Episode 41
We started with Seb getting a call from the police chief and
he asked him and Kara to go get the results of the DNA tests since they were
ready.
Seb picked up Kara from her shop and they went to get the results. They
were eager to learn if any of the children were Isabella but the officer told
them that neither of the children were a match. Kara was devastated from the news
but the officer told them that once the other children were released from the
hospital, they would perform DNA tests on the ones that were the same age as
Isabella.
Edward talked to his friends about Becca’s shoot and they
could not help but notice him gushing about Sara and how different she was.
They said that he might get back together with her and Chloe who had gone to
see Edward listened in on the conversation. She decided that she could not let
Edward and Sara get back together.
Sara took Becca to see Laura at Kara’s house after they left
Edward’s shoot. Sara asked how the search for Isabella was going and Laura told
her that Seb and Kara had gone to get the results from the DNA test. Sara said
that she wanted to take a nap upstairs so Andy asked her to get Hannah because
she had not eaten yet.
When Sara knocked on Hannah’s door, there was no answer so
she went inside. She called out to Hannah who did not answer so she closed the
door to leave but she saw the torn picture of Isabella on the floor. She
retrieved it and was stunned to see that she resembled Becca as a child. She
was standing dazed looking at the picture when Alex joined her. Alex asked Sara
what she was doing and Sara said that she was looking for Hannah. Alex noticed
the picture on Sara’s hand and gladly told her that it was a picture of
Isabella. She offered to show Sara more pictures of Isabella from a photo album
in the store but Sara said that there was no need.
When Seb and Kara arrived home, they told Laura and Itoy
that none of the kids were a match so they still had to continue looking for
Isabella. Laura said that Sara had visited with Becca and she was probably
asleep but Alex joined them and said that Sara was at the storage room and she
did not know what she was looking for.
Kara said that she would go see if she could help Sara with anything.
Sara got the photo album from the storage room and was able
to view a tone of photos of Isabella when she was a baby. She cried with the confirmation
that Isabella was indeed Becca but she wiped away the tears as soon as Kara
arrived. She had her back turned so Kara did not see her but she asked Sara why
her voice sounded shaky. Sara said that she was just affected by the dust in
the room and when Kara saw the photo album, she started talking about Becca.
She sternly told Sara that she would make sure that whoever took her daughter
away would pay. Itoy called them to go and eat since the food was ready so they
followed him.
Sara seemed on disturbed and on edge so instead of sitting
down to eat, she went to look for Becca so that they could leave. Laura asked
her to stay and eat with them but Sara did not want to. Itoy however got upset
because Laura had prepared the food for all of them but Sara wanted to go. Kara
insisted that Sara stay too and Laura had the final word as she told Sara to
sit down so that they could eat together.
Later in the evening, Becca joined Kara at the Balcony and
Kara told her the story of how she and Sara used to make a wish to the stars
when they were younger. Becca closed her eyes too and when Kara asked her what
she wished for, she said that she wished Kara would find Isabella. Sara watched
the exchange from a far but she intruded them and told Becca that it was time
to go. Kara kissed Becca on the forehead and wished her goodbye.
When Sara arrived home with Becca, Becca asked her why they
had gone home so early but Sara hugged Becca tightly and said that she never
wanted to lose her.
Banjo followed Delgado and saw him sell drugs to a client.
He then caught him and dragged him to the police station where he was put into
custody for selling drugs and Banjo hoped that Sara’s drug case would be
dropped now that Delgado had been caught.
When Banjo found Sara at the club, he told her the good news
about Delgado’s arrest but Sara had been crying and did not seem at all pleased
with the news. Banjo asked her what was wrong but she said that she was fine.
Madam Cynthia walked in and Sara told her that they needed to talk. Cynthia
asked Banjo to leave so that she could speak with Sara.
Sara told Cynthia that she had already confirmed that Becca
was Isabella. Cynthia told Sara that it was time she told the truth to Kara but
Sara said that she did not want to lose Becca. Cynthia said that it would not
happen because they could share Becca. Sara then told Cynthia that she was
thinking that someone must have planned for it to look as if she was the one
who had taken Becca and until she found out who it was, she could not tell the
truth because everything would point to her.
Seb asked Kara whether she had fought with Sara because she
seemed to quiet during dinner and Kara said they did not fight. She said that
they talked about Isabella which may have left Sara a bit sentimental. Kara was
still worried because they did not have any leads but Seb remembered the
Sampaloc address and told Kara that they did not exhaust their search there so
he would go back and keep investigating.
Episode 42
Alex woke up early and prepared a hearty breakfast for
everyone. She was setting up the table when Andy joined came in and asked her
what all the food was for. Alex said that she just wanted to prepare breakfast
for a change. Andy told her that it was unfortunate because Laura and Itoy had
gone out to see a client while Paulo had left already. Seb came down and
applauded Alex’s efforts but said that they had to leave since they had woken
up late. Alex asked him if they could have dinner later but Seb said he could
not since he had something to do later. Kara went down and told Seb that they
had to go since they were already late. After they left, Andy apologized to
Alex too and said he had an appointment. He took a hotdog from the plate and
thanked Alex. Alex was left in tears as she wished a happy birthday to herself.
Alex packed up the food and took it to Julio instead. When
Julio saw the food, he asked Alex what the occasion was and then guessed that
it was her birthday. He wished her a happy birthday and Alex started to cry
since he was the first person who wished her a happy birthday. She told him how
everyone at her house had forgotten about it and she expected at least Seb to
remember it but he didn’t because Kara and her family had taken all his
affection for her away. She told Julio about how Seb would always promise to
buy her a cake for her birthday when they were younger because they were poor
so Julio took her to a bakery and promised to get her any cake that she wanted.
Kara went to look for Alex at the foundation but she had not
yet arrived. She went to meet some donors and when she returned, Alex still was
not at the foundation. One of the workers there told Kara that Alex had not
been going to the foundation and some of the work was being neglected. Kara
called Alex to ask where she was and Alex said that she was at the foundation.
Sara met with Edward and told him that Becca would no longer
be doing his commercial. Edward told Sara to tell him if there was a problem so
that they could resolve it because his company might get sued for failing to
avail Becca. Sara agreed to let Becca do the promos for the commercial but she
told Edward that it would be under the condition that he stop seeing Becca.
Edward said that he could not do that because Becca was his daughter but Sara
said that she was the only one who knew what was best for her daughter.
Later, Sara went out with Andy and she subtly asked him
about the progress with the search for Isabella. She commented that maybe
someone was behind it all and asked Andy to get her the number to Lucille’s
hospital so that she could try to find out something. When she called, the
doctor told her that Lucille’s condition had not improved and that Babra
intended on transferring her to an American
hospital.
When Alex arrived home with her cake, she put it in the refrigerator
and Kara asked her where she had been. Alex said she was at the foundation
again but Kara told her that she had gone to the foundation twice but Alex was
not there. Alex said that she had gone out to take care of an issue and managed
to stop Kara from asking any more questions.
Seb arrived late at home and went to the fridge to get some
water. He saw the cake and realized that it was Alex’s birthday. He joined Alex
who was outside and apologized to her for having forgotten her birthday. He
said Happy Birthday to her but Alex told him that it was too late since it was
already past midnight. Seb asked if he could take her out the following day but
Alex refused and told him that she understood that he was busy then walked into
the house in tears.
The following morning, Kara saw Alex leave the house in a
hurry and followed her. Alex went to meet Julio for breakfast and when Kara saw
them, she decided to keep calm about it. She however saw Julio give Alex an
envelope full of money so she confronted them. She accused Alex and Julio of
being behind Isabella’s disappearance but they all denied it. Alex said that
she did not know that Julio was Dina’s boss while Julio explained that the
money he had given Alex was a donation for the foundation because his sister
was a volunteer there. He acted angry because of Kara’s assumptions and took the
money away from Alex and then left.
Sara took Becca to her rehearsal but she was in a brooding
mood which Edward noticed. He asked her what was wrong and Sara told him that
she did not want to lose Becca. Edward assumed that Sara was worried about
Becca getting famous so he told her that Becca would simply be busy. He later
complimented Sara for her change because he admired how committed she was to
her daughter. Chloe went to the rehearsal as well and gave Becca some shoes
that she had bought for her. Becca was delighted and asked Chloe to stay with
them so that they could all take pictures together.
Banjo asked Cynthia what was wrong with Sara but she told
him that it was not her place to say. She however asked Banjo to be there for Sara
as a friend.
When Edward drove Sara and Becca home later, Becca asked him
to stay. Edward gave Becca printed photos of the pictures they had taken
earlier. Banjo then walked in as the three of them were viewing the pictures
and Becca rushed to him to show them to him too.
When Kara and Alex got home, Kara told the family about
seeing Alex and Julio together. Alex defended herself with the Patricia story and
asked them to confirm if indeed Patricia was Julio’s sister. Kara told Seb that
she did not buy Alex’s story and Seb said that he would talk to her.
Laura and Itoy asked Paulo if there was a girl called Patricia
at the foundation and Paulo confirmed
that there was.
When Seb talked to Alex, he told her that she would no
longer be managing the foundation since she had been neglecting her work and
added that maybe it was time that she became independent. We ended as Alex
asked Seb if he was kicking her out of the house…
