Episode 43
We started with Edward leaving Sara’s house after taking her
and Becca home.
Banjo had just arrived so he stayed behind to chat with Sara
for a while. He asked her if she was already back with Edward but Sara said
that they were no longer together. Banjo asked her why she was being nice to
Edward and Sara told him that getting along with Edward was good for her.
When Banjo went out with his friends later, he told them
that he should have started showing Sara that he was serious about being with
her instead of joking around because he might lose her to Edward now. He
however added that he would not give up on her.
Laura called Sara to
invite her for dinner since she had
prepared a lot of food hoping that Sara would bring Becca to visit them but
Sara declined the invite and told Laura that she was busy at the club. Laura
and the rest of the family therefore had dinner without Sara and Kara said that
she would pack up some food for the children at the foundation.
As they were eating, Paulo asked Seb if Alex (she was not at
the table) still worked at the foundation. Seb said that she still worked there
but she was no longer in charge of it. Alex arrived at the dinner table and suddenly
everyone realized that they had better things to do. Everyone left the table;
Laura, Itoy, Andy, Paulo, Kara and even Seb! Only Hannah who was oblivious to
what was happening stayed to finish her food. Alex sat down on the table and
tears fell from her eyes. Hannah asked her what was wrong and Alex said she was
not crying.
When Kara went to the foundation, she talked to Patricia
about her brother and Patricia said that it was true her brother had a Travel
Agency but he had nothing to do with Kara’s child or Dina.
When Julio got home that evening, Patricia told him about
Kara enquiring about him and she had told Kara that Julio had nothing to do
with it. Julio told Alex about Kara asking Patricia about him and Alex assured
him that she would deal with the situation.
Laura dropped by to see Sara at Club Felicidad and told her
about the incident with Alex and Julio. Sara shifted her suspicions from
Lucille to Alex.
Seb went to Sampaloc to continue her search for Isabella and
was fortunate enough to bump into Sara’s previous land lady. He showed her a
picture of Isabella and asked her if she
had seen her from 7 years ago. The woman said it was too long ago to remember
but she told Seb about a certain Sara who had a baby that same age at the time.
Seb asked her if it was Sara Suarez and the woman said that it was.
Seb called Sara and asked her to meet him at his house. Sara
went with Becca and she had to go upstairs as they talked. Seb told Sara that
he had found out she had lived in Sampaloc around the time that Isabella
disappeared. Sara reluctantly said she did live there and Seb asked her to help
them with the search. Sara refused to do it saying she was too busy and Kara who
was there as well told Sara that they would cover her wages for her to help
them but Sara still refused. Seb asked her if something was wrong which was why
she refused to help so then Sara agreed to do it.
Alex listened in on their exchange and after Seb and Kara
left, she thanked Sara for agreeing to help them. She added that she felt that
Isabella was just close by and Sara asked her if she knew something else. Alex
said that it was only a feeling and Sara said that once she found out who took
Becca, she would pay.
Becca ran into Hannah upstairs carrying her photo of Edward,
Chloe and Sara. Hannah took it from her and tore it up then told Becca to leave
because she was show off. Becca asked Hannah why she had torn up her photo but
Hannah shoved Becca and told her to leave their house. They were standing right
on the edge of the staircase so Becca fell down the stairs. She screamed for
her Momma when she got to the landing and Sara had to stop her conversation
with Alex.
Andy helped carry Becca to the car because she was injured
and crying. Sara, Kara, Seb, Itoy and Laura drove Becca to the hospital. Edward
called Sara and heard Becca crying so he rushed off to the hospital. Chloe was
at the office to see him and they went to the hospital together.
At the hospital, Sara was furious as she asked Kara to teach
her adopted daughter some manners. She even asked Kara whether she got Hannah
from a garbage place and threatened to beat her up for hurting Becca. Kara told
Sara that they needed to talk to find a solution to the issue and Sara told her
that she had decided that Becca would never go to Kara’s house again. They were
both on angry so Edward suggested that Seb and Kara leave before things got
messy.
When Kara and Seb got home, they both scolded Hannah for
pushing Becca off the stairs. Hannah said that it was an accident and accused
them of always taking Becca’s side. She added that she never felt their love
even if they insisted that they loved her.
Edward talked to Sara and asked her if she was fine. Sara
told him that she was not because as a mother, she could not give up no matter
how hard things got. She told him off the hardships she encountered in Japan
and Edward hugged her and told her that he would now be there to support her
unlike before.
Banjo was looking for Sara when Cynthia told him that she
had taken Becca to the hospital and he rushed over there. When he arrived, he
saw Edward embracing Sara…
Episode 44
Laura and Itoy decided to stay back at the hospital to check
on Becca’s progress. Chloe was there too and looked irritable so they kept away
from her. When the nurse submitted the test results on Becca’s examination, Chloe
had a look and saw that Becca’s blood type was AB.
The doctor went to see Edward, Sara and Becca and told them
that Becca only sustained a minor sprain and it would heal after some time.
Becca still complained of pain so Edward offered to give her a hug to take away
her pain. Becca thought it a wonderful concept and invited Sara to join in on
the hug too so that she could feel less pain. The three of the huddled up
together in a hug but it was broken when Chloe, Laura and Itoy went to see how
Becca was.
Later, Becca was discharged but not before Banjo saw her for
a few minutes. She asked him to go home with them but Banjo told her that he
had to go to work.
Edward took Sara and Becca home and refused to go home to
his apartment so that he could take care of them. He let Sara and Becca go to
sleep and he stayed on the edge of the bed watching them sleep.
When Becca and Sara woke up the following morning, Edward
was not there and they thought that he had already left. He however walked in
and invited both of them for breakfast. He carried Becca to the table and the
three of them had the breakfast that he had bought. Sara made Edward’s coffee
and he said that he liked that she remembered how he liked his coffee
Edward still did not leave and Sara told him that he could
go because he had to work. Edward told her that he had already called his
office and would stay to take care of her and Becca. Sara told him that she was
sick and could take care of her daughter but Edward said that he wanted to make
it up to them for the time that he had not been there.
Later, Sara talked to Cynthia and told her that she would
not give Becca away and Edward would help her do it.
Chloe met up with a friend of hers who was a doctor and asked
her if it was possible for Edward’s child to have a blood type that was AB
because Edward’s blood type was O. Her friend told her that it was not possible
because the only blood types for a parent with type O blood were A, B or O but not AB. She therefore advised
Chloe to have a DNA test done to verify the child’s paternity.
Seb and Kara punished Hannah for what she did Becca by
taking away all her dolls and toys and grounded her for a month. Seb also told
her to apologize to Becca if they saw each other at school.
To ensure that she kept Becca away from her, Sara went to
Becca’s school to get transfer papers. Kara saw her there and Sara told her
that she was determined to keep her daughter away from Hannah. Kara decided to
respect Sara’s decision but she asked her not to let the issues between them
get any bigger.
When Kara went home, she told the family that Sara was
serious about keeping Becca away from them that she had transferred Becca to
another school. Laura however said she would talk to Sara to see if she would
reconsider her decision.
Sara had left Becca with Banjo at the club and Becca told Banjo
that she was worried Kara and her Momma
had fought because of her accident so she was going to invite Kara to her
commercial launch so that they she and
Sara could make up.
Laura went to see
Sara at the club to talk to her about keeping Becca away but Sara told her that
she had to protect her daughter. Laura had noticed that Sara had been avoiding
them even before the accident and was only using it now as an excuse so she asked Sara if
something else was wrong. Sara told her it was only the issue with Becca.
Laura was however not convinced and asked Kara if she had
noticed that something else was wrong with Sara. Kara remembered the time that
she and Seb had asked Sara to help them look for Becca but she was reluctant to
do it.
Edward went to see Becca and found her humming. He told her
that he used to be in a band when he was younger and offered to sing to her.
Sara joined them and Becca asked her to sit so that Edward could sing for them.
Edward performed a lovely song for them but they were interrupted when Chloe
arrived. Edward decided to go buy some food for them to eat and Becca went with
him.
Chloe told Sara that it was time that they changed the child’s
surname since Edward had already acknowledged her but Sara said that there was
no need. Chloe asked her why she did not want to do it if Edward was Becca’s
father and asked her if he really was Becca’s father. Edward walked in then and
called his mother out for asking the same old questions. He asked Chloe to
leave because she was disrupting their bonding time.
When Chloe was outside, she saw Becca and offered to help
her fix her hair. She got her hair brush and brushed Becca’s hair as she
ensured that she got a few strands left on the brush to use as a DNA sample and
that was where we ended…
