We started with Angelo and the people from the bakery ending
the meeting with the woman from the bank.
They were all pressured into looking
for an immediate solution before the bakery was fore closed. Angelo called
Lloyd and asked him to cash in on the deal they had made and show the proposal
to his father. Lloyd said he would do it once he saw his father the following
day.
David convinced Yna to agree to let Chelsea invest in their restaurant
and she agreed. David was so happy; he hugged Yna and pinched her cheeks until
she asked him to stop. Chelsea called David later and Yna asked David to go
because she did not want to take his time with his girlfriend.
Angelo and Ligaya went to their community service where they
had to coach the children. Angelo tried to talk to Ligaya about the incident with
her mother but she refused to talk about it. They continued in with their practice
game with no incidents and it went pretty well. Ligaya was a good basketball
player and after the practice session, the children said that it was fun to play
when Ligaya and Angelo did not fight. Angelo told them that he and Ligaya were
no longer fighting. He looked at Ligaya and signaled for her to agree with him.
He then asked everyone to join him for dinner the following evening and made
Ligaya agree to go there as well.
When Ligaya arrived home, she was still skeptical about her
truce with Angelo but Ichu convinced her that Angelo seemed sincere about it.
Chelsea went to Yna’s restaurant and asked for the chef’s
special. She then complained and said that the food was not good even if David
kept gushing about her. Yna asked her to try something else but she said she had
enough. Yna therefore told Chelsea to go elsewhere if she did not want the food
there and Chelsea made things personal by telling Yna that she should know her
place in David’s life because she could see that Yna was trying to steal him
away. Yna told Chelsea that she was David’s best friend longer than she was his
girlfriend and knew her place well. The customers at the restaurant told
Chelsea to leave if she did not like Yna’s food and Chelsea decided to go
because she was embarrassed.
Yna told Takong about the incident with Chelsea but said
that she would not tell David about it because she did not want to be the cause
of any problems between them.
Yna and Takong prepared for a tasting to present to David
and Chelsea. When David and Chelsea arrived, she introduced her to Takong
saying that she would be their restaurant manager in future but when Chelsea
heard that Takong had no higher education, she said that they should someone a
little more qualified. Takong was about to tell her off but David cut in and
enumerated all of Takong’s achievements proving that he was the best man for
the job.
When Yna presented the dishes to Chelsea and David, Chelsea
did not rave about it and simply said that it was okay. When she tasted desert,
she said that it was cheap and asked to be the one to look for a pastry
matching her standards. She also said that Yna’s food was not that good and
David confronted her. Chelsea said that she did not want to invest her savings
on something that was not good.
David visited Yna at home and apologized to her for what
Chelsea did. He brought flowers with him and made Yna promise never to let
their friendship get affected by anything. Yna accepted his apology which made
David attack her with hugs once again.
Ichu wanted Ligaya to dress up for dinner again but she
refused to do it. We learnt that Ligaya liked Angelo from when he first arrived
at their neighborhood. The animosity began when Ligaya approached Angelo on a
dating App and they agreed to go out together. When Angelo arrived though, he
paid for her drink and left without talking to her. Since Ligaya used a different
name on the app, Angelo never knew that she was the one he had stood up.
Angelo worked hard to prepare the food for the team and
since when Lloyd was there with them, he received a call from his father saying
that he read Angelo’s proposal and wanted him to take some samples in two days’
time.
In the evening, the children, Ligaya and Ichu arrived to
have dinner. Angelo made Ligaya sit next to Lloyd as they ate. Later, ants
crawled up Ligaya’s pants and when she went to the bathroom to remove them, she
fell on a bar of soap that Liya had dropped on the floor.
Ligaya was furious because she thought Angelo had played
another prank on her and she walked away in tears. Angelo followed her and
tried to get the issue solved. Ligaya told him about the dating incident and
how Angelo had not even noticed she was the one because she was insignificant.
When Angelo understood the situation, he apologized to Ligaya for their date
saying that he had to attend to an emergency with his father. He was never able
to explain things to her because she deleted the App and he simply forgot about
the incident. He said that he wanted to her friend now and gave her a
handkerchief to wipe away her tears. He then offered his hand to Ligaya and she
took it as an acceptance of his friendship. That was where we ended…
