DOLCE AMORE Episode 7

We started with Tenten arriving in the nick of time just to save Serena from Mr. Mossman.

 Serena’s drink had already been spiked and she was about to take a sip but Tenten shoved it away from her hand and it fell on the floor. Mr. Mossman asked what Tenten was doing and Tenten called him a rapist for trying to take advantage of Serena. Mr. Mossman punched Tenten but Tenten hit him back and tried to attack him but Mr. Mossman’s body guards stopped him. Serena tried to get Tenten to calm down and asked him to leave but Tenten said that he would not leave her alone with him. Mr. Mossman told Serena to leave with Tenten adding that their deal was off.

After Serena left with Tenten, he tried to explain that Mr. Mossman’s driver said always took advantage of ladies and drugged them so that he could rape them. Serena told Tenten that she could take care of herself and it was not his duty to take care of her because he was not her friend but only his driver. Tenten apologized to Serena for having overstepped his boundaries since they were not friends but Serena was still upset because the damage had been done and Mr. Mossman had already backed out og their deal.

When Tenten dropped Serena back at her hotel, she told him to return the car and get paid. She asked him not to return for the job because she would be getting a new driver who was more civil and not prone to fighting.

As Tenten drove the car back, he complained to himself because he had only tried to help her. When he got home, he was sulky as he told his family about the incident with Serena.

Back in Italy, Gian Carlo was a guest at an Italian show that featured bachelors and he said on air that their company was set on merging with the Marchesas so that they could help them with the crisis that they were having. He did this without asking for his father’s consent but he argued that his father would have to support his decision because he was the heir of the De Luca Company.

When Roberto and Luciana saw the interview, they were happy that they now had a chance to save their company. Roberto called Serena and she said she was not able to convince Mr. Mossman to invest with them but she would still try to convince him. Roberto told her that there was no need to do it because Gian Carlo just announced that he would help them with a merger.

Serena called to Gian Carlo after talking to her father and thanked him for offering to help them. She tried to apologize to him for how things went during their lunch meeting that they were supposed to be betrothed but Gian Carlo asked her not to do it because he was the one to blame after he refused to tell her about his feelings for her.

Later, Luciana called Serena to check up on her. Se gushed about how Gian Carlo was determined  to help them even without his father’s consent and told Serena that it was a testament of his love for her. Serena said she would try to make things work with him once she returned to Italy but asked to stay in the Philippines a few days more.

Luciana met up with Gian Carlo and told him the good news that Serena was impressed with his gesture and she might just fall in love with him.

Serena had fried rice for breakfast at her hotel after remembering her nanny. She then visited the orphanage that Simon used to be in and told the nuns there that she was looking for him. The nuns told her that Simon was already adopted but he usually visited the orphanage to see the other children. Serena wanted to get his address but the nuns said that they were not authorized to give away such personal information so Serena left her hotel address instead and asked them to give it to Tenten.

Tenten packed some stuff and went with Mummy Taps to visit the children at the orphanage. When they got there, the nuns told them that Tenten’s childhood pen pal had been there and they had just missed her. Tenten went out to look for her but he did not see her and ended up getting her hotel address instead.

It bothered Tenten that Serena was in the same hotel that the madam he drove for was in but his family said that maybe the hotel was popular among Italians. Tenten was still skeptical to look for Serena because she had stopped writing to him long ago. Taps however convinced Tenten to go see her and talk to her. Tenten got dressed up well and went to see Serena at her hotel.

Serena was waiting for Simon to go see her and she called the nuns to ask if he had visited. The nun said that they had already given her address to Simon and asked her to be patient since he would contact her. As she was watching the news, she saw that Mr. Mossman had been arrested for drugging another girl and raping her. It was then that the phone rang at the receptionist told Serena that a certain Simon was looking for her.

Tenten had a rose ready to offer to Serena but the moment she saw that they was the same person as his Italian lady boss, he his himself and that’s where we ended….
