We started with Eduardo receiving a subpoena regarding their
alleged involvement with Mr.P’s gambling ring. Claudia was cited as well and
they had to go to court.
When they talked to their lawyers, they were told that they
could not travel because of the court order. The lawyers said that if they were
found guilty, all their properties would be seized by the government and
accounts frozen because they would be considered ill-gotten wealth. Eduardo was
worried about this so he asked that the lawyers make sure that Angelo and
Liya’s accounts were secure so that they would remain protected.
Claudia had been forced to sell her businesses; including
Casa Corazon to pay off the debts that Buena Corp had accumulated. Angelo
therefore had to let go of the staff at Casa Corazon because they no longer
owned the resort. Buena Corp still in debt and hoped to meet with the lending
company in order to negotiate how they were going to settle the huge debt.
Yna received a letter from the American culinary institute
that she had applied for and she was accepted! David took her to fulfill the
requirements that she needed before she left for the US.
For the final job at the Casa, Angelo and his staff prepared
food for the people at Buena Corp and the lending company. Claudia was
confident that they could work out a solution so that they could have more time
to settle their debt. Unfortunately, it was Amor who walked into the meeting
and announced that she was the owner of the company. Claudia could hardly
believe it and she was so mad after realizing that Amor had tricked them so she
went and slapped her. Amor recovered fast and slapped Claudia three times. She
then said that those slaps were not enough to pay for the debt that they owed.
She said that all their businesses now belonged to her because they could not
pay the loan and adjourned the meeting.
As soon as Amor left, Claudia fainted and had to be rushed
to the hospital. Claudia blamed Eduardo for having an affair with Amor and it
was the reason why they had lost everything. Eduardo was there but he left the
room as soon as Claudia mentioned Amor.
Diego and Angelo walked outside and Diego asked Angelo not
to worry because his mother would be fine. Angelo said that what Amor had done
showed that she had harbored her anger for too long so there might be some
truth to what she said but Diego told him that Amor was not telling the truth.
Eduardo went to see Amor at her house and asked her whether
she had planned everything to take revenge on him. Amor proudly said that it
was true because it was nothing less than what he had planned on doing to her.
He reminded Eduardo of how he said he had tried to get closer to her to
manipulate her for the sake of his family and ambitions. Eduardo told Amor that
Claudia only let her hear the first part because he had ended by saying that he
loved Amor and he had made a mistake by choosing Claudia. Amor laughed at
Eduardo’s confession of love and said that whatever Eduardo experienced was not
enough to pay for all the pain she went through. Eduardo said that if hurting
him would make Amor feel better, then he was willing to take everything she had
in store for him but he asked her not to drag his children into it.
Amor cried a lot after Eduardo left and Yna and David saw
her when they got back. Yna told Amor that she was there to listen if she was
willing to talk. Amor asked Yna if it was wrong for her to get payback for what
happened to her, her family and her daughter. Yna said that she was in no
position to judge Amor because she did not know why she had been hurt but she
knew Amor was a good person.
Amor was arrested later after they proved that he had signed
papers for fake projects and he was taken to prison.
Claudia’s lawyer told her that she might get arrested as
well and Claudia was frustrated. She went
to confront Amor for what she was doing and Amor only laughed after
asking Claudia whether she really was the one to blame. She told Claudia that she
was the one who started everything when she watched as Diego raped her and kept
quiet for 20 years just so she could live a prestigious life as Eduardo’s wife.
Claudia was thoroughly humiliated by Amor and left in tears.
When she got back home, she told Angelo that she wanted him
and Liya to go to the US for a while with Diego too and she would follow.
Angelo said that he would not go and asked Claudia why she wanted them to run
away. He said that he was starting to think that Yna was telling the truth and
Claudia slapped him. She left without answering him.
Later, Claudia went to Buena Corp and was surprised to find
new employees there. Leonara arrived and
informed Claudia that she was the new C.E.O of the company after Amor and the
board elected her then threw Claudia out of the building! We ended as Claudia
cried outside…
