Ikaw Lamang; Book two...

We cross over to the second season of the best show on Kenyan Television in great fashion after a
week of heart wrenching tragedy, revenge and excess drama on Ikaw Lamang. It has been a trying week for us as we have had to watch a good part of our favorite characters get written off after they died in a very epic series of events.


 We said goodbye first to Mona, then Maximo followed after Gonzalo did us all the favor of burying him alive as he tried to flee in a casket. (We all sang Hallelujah when he did so..) and today we had to bid the rest farewell after Franco pulled a titanic stunt and sank a ship headed to Manila killing Gonzalo, Rebecca, Elena and Samuel's grandparents who were all on board.
The second season will now start off 20 years later and with that also, we will loose the rest of the stars we have come to love, my favourite being Franco played by Jake Cuenca. He has been amazing to say the least and he has coaxed his way into being one of my favourite Filipino stars due to the fact that he takes his time to reply to my tweets on occasion. Franco's character will now be played by Christopher De Leon, Samuel by Joel Torre, Isabelle by Amy Austria Ventura, Natalia by KC Conception, Lupe by Rio Locsin and Calixto by Nonie Buencamino. We however are fortunate enough not to loose the stars, Coco Martin and Kim Chiu who will now play the characters of Gabriel and Andrea (who will be renamed Jacqueline). The new season will also credit Mylene Dizon, Dennis Padilla among others as some of the new characters who will be introduced.
