We started with Clark and Leah at the bar. Leah encouraged
Clark to look for a girlfriend since her green card was already approved and
they might have to go back to their single lives soon.
Leah told him that since
they did not know anyone in that town, he could date someone else. Clark told
Leah that he was not interested but Leah insisted. She approached a girl who
was alone at the bar and told her that Clark was single and would like to go
out on a date with her. The girl said that Clark was cute and gave Leah her
number. Leah also gave her Clark’s number and asked the girl to call Clark if
he did not do it.
When Clark and Leah got back to the house, Clark asked Leah
if she wanted him to sleep on the floor or should they share the bed like they
did back home. Leah told him that the house had many rooms and they could each
take separate bedrooms. Clark was disappointed as he watched Leah go into her room.
He walked over to the door and almost went in but backed up and went to his
room. When he walked in, Leah left her room but went back in. When she returned
to her room, Clark left his. He was half way across the corridor but went back
to his room and the little game was over.
The following morning, Leah was taking care of the plants and
shouting at them that she was not in love with Clark. Clark caught her
midsentence but Leah refused to repeat what she had said. She helped Clark wipe
of the sweat from his back and asked him if he had already called the girl from
the bar. Clark said that he did not call girls; they called him. When Leah was
done, Clark’s phone rang! It was the girl from the bar and she invited Leah out
for a drink that evening. Leah told him to have fun and refused to go with him.
Clark asked her multiple times if she was sure about letting him go on a date
and Leah said she was perfectly fine because it was her idea in the first
place.
Clark took extra care getting ready and wore cologne. Leah
complained that he did not wear cologne when he was with her and Clark said that
he was trying to look good for his date. Before he left, Leah asked him to go
back and Clark thought that she was going to ask him not to go but Leah only
asked him to leave his wedding ring behind.
After Clark left, Leah started feeling insecure about letting
Clark go on a date and feared that he might start liking the girl. There was a
noise at the house and Leah got afraid so she rushed off and went to the bar.
Clark could barely concentrate on the girl that he was out
with because he kept staring at the door expecting that Leah would walk in.
When she finally did, he broke into a smile because Leah tried her best to hide
herself so that Clark could not see her. Clark excused himself and approached
her to aske why she had gone to the bar. Since Leah could no longer hide she
told Clark that she had gone to the bar because she heard a noise at the house
and could not stay there by herself. She asked Clark to go back to his date and
not mind her; which he obliged
When Clark went back to his date, he paid attention to the
girl this time around just to make Leah jealous. He leaned into her to talk to
her but his face immediately changed when a guy approached Leah. The guy
invited Leah to play pool with him and Leah agreed.
As they were playing, the guy stayed too close to Leah and
Clark’s attention shifted again. He kept looking at them and left his date
talking to herself. Leah excused herself to go to the bathroom and Clark
followed her. He told her to stop flirting but he denied being jealous when
Leah asked him if he was jealous. They both decided to go back to their dates
but Clark wanted to put an end to the game so he agreed to leave the bar when
his date asked him to.
When Leah realized that Clark had gone, she left the bar and
immediately and saw a car pull off. It was raining and she thought that Clark
had left but he suddenly appeared behind her and tried to cover her with his
jacket. They started arguing but Clark told her that he was never going to
leave her. He let go off his jacket and kissed her. They were interrupted by a
car passing by and when the moment was over, Leah told Clark that she wanted to
go to San Fransisco.
The next day at work, Leah told her friend that she was
falling for Clark but she had promised Aunt Jack that she was not going to fall
for him. Clark told the same to Cullen adding that he thought Leah had feelings
for him too but he had promised Jigs that he was not going to fall for Leah.
Cullen however told Clark that the heart could not be taught who to love and
encouraged Clark to go for it. Clark said that maybe he was just reading into
things and Leah was not really in love with him.
Clark went home early so that he could celebrate with Leah
after she got her green card. They went out to the park and Clark asked Leah
when she was planning to move out but Leah was busy day dreaming about Clark
asking her to marry her again. When she got back to her senses, they both
agreed that they would live together until Leah’s green card arrived then
decide later how they would proceed with things. That was where we ended….
