized
that if he found out Tristan had sabotaged him, he would make him pay along
with his daughter.
Tristan asked Waldo for a 150 Million settlement for all the
cargo that he and Raymond had lost but Waldo refused to settle it because it
would make BBM bankrupt. He offered a lower settlement instead which Tristan
refused and asked her lawyer to set up a meeting with Waldo.
Kulas and Waldo’s grandmother told Waldo that his
relationship with Aryann was the reason Tristan wanted to get back at him and
his revenge scheme got a lot of people hurt. Waldo was hurt by his family who
chose to blame him and Aryann for the accident instead of giving him the
support that he needed. Aryann listened in on the exchange and when she was
going home, she asked Waldo not to drive her. She also told him a very sad
goodbye as if she would not see him again.
When Aryann got home, she told Aunt Rosing that she would
break up with Waldo because she was causing him a lot of problems. She wrote a
break up letter to him and had it sent to his office the following morning.
Tristan was afraid for Chesca because of Raymond’s threat so
he asked her to leave for America. Chesca did not want to but Tristan told him
that a syndicate leader was after him and had threatened to hurt her so Chesca
agreed to leave.
After the letter was already sent, Aryann told Aunt Rosing
that she could not bear to leave Waldo again because she loved him. She was on
her way out to see him before he read the letter when Chesca arrived.
Chesca passed by Aryann’s to tell her goodbye. Aryann wanted
to help Chesca so that they would not have to leave but some men went into
their house and drugged Chesca. Rosing was screaming when she saw them and
Aryann went to see what was wrong.
We ended with Waldo
reading Aryann’s break up letter and he was hurt to see that she had given up
on them…
