Jenylyn Mercado is one of the recognizable Filipina faces on Kenyan Televison although it has been a while since we watched any of her shows. Among the ones we've been able to see include Little Star which she did with Mark Anthony Fernandez and Secret affair with rumoured boyfriend, Dennis Trillo. Both shows were production of the Kapuso network, GMA which Jenylyn has been with for 13 years now.
Recently however, Jenylyn Mercado has made news with rumour swirling around that she was going to transfer to GMA's rival network, ABS-CBN due to her recent stint in which she starred in a movie produced by ABS-CBN's outfit for movies, Star Cinema. She did the movie alongside Kapamilya (ABS-CBN) heartthrob John Lloyd Cruz which was titled 'Just the three of us'.

Adding on to this, her last three movies (including Just the three of us) Jenylyn has been paired with Kapamilya artists as her leading mean. She did Walang Forever with Jericho Rosales for MMFF's 2015 entry last year and also did The Prenup with Sam Milby for Regal entertainment also in 2015.

A few days ago however, Jenylyn finally put the rumours to bed as she extended her contract with GMA in a public signing that was dubbed #TheUltimateStar and she posted a picture with her GMA bosses who were present at the signing, captioning it;
"This is where i belong. I will be forever thankful to my home network and for as long as they want me, i will stay. #kapuso."

I don't know about everyone else,but i was pretty psyched about her potential move but we just have to wish her the best as we hope to see more of her shows on our screens.
