We started with Samantha asking Gael what kind of party he wanted for his birthday. Gael said he did not want a big party but Miranda and Hilary who were there too convinced him to have one. Hilary said she wanted to discuss his plans in politics while Miranda said they would make it a small event with just the Del Mundos. Gael asked them not to prepare anything because he already had plans.
Xander tried to convince Celeste to agree to help Senator Reinoso by testifying against Salvador. Celeste said she would not do it because Reinoso was only using them for his own gain.
On the day of Gael’s birthday, he went out for a picnic with Ana. She brought her grandmother’s stew, which Gael liked and bought him a simple gift. Gael said he always had grand parties but the one he spent with Ana was the best. Miranda suddenly called asking Gael to go to Salvador’s office because they had an emergency.
When they arrived, it turned out to be Gael’s surprise party but the guests were the ones shocked to see him arrive there with Ana. Gael introduced Ana as his girlfriend and when they went down to it, both Miranda and Hilary criticized her for being Gael’s girlfriend from being his nurse. Samantha ‘accidently’ spilled her glass on Ana and offered to help her wash the stain off in the bathroom. When they were there, Sam congratulated Ana but went on to say that she should have made Gael wait instead of giving in so easily. She also mentioned that Gael had a lot of aspirations in becoming a politician and his relationship with Ana might hinder that.
Back at the table, Hilary and Miranda hounded Gael for dating Ana. Hilary was worried about Samantha getting hurt and Gael said that they already broke up. Miranda said that Ana was only after his money but Gael said she was an honest person. He got upset and decided to leave the party as soon as Ana got back. On their way out, Ana told Gael what Samantha said about his political aspirations. Gael told her that his dreams changed when he met her because his family would try to dictate his life if he became a politician. He asked Ana not to give up on them and she promised to support him in whatever he decided to do.
The following day, Gael apologized to Salvador for leaving his party. Salvador too relayed his concern about Gael being with Ana. Gael however told him that she supported him and would make a good partner if he ever got into politics.
Miranda found out that Reinoso did have a witness against Salvador. She told Salvador about it and they decided to eliminate him before he made things worse for them.
The following day, Samantha went to see Gael and said she supported his relationship with Ana. She offered to help him with Miranda and Hilary so that they could accept Ana as well. She said that she was organizing a dinner party and asked him to invite Ana. She also offered to help Ana get ready for the event. Samantha then visited Ana at work and invited Ana personally. Ana said she did not know how to interact with the rich but Samantha said she had to get used to mingling with Gael’s friends as his girlfriend. She said that she would help Ana get ready and asked her to go to her house before the dinner.
When Ana went to Samantha’s house, Sam showed off how rich her family was. She also stayed true to her word and helped Ana by giving her an elegant dress. The dress had a long tail and had to be tied in a knot on the back. They also worked on her hair and dolled her up.
Celeste and Xander went to speak to Reinoso. He had been planning a press conference to expose Salvador but Celeste said she would not do it yet. She said that they needed more evidence against Salvador and the police could not be trusted since Salvador had a lot of influence. Xander said they could carry out the investigation themselves and Reinoso asked that they hurry it up before Salvador caught on.
When Ana arrived at the party, Gael was mesmerized by how pretty she looked. Hilary asked Sam why she invited Ana and Sam said that Ana would never show herself to them again after the party.
Miranda talked to Ana too and asked her to enjoy the party. She was however determined to get rid of Ana because she was ruining all the plans Miranda had for Gael.
During the party, Samantha asked Ana to dance but she did not want to. She insisted on it so Ana eventually got up to dance. Gretcha, Samantha’s assistant worked on loosening Ana’s dress while Samantha stepped on the tail. The dress came tumbling down, leaving Ana exposed in her under clothes. Gael rushed to cover her up with his coat and stopped the others from taking photos. Ana pulled up the dress and left with Gael. She turned back to see Samantha and Gretcha laughing and high fiving each other. That’s where we ended…
