Episode 39
We started with Laura asking Kara and Sara to stop fighting
because they were both on the same team.
She also told Sara that she had done
something wrong by going to Julio’s house and Sara said that she had no other
way of getting hold of Julio’s gun.
SPO1 Arellano received the confirmation that the camera that
Barbara had taken to him belonged to her investigator Diego Mendiola.
Julio seemed disturbed in the evening and when Alex asked
him what was wrong, he said that he thought Patricia acted a little weird with
him earlier. Alex told him that he could check the CCTV cameras that he
installed in the house to see if something was wrong.
When Julio was going through the footage in his office,
Patricia interrupted him and he moved from his laptop to go talk to her. He
told her that he loved her and that was all she needed to know. When he got
back to the screen, Sara’s part was already past.
The following day, Patricia sneaked into Julio’s room and
took his gun from the safe. She went with Paulo to the police station and
handed it over to SPO1 Arellano for a ballistic report. Patricia was sure that
it would prove Julio’s innocence and that was why she gave the gun up.
Paulo took Patricia to the Acostas and they told them about
handing over Julio’s gun to the police. Everyone was grateful to Patricia for
giving the gun to the police and Kara even apologized to Sara after scolding
her for going to Julio’s house because Sara was able to convince Patricia to
give the gun to the police.
When Julio got home, he went to his safe and did not find
his gun. The nanny said that she did not go into his room so Julio reviewed his
CCTV. He saw Patricia go into his room and when she got home, he asked her
about it. Patricia denied taking the gun but admitted taking it after Julio
showed her the CCTV footage. Julio said that he would not get mad as long as
Patricia told her where she had taken the gun. Patricia said that she did not
have it and had taken it to the police for a report. Patricia told him that there
was no big issue because Julio was innocent but Julio told her that people
wanted to drag him down and they would do anything to frame him for the crime.
Julio told Alex about Patricia giving his gun to the police
and they had to leave before the police went to arrest him. Alex was furious
because all their plans were destroyed and they could not get married. She
wanted to go attack Patricia but Julio told Alex that he would not let her
attack his sister.
Julio got the CCTV videos removed from his house and asked
the Nanny to take care of the house when he was gone. He also asked Alex and
Patricia to pack up so that they could leave.
Seb went to the police station to ask Arellano if there were
any updates and when he was there, Arellano received the photos that were
recovered from Diego’s camera. Julio was on them and this proved that Julio was
the last person that Diego had been with; hence the one who had killed him.
The ballistic report from the gun arrived as well and it was
a match with the gun used to kill Diego. With this, Arellano had enough proof
against Julio so he got an arrest warrant and went to arrest him.
Julio had everything reader to leave but Patricia refused to
leave with him. Julio told Alex to stay behind and convince Patricia to leave
with her since the police could not arrest her. He left first before the police
got to his house but Arellano and Seb spotted him on the highway and started to
follow him.
Seb had called Kara to tell her that he was accompanying the
police to go arrest Julio and Sara rushed out of the house to join the chase as
well. Kara left with her.
When Julio noticed that the police were following him, he
got out his gun and started to fire at them. The police fired back and hit
Julio’s car. He got a flat tire and had to pull over in the middle of the
bridge. Julio and the police fired at each other and Julio got hit. Arellano
approached to arrest him but Julio jumped in the river.
Alex managed to forcefully drag Patricia in her car even though
she did not want to leave. Patricia tried to get Alex to stop the car but Alex
paid no attention to her. Patricia strangled the driver and he had to stop the
car. She got off and started to run off when Kara and Sara saw her. Alex got
out of the car to get Patricia but when she saw Kara and Sara, she started to
run on the opposite direction. Sara ran after Alex and caught her. She asked
Kara to call the police so that they could have Alex apprehended but Alex cried
out in pain while clutching her stomach. She said that she might lose her child
so Kara, Sara and Patricia drove her to the hospital.
When they got there, Alex said that she wanted some water so
the nurse left. Kara received a call from Seb and went to receive it so that
she could get an update on Julio. Sara and Patricia followed her and Alex took
the chance to escape. Before she left the hospital, she got a call from Julio
asking her to help him. Julio was able to swim out of the river and bought a
phone from a young boy. As soon as he called Alex, he fainted.
Alex rushed off to look for Julio and found him huddled in
pain. She called her driver and asked him to go get them.
Episode 40
Arellano and Seb went to the hospital to give them an update
on Julio. Arellano said that the police were still looking for Julio but they
had a hard time because it had already getting dark.
Alex’s driver arrived and they were able to take him to a
secluded clinic. When the doctor went to treat Julio, he noticed that it was a
gunshot wound and was about to ask how Julio got it but Alex got out her gun
and told him to treat Julio without asking any questions.
The doctor removed the bullet from Julio’s body and then
told Alex that they needed to get him in the hospital because he did not have
the right equipment to have him treated well. Alex pointed the gun at him and
told him to do everything he could to treat Julio without taking him to the
hospital. The doctor said that he needed to get some things from when his
office but when he inside, he called the police. Alex heard him and went to
stop him. One of Julio’s men who had joined them went to help her and the
doctor fought back. Suddenly, there was a gun shot and the doctor fell down.
Julio had gotten up from his bed and shot the doctor using Alex’s gun. They then
ran from there before the police arrived.
Sara and Kara took Patricia to their house and consoled her
since Julio had not been found. Patricia was worried that something bad might
have happened to Julio and she cried saying that it was her fault for giving
away his gun. Paulo told her that she had done the right thing because they
were able to stop Julio from committing any more crimes. Laura told Patricia
that she could stay with them before Julio was found but Patricia said that she
preferred to go home incase Alex returned with news about Julio.
Arellano received the report about the shooting at the
clinic. A witness said that a wounded man
had arrived at the clinic accompanied by a woman and with the
description she gave, there was a possibility that it was Alex and Julio.
Arellano found the bullet that the doctor had removed and had it undergo a
ballistic examination to verify that it was his team who had fired it; hence
confirm that Julio had been treated there.
Seb had tagged along with Arellano at the crime scene and
when he got home, he told his family about how Julio had killed the doctor who
had treated him and everyone was in awe of how inhuman Alex and Julio were.
Julio and Alex went to their hideout and Julio was able to
rest. The following day, he realized that his wound was getting an infection
and he might not make it. Alex was sulking because they were supposed to be
getting married that day and out of nowhere, Julio decided that they would get
married as they had planned. He asked his men to get the mayor so that he could
perform a civil wedding and but Alex a dress.
Julio then called Patricia using her Nanny’s phone and said
that he wanted to talk to her. He asked a driver to go get her and take her to
the safe house. Patricia was worried to see Julio wounded and asked Julio to
surrender. Julio said that he would never do it because he did not want to go
to jail and apologized to Julio for what he had done. He asked her not to worry
because he would make sure she would remain protected.
When Patricia was returned home, Paulo was waiting outside
for her. She told him that she had been to see Julio and intended on turning
him in to the police because she wanted him to get the treatment that he
needed. Paulo called Seb and they told him where Julio was hiding.
When the mayor arrived at the hideout, Julio said that he
had to marry them because he had helped him get elected. The mayor married the
two of them in a hurry before anyone found out he was there. Julio also talked
to his lawyer to make sure that he left his papers in order for Patricia, Alex
and his child to be protected.
Before they could celebrate getting married, Arellano
arrived to arrest Julio. Julio asked Alex to get away but Alex refused to leave
Julio alone. Julio therefore asked his men to take her.
Julio went outside aiming his gun but then he cried out in
pain and collapsed. Alex saw this and came out of hiding. Arellano arrested her
for harboring a criminal and also arrested Julio.
Julio was taken to the hospital and a guard assigned to him
as he recovered. Alex was taken to
prison and Arellano pressured her to reveal all of Julio’s secrets. Their
lawyer however arrived in time to show the marriage certificate to Arellano. It
is illegal for a wife to be made to testify against her husband so Alex could
not give Arellano any information against Julio. The lawyer then set to work in
order to bail Alex out.
Sara, Kara and Seb went to the police station to find out
how things went and they were furious when they found out that Alex and Julio
got married so Alex could not be made to testify against him. When Alex left
the interrogation room, Sara slapped her and told her that she would not wiggle
her way out of justice forever. Alex said that they would never be able to win
against her. Sara still wanted to attack Alex but Seb held her back. We ended
as Alex left them…
