Episode 87
We started with Grandpa Apo calling Marcy to tell her that Emil got into an accident. Marcy was on her way home with Mackie after delivering their caramel custards. Grandpa Apo said that they were taking Sir Emil to the hospital and they agreed to meet there.
Arsing, Badong and Roger hailed tricycles and they all drove Sir Emil to the hospital.
Mackie tried to call Pinang to tell her that Emil had an accident but she did not answer her phone so he called Nars and Miggy. Nars and Miggy ran into doctor JM and told him about the incident and they all went to tell her what was happening.
Pinang had been taking care of a patient when he returned to the ER desk and found several missed calls from Mackie. Just as she put the phone down, Phil walked in pulling Sir Emil on a wheel chair and Pinang panicked. Doctor JM arrived and immediately attended to sir Emil. He ushered him to the room and Pinang went with him to assist. Grandpa Apo said that he would go in and Phil wanted to join him but Nurse Madel told him that only one family member was allowed at a time.
Pinang helped the doctor treat sir Emil and then stitched up his wound. The doctor then ordered a CT scan to see if Sir Emil had any brain damage and Emil asked if it would be painful. The doctor assured him that it would be fine.
Marcy arrived later with Mackie and she waited outside with the others for some news. Grandpa Apo left the room and told the rest that Emil was fine. Marcy went in to see him and take care of him and Emil said that they could go home. Marcy asked the doctor if he was okay and Doc JM said that he would check the final tests and if everything was fine, they could go home.
After Doctor Emil confirmed that everything was fine, he released Emil to go home. Emil was delighted by his service so he asked him to join the rest of the family for dinner the following evening and Doc JM was delighted to accept the invitation.
After Emil left the room, he and Marcy thanked Phil, Arsing, Badong and Roger for their help and invited them to dinner the following evening.
They all went home with Emil and Marcy put him to bed as soon as he arrived. Mackie did not go to work and instead stayed home so that he could help Phil and the guys finish picking up the rice seedlings that had yet to be attended to.
Julian and Margaret finished off their project and Margaret told Julian that his family seemed to really love him because they teased him a lot and that was how they showed it. She added that she wished someone could love her unconditionally even with her faults. Julian wrote on one of their materials "I love M" and stuck it on their structure before Margaret saw it.
Phil was on edge about having the doctor at Pinang's place and he talked to Terrence about it. Terrence told him to stop feeling territorial and the party would be a good chance to show the doctor that he was part of the family.
When Phil went to pick up Pinang, Nars and Miggy intruded on them and asked if they too were invited to the party. Pinang teased them but said that they were definitely invited.
Pinang went to check on Emil as soon as they arrived home while Phil sat restlessly asking Marcy what he could do to help. Marcy told him not to help with anything but Phil still moved around the house as if on edge. Marcy asked him what was wrong and Phil said that he still had a lot of energy left. Marcy told him that he had already done a lot for them by taking Emil to the hospital and sent him home to rest.
when Julian arrived, he was upset to hear the news that Emil had an accident and no one bothered to tell him. Marcy explained that she asked Mackie and Pinang not to tell him because they did not want to worry him.
That evening, Julian brouhgt Emil his food and they ate together as Emil thanked him for worrying about him.
Mackie and Pinang talked about how they wished that they could provide for their parents so that they would no longer have to work in the future.
Episode 86
Pinang was taking breakfast to Sir Emil but she ran into him at the door. Emil refused to stay bed ridden and had breakfast with his family. Julian got up to get him some water then completely ignored Pinang and Mackie as he left for school.
Margaret was looking for Julian so that they could submit their project and found him sulking outside. she asked him what was wrong and Julian told her about his father's accident and no one told him about it. Margaret said that they probably wanted him not to worry but Julian said that his family still treated him as a child. Margaret asked him to stop sulking and they went to hand in their project.
Before they handed the project over, Margaret noticed that one of the sticks was loose and checked it. It was the one that Julian wrote on and she was shoked to see the words "I Love M" on it. She looked over at Julian and smiled then put the stick back and then handed the lecturer the project.
Phil arrived at Pinang's carrying bags of fruits for Sir Emil, groceries for Nanny Marcy and flowers for Pinang. Sir Emil tried to sneak out of the house later to look at the rice fields but Phil stopped him because Pinang had asked that he rest. Emil scolded Phil but Marcy arrived and ordered Emil to go back to his room. She then asked Phil to sit so that they could talk.
Marcy asked Phil whether he had a fight with Pinang because of the gifts he brought and Phil said it was nothing like that. He finally admitted to Marcy that he was feeling territorial over the doctor visiting and Marcy told him not to worry because he was already part of their family and no one could replace him.
The doctor told Nurse Malou that he was going out for dinner because a patient invited him and asked what he could bring along with him. Nurse Malou was glad to hear that the doctor would be out socializing ad gave out her suggestions.
Phil went home to help Arsing, Badong and Roger with Diego's homework but they soon had to leave to get ready for the party. Arsing said that they needed to shower and change so that they would not embarass Sir Emil infront of the doctor.After they left, Phil took a shower as well and then went to Pinang's.
He found Emil and Grandpa Apo on the grill and asked to take over so that they could rest. Nars and Miggy had already arrived as well.
Doctor Joselito picked up James and they left for Pinang's house. They ran into Arsing, Badong and Roger who helped them find the way because doctor JM did not know where Pinang lived. They arrived just as Pinang went to greet Phil on the grill and Doctor joselito looked away when they hugged. Phil smiled and looked over to him.
Emil and Marcy welcomed doctor Joselito to their home and he introduced them to his brother James. Mackie and Julian were ready too and they all sat down for dinner. The doctor praised Nanny Marcy's cooking and asked Sir Emil if he had planted the rice that they were having. Sir Emil proudly said that it was true and they proceeded to talk about rice crops. Emil asked how the doctor knew about such things and he said that his father was a farmer and he delighted everyone.
After dinner, they all sat down as Sir Emil told the doctor all about the rice seedlings he had been planting. No one else had anything to contribute so they all sat and listened while Miggy tried to get the doctor's attention. Phil felt left out so he followed Pinang and Marcy outside and helped them clean up. Pinang left to give Emil his medicine and Marcy talked to Phil again regarding the doctor. Phil said that Doc JM seemed to get along with everyone and Marcy told him not to overreact because the doctor was a guest and they were all just trying to entertain him.
Sir Emil said he would give Doctor JM some seedlings so that his father could try them but JM told him that both his parents were deceased and he had taken the responsibility of taking care of his brother. Phil listened in and later watched the doctor distribute some medicine that he had brought so he surmised that Doc JM was a nice guy. He even told Pinang so and Pinang told him that he too was a nice person because he helped others as well.
The doctor left along with the rest of the guests but soon returned because he forgot his bag. He smiled at Pinang and thanked her for the invitation and Phil noticed the peculiar way that he looked at her.
That evening, Phil gave Pinang a curt goodnight and forgot to say that he loved her. He could not sleep so he called Terrence to tell him that the doctor liked Pinang and he was starting to feel unworthy of her love because the doctor seemed like a better person than he was. Terrence asked Phil not to stress over it because Pinang loved him.
The following day, Phil was in a sour mood but he told Pinang that he was only feeling tired. Contrary to this, Doctor JM was in a very good mood and could not smiling.
Mackie brought the food left over to work and invited all of his workmates to eat with him. Monica listened to him talk and then asked if he would still love Lotlot if he found someone who was better and was more compatible with. She leaned in to kiss him but Mackie turned away and Monica stormed off.
Phil talked to Arsing, Badong and Roger and asked them to teach him about rice planting and in return, he would teach them to use the computer.
Julian and his group won the class project and got the highest grade for it. They celebrated in class and Julian gave Margaret a particulary long hug that had their classmates staring.
Pinang was worried about Phil's behaviour so she asked Nars and Miggy help her surprise him for their monthsary. She called Julian too and asked him to go to a basket ball court along with his friends so that they could help her. Phil was about to go pick Pinang up but she called to ask that he pick her up later because she had a previous appointment with Nars and Miggy. That was where we ended...
