We started with Clark asking Axle and Kiko to help him out
with a project.
He assigned tasks to them and asked them to do it during their
free time. He called Leah later and told her that he could not pick her up
since he had to work overtime at the café since their opening was due. Leah
told him that it was fine since he did not have to go pick her up all the time.
Angel arrived at the café and told Clark that she had another idea to paint
something for the café and since Clark thought it was a great idea, he asked
her to go ahead.
When Leah got home,
she left her bag on the table and it started ringing. Mr. Sol tried to call her
back to answer the phone but she didn’t hear him so he answered it instead. It
was Rona! She said, “Hello Leah?” When Mr. Sol asked who it was, Rona hang up.
Leah and Tiffany went into the room as Mr. Sol was hanging up the phone and he
told them that he had answered it since it might have been an emergency. He
asked Leah who the person was and Leah told him that it was an unknown number
so she did not know who it was too. She
told him that if it was important, the person would call again.
As Tiffany gave Mr. Sol his medicine, he told her that the
caller made him remember Rona since she sounded like her. Tiffany told him not
to think too much about it since it could not be. Mr. Sol told her that no
matter how long Rona was dead, he could not forget his voice.
Tiffany went to talk to Leah and asked her to keep her phone
away from their father and if she did not want to talk to Rona, she asked Leah
to give the phone to her since she had a lot to say to their mother. As they
were talking, Leah received a call from her boss asking her if she was at the
mall too since he had seen Clark there. Leah told him that she was not there
but her boss told her not to worry because Clark was alone. After the call, she
was alarmed because Clark had told her that she would be working overtime at
the café but she tried convinced herself and Tiffany that Clark had passed by
the mall to but some supplies.
Leah video called Clark when he arrived home since she
wanted to tell him that a voucher for a trip to Batangas had arrived from his
Mr. Tenement win. They decided to take both their families on vacation after
Clark was done with the café opening. Leah also wanted to ask Clark what he was
doing at the mall but in the end, she decided not to.
The following day, Clark called Leah to tell her that he
could not go to see her in the weekend since he still had to work due to the
café opening. As he told her this, Angela called Clark and Leah heard her voice in the background. She got
alarmed and asked Clark who the lady was. Clark told her that she was his
client’s daughter and she was helping him with the interior design. Angela kept
calling Clark so he told Leah that he had to go and hang up without telling her
“I Love You”.
Leah was not comfortable with this and things got worse when
her coworkers started talking about how men stopped paying attention to someone
once they were already together. Leah
asked for the signs and she was told that they stopped texting and started
cancelling on dates saying that they were busy. Leah reassured herself that
Clark was different and he was really busy.
When the weekend came, the entire neighborhood asked Leah
where Clark was and she got upset with having to say that he was not coming
because he was busy. She went to sulk to Tiffany wondering if Clark was already
tired of her but she received a text from Clark asking her how her weekend was
going. Leah’s sadness disappeared then and she jumped around in joy after
receiving that text from Clark.
Back in the USA, Jigs’ and Maggie’s friendship continued to
blossom. Maggie took Jigs out on a drinking spree and then asked him to take
her out for pizza after she helped Jigs get rid of an annoying customer. Jigs
took Maggie to the Pizza place that Leah used to work at and when they noticed
Leah’s friend who worked there looking at them. Maggie decided to give her a
show and sat next to Jigs. She kissed him and fed him Pizza as Leah’s friend
watched them.
Clark’s café finally opened and he took Leah to the event
with her as his date. He introduced her as his wife to both Diana and Angela. Angela was a little too familiar with Clark
and Leah got jealous. She was also intimidated by her beauty, she had to go to
the bathroom to collect herself and assure herself that she was beautiful too
and she was the person that Clark loved.
Clark’s grandmother arrived with his siblings and Clark’s
brother could not stop raving about how beautiful Angela was. Leah sat with
them inwardly dying of jealousy as she watched Clark talking with Angela and
her mother about the event.
After the event was over, Clark asked his grandmother and
siblings to go ahead since he wanted to go home with Leah. We ended with Angela
watching Clark and Leah leaving together…
