We started with Leah and Simon being introduced in the Dubai office.
Three weeks later, Clark told Leah that he had managed to get someone to loan him two million and although the interest was high, he could still pay it. He therefore told Leah that there was no need for her to stay in Dubai and that she could now go back home. Leah told Clark that it would not be as easy because she already had projects running and it would be unprofessional of her to leave Simon hanging. Clark commented that she could not stand to leave Simon hanging while she easily left him behind. Clark told Leah that she was too confident that he would always understand her. He added that he was tired of being second best and hoped that she would choose him for once.
Tolayts was already set to leave for Saudi Arabia for work and Tiffany told him that she would miss him since he would be gone for two years. When Tolayts was preparing to leave, Tolayts said that he hoped Tiffany would accept him when he got back. Tiffany said Yes but the moment completely escaped Tolayts who was checking his luggage. His neighbors alerted him that Tiffany had said yes and he threw a fit! Tiffany said that she agreed to be his girlfriend and Tolayts joked that he no longer wanted to leave.
Jigs sent flowers to Angela anonymously and when she asked him if he was the one who sent them, Jigs denied it. Angela said that it was too bad since he wanted to return a note to the person who sent the flowers so Jigs ended up admitting that the flowers were from him. Jigs confessed that he loved Angela and they started dating.
Clark was skyping with Leah and was telling her that Jigs already had a new girlfriend but Leah was not listening to him because she was at the office. Clark asked her what he had said but Leah could not tell him. Someone told Leah that Simon was looking for her and Leah told Clark that she had to go. Clark angrily turned off his computer.
Clark also go offered his American citizenship and when he told Leah about it, he hoped that she could go with her to receive it but Leah had to attend an award show with Simon so she did not go with Clark. Every time they talked, they ended up fighting so they kept less and less in touch.
Six months later, Mr. Sol got a heart donor so Leah took an emergency leave to be with her father at the surgery. Clark was surprised to see Leah at the hospital because she had not told him that she would be traveling to the Philippines. Leah told him that she intended on surprising him since they had not been able to talk.
Since Clark already cancelled the wedding, his family wanted to know when it would happen when Leah went to their house for dinner. Clark said that they would put things off until Leah was back in the country permanently.
Mr. Sol’s surgery went smoothly and Leah prepared to return to work. She went to the bank to see about the loan she had taken and she was told that the interest rate had been raised. Leah therefore decided to increase the amount that she would be paying back the loan.
Leah finally had a chance to talk to Clark about her job and she told him that her contract had been extended for two years with extra benefits so she wanted to take it. Clark told her that they could barely keep intouch as it was and it was only 6 months. Leah once again suggested that Clark go to Dubai with her and start his business there. She even said that he would be more successful there and Clark took it as an insult that he was not as successful as she was. They started to fight and it turned into an issue about Simon. Leah told Clark that nothing was going on with Simon but Clark said that Simon was in love with her. Leah said it did not matter because she did not have feelings for Simon but Clark said that she could be tempted.
Clark told Leah that if she decided to return to Dubai, then they were over. Leah asked Clark if he was giving her an ultimatum and Clark said that he was. He told Leah to choose him or her career (Simon) and Leah said that she was chosing her career. She thanked Clark for helping her chose and Clark told Leah that she criticized her mother so much for leaving when she too was doing the same thing. Leah slapped Clark and told him that it was better for them to break up before they hurt each other more than they already had. She also called Clark selfish for refusing to let her pursue her dreams while he was also working on pursuing her dreams.
Mr. Sol was not happy to hear that Clark and Leah had broken up because marriage was sacred for him but Leah told him that it was for the best because they had been fighting too much. C
Clark was devastated and almost destroyed his workshop and Leah could not stop crying on her way to the airport. That was where we ended…
