We started with Sarah calling Serena to tell her that Tenten
did not show up for their date.
Serena arrived at Tenten’s neighborhood to find him chatting
with his friends who the all scurried away when Serena approached. She asked
Tenten why he had not gone to his date while Sarah had waited all night for
her. Tenten said that he was caught in traffic and his phone had run out of
battery, which is why he was unable to call her and cancel. Serena told him that
it was a lame excuse and he had to tell her why he had failed to go. Tenten
told her that all he had to do was tell her that he did not want to go and
Serena said that he should have said that before instead of agreeing to the
date. She was very upset and asked him why he was being difficult since she was
tired of guessing. She wanted to know if it was because of the girl who denied
him but Tenten said that he didn’t even like her. He then blurted it out that it was because of her
that he had refused to go.
He told her that he did not understand why he had to fall in
love with her of all the people in the world. He said that his world slowed
down and he heard the birds sing whenever he was with her. He added that even
if his mind refused to accept the idea, it was still her that his heart yearned
for. Serena was surprised and asked him to stop joking because they were having
a serious conversation and Tenten told her that he wished he was joking.
They went to sit by Tenten’s house and Tenten told her that
he did not know when he had started have these feelings for her, but he was
sorry since he did not want to burden her nor did he expect anything from her,
all he wanted was to tell her the truth. Serena told him that it did not matter when he started to love her
since he could not go back in time to undo it. He lightly joked that it was her
fault because it was so easy to love her. Serena told him that it was his fault
because he fell in love easily. She then apologized to him since there was no
way she could be with him even if she wanted to because she had already
promised to give Gian Carlo a chance. Tenten told her that since he had
surmised that it was possible to teach a heart how to love; it was also
possible to teach it to forget. He told Serena that he wanted to keep being
friends with her but he wanted her to give him sometime so that he could try to
forget her and maybe fall in love with someone else. There were tears in their eyes as they talked
and Serena finally gave tenten a hug. She woke up to leave but before she left,
she told Tenten that it was not hard to love him too. Tenten went into the
house and was comforted by his family who were inside eavesdropping on the
entire conversation.
Roberto had a face chat with Nanny Melds and when he saw
Franco with him, he thought that Franco was Serena’s friend. Nanny Melds
corrected him and said that Serena’s friend was her Penpal friend from the
orphanage. When Roberto told Luciana about this, she asked him to tell Serena
to stay away from Tenten.
Gian Carlo hang out with Franco when Serena was gone and he told him that he felt as if it had been a
mistake for him to follow Serena to the Philippines because instead of being
with her, he was stuck spending time with him. Franco felt hurt by his comment
but Gian Carlo insisted it was not in bad faith since Franco was good company.
However, he was not the woman that he wanted to spend his life with.
Serena walked into the hotel room feeling upset after her
conversation with Tenten. She walked past Gian Carlo and said that she wanted
to be alone. Gian Carlo left her and booked another room where he stayed with
Nanny Melds and Franco.
Serena called her father to tell him what had happened with
Tenten and he told her that since Tenten had chosen to stay away from her for
both their sakes, it was fate reminding her that she had promised to give Gian
Carlo a chance which was what she should do.
Later, Serena called the reception to ask if Gian Carlo had
left a message for her and she was told that he had booked into another room
together with her friens. The receptionist also told her that she had seen him
walk outside so Serena went to look for him. She found Gian Carlo playing
basketball with guys outside but he got hit by the ball and hurt himself.
Serena took him to her room to take care of his wound and he told her that he
wanted to learn about basketball because he had realized that she liked it. He said
that he wanted to learn all the things that made her happy.
In the morning, Serena had breakfast with Nany Melds, Franco
and Gian Carlo and they asked him how things went with Tenten. Serena told them
that she realized that she had been pushing Tenten to forget about the girl he
liked while he clearly was still in love with her. She added that she would
leave him alone and focus on Gian Carlo. She asked if they were going to Bohol
but Franco refused and asked that they go somewhere else. Gian carlo had a new
place he wanted to see so they agreed to go there.
Meanwhile, Tenten woke up feeling jovial as if all was right
in the world. He made breakfast for Binggoy and his father then left for work
screaming that he still had a life to live. Dodoy then asked Binggoy if Tenten was on drugs because he was too
happy. Tenten was just trying to keep his mood up and keep from sulking after
his conversation with Serena. He had a good day at work too and JJ commented
that Tenten was the happiest heartbroken person he had ever met. Later, Tenten
went to the bathroom and promised himself that he would get through the
heartache.
Binggoy and Dodoy were worried about Tenten’s behavior but
they decided that he was strong enough to get through the heartache.
Tenten went on a date with Sarah after all and was having a
great time with her when Serena walked into the same restaurant with Gian
Carlo, Nanny Melds and Franco. We ended with Serena completely awed by the
sight of a laughing Tenten and his giggling date who could not stop laughing at
Tenten’s jokes.
