Episode 3
We started with Kara asking Sara what the kidnapper’s phone
was doing in her bag. Sara was puzzled and said she knew nothing about the
phone.
Kara said it was too much that her only defense was that she did not
know about it. She asked Seb to call the police and tell them that they already
had evidence against Sara. Alex arrived and found all of them at Sara’s room
and Sara accused her of being the one who planted the phone in her bag but Alex
said that she did not do it since she had just arrived.
Hannah talked to Alex about her parents finding Isabella and
Alex asked her how she knew. Hannah said that there was a reporter who went to
talk to them during their picnic.
Later, Andy was with Becca outside but they were bombarded
by a team of reports who wanted to know how Isabella felt after being reunited
with her parents. Kara went outside too
and the reports blatantly asked her in front of Becca how she was
handling the news that her own sister was the one who had taken Isabella. Kara
asked them to leave while Itoy and Andy helped her disperse the reporters.
Seb was at the police station handing over the phone that
they had found in Sara’s things. The lawyer however told Seb that it was still
circumstantial evidence and it did not prove that Sara was the one who
kidnapped Isabella. As they were talking, Seb saw the news about Isabella and
had to rush back home.
Babra also saw the news of Kara finding Isabella.
Becca was confused about what the reporters said so she
asked Kara if it was true that she was her lost daughter. Kara told Sara that
it was time they told Becca the truth and Sara told Becca that she was
Isabella. Becca cried and said that she was not Isabella and refused to let
Sara take care of her. Laura took her away to rest and asked Sara and Kara to
let the child get some space.
Hannah was not happy to learn that Becca was actually
Isabella so she packed up her clothes in a little bag and wanted to return to
her aunt but Kara saw her just before
she left. Hannah said that she was going back to her aunt because Kara now had
Isabella and would not love her anymore. Kara assured Hannah that they loved
her too and there was no need for her to leave.
Kara went to check on Becca and made the mistake of
reffering to her as Isabella but Becca screamed at her and said that she was
Becca and not Isabella.
In the evening, Sara went to look for Becca to try and talk
to her but she was not in her room. She alarmed the entire house hold and they
all went out to look for Becca. Itoy and Laura returned home first after
failing to find Becca and they found her behind the stair case. She had not
left the house after all and they called Sara and Kara to tell them that Becca
was in the house.
Seb was able to confront the reporter who leaked the story
about Isabella and asked him how he got the information. The reporter told Seb that
her received the tip from an anonymous source and apologized for the distress
that the news caused his family.
The following day, Sara tried to talk to Becca as she sat
outside on the veranda. Becca only sat there with tears in her eyes as Sara
assured her that she would always love her. Kara tried to chat with Becca too
and showed her a photo album of when she was a baby but still Becca did not
talk to her. Seb was the last to try
with his guitar and tried to play a song for Becca but she was not interested.
Kara and Seb visited the psychiatrist again and asked how
best they could deal with Becca’s situation and they were told to be patient
with her as she learns to accept the situation.
Sara went to the club to talk to Banjo and Cynthia and she
told them about her fear of Becca losing her affection for her. Cynthia told
Sara that it would not happen because they all knew that Becca adored Sara.
Sara went back home and asked Becca to go out with her for a
while but Becca was still in a mood. Sara said she knew that Becca was upset
with her but insisted on taking her out for a while.
Episode 4
Sara took Becca to the club and surprised her with her
favorite song number. Everyone at the club joined in as they sang and danced
together for Becca. Becca smiled and even joined the dance. After they were
done, Becca said that she wanted them to go back to the life they were used to,
just the two of them together with their friends at the club but Sara said that
they could not since she now had to stay with her parents.
Kara went to look for Becca in her room but she was not
there. She was immediately alarmed and told Laura about it. Laura said that she
was probably with Sara and tried to contact her. Sara did not answer the phone
and Kara almost called the police because she thought that Sara might have
escaped with Becca. Laura asked her to wait as she called Cynthia to ask if
Sara and Becca were at the club and Cynthia confirmed that they were there.
Laura was about to leave for the club with Kara when Sara
arrived back with Becca. Laura took the child upstairs as Kara confronted Sara
for taking Becca without her permission. Sara said that she only wanted to
cheer Becca up because she was sad but Kara told her that she now had to
remember that Becca was not her daughter and she could not take her out as she
pleased.
Later, Kara told Laura that she was hurt every time she saw
Becca with Sara and she feared that with Sara in the house, she might never get
a chance to be a mother to Becca. Sara overheard them and later told Sara that
it was not Kara intention to hurt her and she had decided to leave the house so
Kara could get closer to Becca. She also promised to prove her innocence and
hoped that Kara would let her be with Becca after everything was over.
Julio seemed disturbed by Patricia’s behavior ever since she
returned from the foundation’s retreat and suspected that she had a boyfriend so
he asked Alex to look into it. When Alex went to the foundation, she coaxed
Patricia to tell her if she had a boyfriend and Patricia said she was too busy
with her work at the foundation and at school to have one; adding that her brother
would not like it. She was reviewing for her exams at school so Alex asked
Paulo to help her with it.
Seb had the phone’s finger prints checked and the only
prints on the phone were his and Kara’s because they were the ones who had
touched the phone after retrieving it from Sara’s bag. This therefore meant that
they still did not have enough evidence against Sara. When Seb returned home
told Laura along with Itoy, Andy and Paulo about the findings and Alex arrived
home just after he said it. She asked to get an update but Seb refused to tell
her!!!
Sara received a the subpoena to appear in court for her
hearing and Edward met with her lawyer to know the progress about how things
were going.
Sara told Laura that she was leaving the house to give Kara
a chance with Becca and she woke up early to leave before Becca woke up so that
she would not have to say good bye to her. Unfortunately, Becca went down
stairs just as Sara was about to leave with her luggage and asked where she was
going. Sara had to tell Becca that she had to stay with her parents but Becca
cried and begged Sara to go with her. Sara hugged her goodbye and asked Itoy to
take care of her. Kara watched the emotional farewell with tears in her eyes as
she saw once again just how much Becca loved Sara.
Alex was upset with Seb for refusing to tell her the latest
news about the case so she hired some men to steal the lawyer’s files. She got
to learn that the finger prints were
negative for Sara and she needed to find something new to make her look guilty.
Sara settled back in her apartment with Laura’s help and
then met her lawyer to prep her for her hearing.
Kara surprised Becca by buying her toys and dolls but Becca
told her that she did not need to because she was not fond of toys and her
Momma always said that it was more important to eat. She took out her brush to
comb her hair and Kara asked if she could do it. Becca gave Kara the brush but
asked for it back after two strokes. Kara asked her why she had asked for it
and Becca said that Kara did it differently from how her Momma brushed her
hair. Kara watched how Becca brushed her hair and asked to do it again adjusting her style
to suit Becca. We ended as Kara brushed Becca’s hair…
