We started with Andrew trying to hit on Joy at the party
since Angelo and Lloyd were not at the table.
Joy shoved him aside and told him
to stay away from her. The issue caused a commotion and Lloyd’s father went to
see what was going on. Angelo went back to the table to see what was happening
and Andrew lied that it was Joy who had been hitting on him. He said that he
would never do that to Lloyd so their father kicked Joy and Angelo out of the
party. Lloyd wanted to go with them but his father told him to stay back.
Angelo and Joy were escorted outside by the guards but once
they were outside, Angelo noticed that Joy did not have her shoe. He decided to
go back into the event to look for it and the nice guard let him go in.
Yna was told that someone wanted to meet the chef because
the food was good so Yna left the kitchen to talk to the guest. After she was
done, she went to see whether the food at the Buffet table was enough and she
was checking the pots when she bumped in someone. Angelo had been snooping and
hiding while looking for Joy’s shoe so that Mr. Garcia would not see him. He
got up from the table he was hiding under and tripped Yna. He got up quickly to
catch her before she fell and the two finally saw each other. Yna was out of
his hold the moment she realized it was Angelo and walked away without saying a
word to him.
Angelo found Joy’s shoe and took it to her. He looked disturbed
and Joy thought that it was because they had lost their chance with Mr. Garcia
so she apologized for messing things up. Angelo did not speak but only walked
away.
Chelsea and David went to look for the pastry shop they
wanted to supply their cupcakes. They found Sir Greggy, Kabayan and Monay there
and they let them sample the cakes. Both of them loved the cakes so they
offered Sir Greggy a deal to supply the pastries for the restaurant that they
were about to open.
Yna was in tears after seeing Angelo and she drove home in a
daze. When she arrived, she found David waiting for her because he wanted to
tell her that they had found a pastry shop but Yna hugged him. David asked what
was wrong and Yna said that she was only tired and needed a hug. David
therefore asked her to rest and they would talk the following day.
Angelo arrived home in deep thought and apologized to
everyone for failing to make a deal with the Garcias. Greggy, Monay and Kabayan
told him not to worry because they already had a new client who wanted to
invest half a million in their shop.
Takong woke up Yna late in the day since she had not yet
left her bed. He asked whether Yna was still sulking over Chelsea and she told
him that she had met Angelo the previous day at the party and it felt as if all
the pain she had experienced two years ago was back. Takong said that if she
was still affected by Angelo, then it meant that she still had feelings for
him.
Yna met with David and Chelsea because they wanted her to
try the pastries before drafting the contract but Yna said that if they both
liked the cakes then she trusted them. Chelsea was happy to hear this so she started
drafting the contract. David asked Yna if she was fine and she said she had no
problem then left for work. David was not convinced and called Amor to tell her
about it.
Joy tried to apologize to Angelo again but he told her not
to worry because they already had a new client. Later, Lloyd dropped by and
apologized to Angelo for what happened at the event. He also told Joy that he
was sorry for being persistent and now accepted that the two of them could only
be friends.
Ichu asked Joy to
dress up more so that Angelo would like her. Joy agreed and went to the bakery
looking more polished but Angelo barely noticed. He asked her to decorate the
cakes and then left.
Angelo went to prison to see Eduardo because he wanted a
confidence boost while meeting the
clients that wanted to invest in their shop.
Greggy, Monay and Kabayan went ahead to the contract signing
where they met Yna. David and Chelsea were there as well and when Yna tasted
the cakes, she told David that they were the same ones she had been talking
about. She asked if Mr. Greggy made them but he said that it was Gelo; Angelo’s
nick name. He asked them to wait for him because he would be a little late.
After visiting the prison, Angelo went straight to the restaurant
and was surprised to be introduced to Chef Yna and David as the new investors.
Everyone noticed the awkwardness and familiarity between the three of them and
Greggy asked if they knew each other. Angelo said that they all lived in Punte Verde
before.
They sat down and Angelo continued to show them his
pastries. Yna went quiet and David said that he wanted to discuss something with his partners first
before signing the deal. That was where we ended…
