We started with a
young girl covered in dirt being beaten up by a woman.
A few years back, we meet a married couple, Evelyn and Larry
who are expecting their first child. As they ate driving, they see a crowd of
people gathered around a building. There is a woman who wants to commit suicide
by jumping from the building and Larry goes up to help her.
The woman is called Odessa and she tells Larry that she no
longer wants to live because the man she loves does not want to be with her any
more. Larry tries to convince her that her life is worth it and Odessa agrees
to come from the top of the building. Larry helps her down and the two of them
fall down. Odessa looks at Larry and asks him not to leave her.
Larry and Evelyn take Odessa to the hospital and Odessa’s
aunt is grateful to them for saving her. The aunt talked to Evelyn about Odessa’s
state of mind and advised that she go to a psychiatrist.
Larry goes to see Odessa at her room and when she wakes up,
she was surprised to see him standing before her. She remembers telling him not
to leave her and is glad to see that he is still watching over her.
A few days later, Odessa goes to see Larry and Evelyn as
they are preparing for dinner. She says she wants to thank them for helping her
during the previous incident. She brings a present with her and declines an invite
to dinner. Before she leaves, she kisses both of them goodbye and particularly
lingers on Larry.
Evelyn is not blind to Odessa’s infatuation with Larry so
she talks to her mother and sister about the incident and they advise her to
keep the woman away from her husband.
Odessa’s infatuation for Larry grows and at one time, she
asks him to change her flat tire. She confesses her love for him but Larry
tells her that he already has a wife that she knows about. He leaves and goes
home but Odessa follows him.
When Evelyn lets Larry into the house, she notices someone
watching the through the gate and realizes that it is Odessa. She and Larry go
out to see what she is doing there but Odessa runs away.
At another time, Odessa gate crushes Larry's party and he has to throw her out.
Odessa’s aunt finds stuff about Larry at the house and
confronts Odessa about it. She asks Odessa to keep away from Larry because he already
has a wife. She then goes to see Evelyn that to explain to her that Odessa has
a problem whereby she becomes obsessive with the men in her life.
Evelyn’s sister is worried about the situation with the
crazy Odessa so she decides to accompany her home but they find that their car
has a flat tire. Evelyn tries to call Larry to go pick her up but he does not
answer.
Since Odessa is the one who messed with Evelyn’s car, she
knows that Larry is home alone. She dresses up like Evelyn and wears a pillow
on her stomach to look pregnant. She goes to the house, wears Evelyn’s perfume
and lies on the bed. Larry leaves the bathroom and goes to join his wife on the
bed, only to find out that it is Odessa. He yanks her out of the bed and tells
her to go as Odessa tries to convince that she his wife Evelyn.
Larry grabs Odessa and is getting her down stairs when
Evelyn walks in. Larry tells Evelyn that they have to get Odessa out of their
house because she is crazy but in the midst of the chaos, Evelyn falls down
while Odessa escapes. She has to be rushed to the hospital and undergoes early
labor.
Since the child is born early, she has some complications so
Evelyn and Larry are worried that their child might not survive. We end as they
go to watch the baby at the nursery, praying that she will make it through…
