Asintado Episode 7

We started with Gael hiring a private investigator to look for Ana. Miranda told him that he should continue living his life without her but Gael said that he needed to find her so that she could explain why she had lied to him.

Samantha went to see Gael too and he was drinking while thinking of Ana. He told her that he felt like a fool for loving and trusting Ana. He also asked her to console him and not to leave him alone.
Meanwhile, Salvador tried to regain his popularity after his reputation was tainted due to his involvement in the death of senator Reinoso. He denied the claims and said that he would not run for office again in the coming elections because he wanted to protect his family. He added that he would continue to serve the people because he did not need to be in office to do so.

Celeste and Xander brought Ana to her house to recover but she was already in a coma. Xander also suggested that they recruit more members to help them take down Salvador. Celeste said it would not be easy to recruit others to help with their cause and Xander said they would be willing to do it since they too were Salvador’s victims. They recruited Mona and Yvonne, the daughters of Gregorio Calata. Mona was a teacher and black belt holder while Mona was a doctor. They also got Chito, the son of Eric Salazar who was a computer genius. The three joined Celeste, Xander and his uncle in the fight to take down Salvador. Miss C (Celeste) made it clear to them that their mission was not revenge but justice for all the people that Salvador had hurt.

Six months later, Ana woke up from her coma. She was hysterical after remembering what happened to her and Vicente. Miss C asked Mona what was wrong with her. Mona said that it was normal for coma patients to be confused or dazed after waking up. In Ana’s case, Mona explained that she was suffering from the trauma of what happened to her. Ana wanted to find her family and tried to get out of bed but she fell on the floor. She could not move and Mona said it was because she was still weak from her injuries. Ana was shocked to hear that she had been in a coma for 6 months. Mona told her it was normal and she would soon recover after therapy.

Xander was eager to speak to Ana and ask for the evidence that she had against Salvador. Miss C stopped him and asked him to let her recover since she was still emotional.
Things were going well for Salvador as he was elected senate president. He also filmed a documentary with Rowena, an online journalist who was a supporter of his advocacy. Salvador however told Miranda that he was worried about people remembering his involvement with Reinoso. He wanted to do something that would be more impactful in cleaning his image and Miranda said that she was working on it.
Salvador, Hilary and Miranda had dinner with Gael and Samantha to celebrate Salvador becoming senate president. Gael and Sam had been seeing each other ever since Ana left and Hilary wanted to know if they were planning on getting married. Gael said that marriage was not in their plans and they were just enjoying themselves. (This content belongs to Kenya meets the Philippines and should not be posted on any other pages.)

Hilary later asked Samantha if she was okay with her situation with Gael. She was worried since there was no commitment or assurance. She did not want Gael to hurt Samantha. Samantha assured Hilary that Gael would not her since he now knew who really loved him after what Ana did to him.
Ana was in her room when she heard Salvador’s speech on the TV. She crawled from her room to smash the TV and lashed out at Salvador for killing her father. Miss C went to calm her down and asked her to trust them because she asked to be taken to the police to report him. Miss C told her that she had to stay with them because her life was in danger. Xander got upset and told Ana that she could not do as she wanted because they were now responsible for her.
Miss C had a meeting with the others and apologized for the TV. Mona suggested that they not get another one for now so that Ana would not have to see Salvador. Miss C also asked the others to give Ana some space because she might get overwhelmed if she saw all of them.
Samantha saw Gael’s new secretary when she went to see him at his office. Gael said she was efficient but Samantha did not like her so she asked his HR manager to follow him.
Rowena, the reporter who documented Salvador’s story was kidnapped by a terrorist group. The group had also kidnapped a foreign couple. Miranda and Salvador watched it on the news and Miranda said it would help the public to see the importance of Salvador’s advocacy against criminality.
Mona helped Ana with her therapy so she could recover her mobility. Ana said she was eager to see her family. Mona told her that Miss C was already looking for them. Ana said she wanted to find them soon so that they could expose Salvador for what he had done. Mona said it would not be easy and instead asked Ana if she knew anyone who she could trust to help them. That’s where we ended…
