Episode 21
We started with Julio leaving the travel agency and going to
meet his men who had one of their creditors in captivity because he had refused
to pay the money that he owed.
Julio met his men at a warehouse and beat up the creditor for
trying to escape. He told the man to transfer all the property he had to his
name and let him go. Julio’s men caught Diego with his camera sneaking around
and taking pictures and they took him to Julio. Julio took the camera from
Diego and asked him who he was working for after he saw numerous photos of him
in the camera. Diego did not talk so Julio punched him. He tried to beat him up
to make his talk but Diego kept quiet. Julio told him that if he did not want
to talk then he could leave and Diego took the bait. When he turned around to
leave, Julio pulled out his gun and shot three bullets into Diego’s back.
Assuming Diego was already dead, Julio told his men to dump the body.
Laura visited Sara in prison and she asked about Becca.
Laura said that she was fine and was getting back to her old bubbly self. Sara
wanted to send a video to her but Laura said that it was better to give Becca
time to be with Kara. She asked Sara not to misunderstand or think that she was
taking Kara’s side but they needed to let Kara and Becca get closer to each
other so that she would no longer be confused.
After Laura left, Sara was talking to her cellmates about
her daughter when Rona arrived. She told Sara that she wanted to help her keep
in contact with her daughter so she gave Sara her phone. Sara was confused but
still took the phone and thanked Rona for giving it to her.
Sara called home and it was Laura who answered the phone.
She asked if she could talk to Becca but Laura was a bit hesitant. Becca found
Laura on the phone and asked to speak to Sara. When Becca got the receiver, she
apologized to Sara for not sending her any videos because she had been taking care
of Kara. Sara told her that it was fine but added that they might not talk to
each other in a while. Becca asked in Sara was upset that she was spending time
with Kara but Sara told her that it was not the case. She explained that Becca
needed more time with her parents and Hannah and only wanted her to be happy.
Becca asked Sara if she was giving her away as she cried and Sara said that it
was not so and assured her that she would always love her.
Kara was amazed at Sara’s willingness to let Becca go since
she anticipated that Sara would try to make things harder for her and
Becca. Laura told her that Sara had
changed and what she really wanted was best for Becca.
Barbara tried to get hold of Diego by calling him but he did
not answer. Julio’s men dumped Diego in a forest and some children found him
when they heard the phone ringing. Diego was taken to the hospital since he had
not yet died and the police contacted Barbara since she was the last person to
have contacted Diego. They took her to the hospital where Diego was and she was
told that he was found with multiple gun shots. The doctor added that Diego was
now in a coma and they did not know when he would wake up. Barbara told the
police that she had hired Diego to trail Julio so he was most likely the person
behind Diego’s accident.
Back in prison, Rona brought the guards in on an impromptu
check to see if any of the inmates had something that they were not supposed to
have in prison. She had not taken the phone from Sara and although Sara tried
to explain to the guard that the phone belonged to Rona, the guard dialed the
last number called and Laura answered it by calling Sara’s name. Sara’s friend;
the grandma in jail also said that the phone was hers so both Sara and her were
punished for it and made to clean.
The following day, Sara and grandma were denied food at the
canteen under Rona’s orders so Sara confronted Rona. Rona beat up Sara for
acting tuff saying that she was the reason Rona’s escape plan failed but Sara
fought back and told Rona that she had failed to leave the prison because she
was a bad mother. After Rona left Sara alone, Nancy and Kengkay tried to
convince Sara that she should not fight with Rona but Sara told them that they
were all prisoners so they were all
equal and neither of them should have any power over the other.
Julio was upset because of the incident with Diego and
especially because he did not know who had ordered him to follow him hence he
did not know who the enemy was. He told Alex this and she told him not to worry
since she would handle the situation.
Alex went to Kara’s house and waited outside. She saw Laura
leaving and followed her. Laura went to meet with Barbara who gave her an
update what had happened to Diego. As they were talking, Alex sent one of her
men to listen in and he came back to tell her that the investigator was in a
coma and that the police were on their way to Julio’s house. Alex told him to
go back and listen to what they were saying then made a phone call.
When Laura came back home, she revealed to Kara and Seb that
she had been seeing Barbara who was helping her with Sara’s case since she too
was not happy with how things turned out. She also told them about Diego’s
shooting and Julio’s involvement.
The police went to see
Julio at his house and they asked him about his involvement in Diego’s
shooting. Julio said that he did not know who Diego was and as they were
talking, Alex arrived. She demanded to know what was happening and after the
police briefed her, she said that she could prove that Julio was in the office
the entire day during the time of the shooting.
Episode 22
The police asked Alex and Julio to take them to the travel
agency so that they could view the CCTV footage. As they were on the way, Alex
texted the video editor that she had hired to edit the videos at the agency to
make them seem as if Julio had been there the entire day. He told her to give him
one more hour so that he could finish the editing and Alex was at a loss with
what to do. She started acting as if she was nauseated and wanted to puke so
Julio asked the police to stop at a gas station so that Alex could go to the
bathroom. Alex took her time stalling and managed to stall them until the
editing was done. When they got to the agency, the CCTV footage showed that
Julio was in the office so there was no way that he could have been involved in
Diego’s shooting.
As Seb was leaving the house, he heard Andy and Paulo
talking about Julio’s gun. Seb asked them what they were talking about and
Paulo told him the truth about seeing Julio with a gun.
Seb went to confront Alex about Julio having a gun and
shooting Diego but Alex told Seb that Julio had already been cleared of that
accusation and that his gun was licensed. She told him that she loved Julio
because he had integrity and asked him to let her live her life since he had
asked her to stay away from him and his family. Seb tried to reason with her
but she left fuming.
Patricia was concerned about Julio and she asked him why the
police were looking for him. Julio told her not to mind it because he had
already been cleared adding that she should stay away from Paulo since all he
wanted from her was to get information about him so that his family could
continue harassing him.
In prison, Rona tried to attack Sara again after she learnt
that Sara was inciting the other inmates. The rest of the inmates however
defended Sara and since they were more than Rona and her goons, she had to back
down. Sara told Rona that all of them were equal and only had each other so
they had to make life easier for one another while they were in prison.
Laura visited Sara in prison and told her about Diego’s
shooting and Sara was convinced that Alex was involved. She asked Laura to make
sure that Alex stayed away from Becca.
Alex talked to Julio about Seb inquiring about his gun and
he was worried that Seb would start investigating him again. Alex said that she
would go visit his place and see what she could do. She asked Julio about Diego
since they were worried that he would talk once he woke up and Julio told her
that everything was handled.
Julio sent some men to kill Diego and they managed to kill
him by posing as garbage collectors. They injected a drug in Diego and he had a
heart attack.
Alex went to Seb’s house and when Kara told her that Seb was
not around, she said that she would go talk to Hannah instead. Alex was upset
because she thought that Hannah was the one who told Seb about Julio’s gun. Hannah
said that she did not do it since she knew Alex would be upset and Alex
wondered how Seb had known.
After Sara managed to get some equality in prison, she was
able to call home. When Laura answered the call, Alex came down stairs and
talked loudly asking how Sara was. Sara was alarmed to hear that Alex was in
the house but she had to hang up since her time was up.
Barbara then arrived to tell Laura that they had no evidence
because Diego had died of a cardiac arrest. She lost it when she saw Alex there
and asked what she was doing there. Alex told Barbara that she was the one who
was out of place because she had no family there. They traded words and Alex
called Barbara a murderer because she had refused to help her mother when she was ill.
After the incident, Kara and Seb were more determined to get
their children away from the chaos.
Alex complained to Julio about Barbara and he told her that
he would help her deal with Barbara because she had helped him a lot.
Paulo sneaked in to see Patricia again and she asked him
whether he was trying to keep in contact with her so that he could get more
information about Julio. Paulo told her that it was not the case and that the
reason he did not want to give up on her was because he had feelings for her.
He asked her if she felt the same about him and she said she did. Paulo said
that he would not pressure her and all he wanted was to know if she felt the
same way.
Rona lost her position in prison after Sara confronted her and
no one was afraid of her any more. Sara befriended her trying to establish a
semblance of peace for everyone.
Kengkay learnt that her mother was getting worse and would
not be alive for long so she begged Sara to help her leave prison. Sara was on
edge about Alex too so she decided that they would escape so that she could
learn the truth about who really kidnapped Becca and framed her. Nancy and
grandma joined them and when Rona heard them talking, she offered to help them
since she knew the prison well and already had a plan. Sara and the rest were skeptical
to trust her but they eventually allowed her to join them since she also had
contacts outside to help them escape.
Banjo visited Sara in jail and noticed that she was on edge
after she asked him to tell Becca that she loved her. He asked Sara what was
going on and Sara had to tell him that she was planning to escape. Banjo was
surprised at first but then asked Sara what he could do to help her. Sara did
not want to involve him but Banjo said that he was going to help her whether
she liked it or not. That was where we ended…
