Episode 63
We started with Elsa taking Marcy out to lunch to make up for
missing her birthday. They bumped into Lotlot’s mother who told Marcy that she
was sad about having Lotlot leave.
Elsa bought a lot of food for Marcy and later took her to have
a pedicure, then a hair makeover and Marcy got a nice haircut.
Mackie decided to call the man who had offered to give him a
job and the man asked that he go to his company the following day so that they
could talk.
At the hospital, there was a patient who came in and Doctor
Joselito asked her what her diagnosis was. Pinang was surprised but decided to give
her diagnosis after all. Dr. Joselito said that they would see and then proceeded
to treat the patient.
During Pinang’s dinner break, Phil called Pinang but before
he could say anything, Pinang said that she had to go. Dr. Joselito had been
paged because there was an emergency at the hospital. She refused to have
dinner with Miggy and Nars saying that the doctor might need his help.
When they got to the ward, the patient was under cardiac
arrest and flatlined so the doctor had to revive him. He asked Pinang for the defibrillator
and she hurriedly brought it to him. Pinang closed her eyes as if praying for
the patient and the doctor worked to bring the patient’s heartbeat back. He was
finally able to and then thanked Pinang for the good job. He however added that
next time, she should try not to be too emotional because it messed with her
presence of mind.
Julian and Mackie were at home when Marcy arrived and they
could not help but fuss over how good she looked with her new haircut. Pinang
wanted to hit her mother with her bag when she arrived home thinking it was a
thief but was delighted to find out that it was actually Marcy. She
complimented the haircut as she sat down to eat since she had not had any
supper yet and told her mother about what happened in the hospital.
When Phil called Pinang, he asked her if she would like to
miss him and admitted that he really missed her. Pinang refused to answer and
hang up after teasing Phil but he called her right back. Pinang told him that he
had reached his quota of making him smile and hang up on him again.
Phil called Julian and said that he would return to the
Philippines for to support him during the try outs. Phil also wanted to surprise Pinang so he
asked Julian not to tell her about his visit.
Mackie went to meet with the man who had offered him a job
and he asked Mackie to be his mechanic. Mackie told him about the job in Taiwan
and the man offered to give Mackie a starting salary close to the one he would
be earning abroad so Mackie decided not to go abroad after all. He met up with
Lotlot and gave her the good news that they would no longer had to leave. He gathered
the family up that evening and told them that he would not have to go and Marcy
was happiest with the news.
Julian’s tryouts were the following day and Pinang agreed to
go with him because it was her day off. Marcy
and Mackie were not able to go because they were busy while Emil was in a
Manila.
Phil had breakfast with his mother and told her that he
would go back to the Philippines to support his friend during his football try
outs. Chelsea got upset that Phil wanted to leave again and refused to it.
When Phil was returning to the Philippines, he tried to call
Chelsea but she refused to take the call. She felt guilty and called back and
Phil assured her that he would be back the following day.
At school, Yohan tried to provoke Julian and made a bet with
Margaret that he would take her to dinner if Julian failed. Margaret agreed
boldly because she was sure that Julian would make it to the tryouts.
Pinang went with Nars to the tryouts and they became Julian’s
prime cheering squad. Phil arrived in Manila but got stuck in traffic and
almost missed Julian’s game. Julian had a hard time as Yohan’s team fouled him
but he was able to get back and play. His team mates said that she had to score
a goal because he was their best player and Julian took up the challenge. The
coach told Julian’s team that if they won the game, then all of them would qualify
for the varsity team.
Phil arrived as the game was about to end but he was there
to see Julian score. Julian’s supporters were jumping around in jubilation and
Pinang hugged Nars. She turned and hugged Phil them immediately got surprised
when she realized that he was there. Phil told her that it was him and Pinang
touched his face to make sure. They jumped up and down happily as they hugged
each other.
Episode 64
The coach rounded Julian and his team after they won the game 3-2 and congratulated all of them for making it to the varsity team. All of them got team shirts with their names and Julian proudly showed his Crisostomo shirt to Pinang.
Pinang called Marcy to tell her that Julian won the game and
she decided to make them a nice dinner to celebrate. Julian changed from his sports
gear so that they could leave. Phil called Mum Dahlia and learnt that she and
her family were not in town. Since he had no where to stay, he said that he
would look for a hotel in town but Nars told him that he could stay at their house.
Chelsea went through Phil’s Facebook page and saw a photo of
him with Pinang. She checked through Pinang’s profile and realized that she was
Marcy’s daughter.
Once Julian was done changing, Pinang, Nars and Phil went
home and Marcy was surprised to see Phil back. He said that he had promised to watch
Julian’s tryouts and Marcy hugged him as she thanked him for training Julian.
Mackie was also back from work and he congratulated Julian for the win.
As they had dinner, Pinang could not stop gushing about how
good her brother was and Nars showed them a video of Julian scoring the goal.
Marcy held the phone as Mackie, Julian and Phil went around her to watch it. After
they saw the goal, Nars had turned the camera and there was a part where Phil hugged
Pinang. All their faces changed after watching that scene and Phil got nervous.
Later, Marcy asked to talk to Phil privately and informed him
that Emil had lifted the ban against him courting Pinang so he was free to court
her. Phil was super delighted and could not help smiling. Marcy however warned
him against hurting her daughter and Phil said that it was never going to
happen.
Marcy asked Phil where he would stay since Dahlia was not
around and Phil said that he would just check into a hotel. Mackie thought it
was too late and Phil might not get a hotel and Marcy agreed with him so she
let him stay at Grandpa Apo’s room. Everyone including Phil wondered if it would
be okay and Marcy assured them that it was not a big deal. She made the bed
with the help of Mackie, Pinang and Julian.
Phil and Pinang could hardly sleep because they were rooms
apart. Mackie stayed up on guard.
Phil called Pinang to say that he wanted to see her face before
they went to sleep and they both left their rooms to wish each other good
night. Mackie and Julian said good night too and Pinang hurried back to her
room embarrassed.
Phil was really happy spending the night at Pinang’s house
and he texted Chelsea to tell her that she should visit the San Isidro because
she would love it there. Chelsea texted back and said that it was never going
to happen.
In the morning, both Pinang and Phil had extra big smiles.
Phil said that he would be going back to Singapore since his flight was at
midday and Marcy invited him to have breakfast with them. Phil wanted to take a shower and Pinang
hurriedly got him a towel. Julian told him that they bathed in a queue and went
to the bathroom first. Phil and Mackie waited outside and Mackie told Phil that
he was no longer going to leave for Taiwan.
Badong, Arsing and Roger saw Phil in the bathroom and they
all rushed to him when he got out. He however told them that he was returning
to Singapore.
After breakfast, Pinang asked Phil when he would be back and
he told her that if it was up to him, he would stay with her forever. He had
promised Chelsea that he would return so he had to keep his promise. He
therefore told Pinang that he would be back as soon as he would. Phil then
asked to have a picture with everyone because he was not sure when he would be
back. Mackie offered to go with Phil to the bus terminal because it was on the
way to his work.
When they got there, Chelsea called Phil to ask if he was
really going back to Singapore and Phil said that he was on his way to catch
his flight. Chelsea was surprised that he had actually kept his promise and
Phil told her that he had changed. Mackie heard Phil and when he got off the
call, Mackie told him that it was good to keep his promises so that he would
not hurt the people he gave them to.
Pinang was sad to see Phil leave but she told Miggy and Nars
all about Phil staying over when they were at work. She also got to see the
good side of Doctor Joselito when he gave his food to a patient.
When Phil arrived at his house in Singapore, he was
surprised to find Chelsea waiting for him. She complained because he did not
call her but Phil told her that he had only arrived because his flight had been
delayed.
Chelsea told Phil that her friends had planned a trip to
Cambodia and she wanted him to go with her. There would be no power or wifi connection
and Phil had a hard time accepting the offer but he finally agreed to go for his
mother’s sake.
Phil called Pinang after she got home from work and told her
that he would be going on a trip with his mother and they would not be able to
talk because there was no connection there. Pinang was sad but said it was fine
because it would give him time to bond with his mother. Phil however said that
a disconnection from the world and with her so he would miss her. That was where
we ended…
