We started with Leah’s birthday party and Clark sang a song on the videoke machine. Simon joined him as well and they started singing in turns. They had a mini singing showdown as it turned into a competition between them.
Simon left early and as Leah walked him out, he gave her a peck on the cheek. Clark saw them and went to stew over it in the house. Leah found him and asked him what he was doing. Clark said that he was just cooling off after seeing Simon kiss her. Leah told him that it was no big deal since it was only a peck on the cheek. She told him that he did not react the same when Tolayts pecked her and Clark said that Tolayts’ case was different. Leah assured Clark that Simon had no other intensions and they should not the little issue ruin the party.
They went back to celebrate with everybody where Mr. Sol, Tiffany and Clark all said some lovely words about Leah. Rona also called Leah and wished her a happy birthday. Mr. Sol stepped aside by himself and seemed to have some trouble with his heart but no one noticed it.
Simon went out to drink with his driver after leaving Leah’s party and he sulked over the fact that Leah was already taken. After his driver took him home, Simon thought about Leah some more and decided to throw her a birthday party. He called his secretary and asked her to prepare a surprise party for Leah and not just a cake. He wanted her to get food, drinks and decorations too.
In the morning, Tiffany asked her father whether he was going to work but he said he would stay home. Tiffany asked him if he was fine so that they could see a doctor and Mr. Sol told her that he just wanted to take it easy.
Simon held a meeting with Leah and her team about the Ikon campaign and they decided to do an auction since they wanted to raise some money for something. Simon was left alone with Leah and congratulated her for the Ikon campaign idea since she had made it work even when she had been afraid of him. He told her that he had decided to take her advice and decided to be not too angry and intimidating and he had noticed that it created a better working environment. Simon laid a hand over the wall as if to block Leah but she walked below it and left.
After the meeting, Leah returned to her desk but was surprised to find that there was no one at the office. Betsy went to get Leah and told her that Simon wanted to talk to her urgently and he seemed angry. They went to another room where everyone yelled surprise and sang happy birthday for Leah. Leah thanked Betsy for the party but Betsy said that it was Simon who had arranged everything.
Clark was meeting with Angela to show her pictures of the new designs that he was making when he saw pictures of Leah’s party on Facegram. He got upset and opened up to Angela about Leah’s admiration for Simon. Angela told him that he was just being jealous since Leah had a hero that was not him. She added that he was reading into things too much and that Leah only admired Simon for his intelligence.
Leah found out later that the pictures had been uploaded on social media and rushed home. She told Tiffany that Clark might not be happy about the party since she noticed that Clark always got upset whenever she mentioned Simon. Tiffany told her that Clark was only being jealous and asked Leah if there was any reason for him to be. Leah said that there was none and decided to go see Clark.
When Leah got to the furniture shop, Angela was leaving and she told Leah that she had just dropped Clark off since he was drunk so Leah did not see him.
In the morning, Clark picked Leah up to take her to work but they seemed mad at each other because Clark had gone out to drink with Angela while Simon had thrown a party for Leah. Leah asked Clark to be her date for the auction that was going to be held that evening but he said he could not go because he was busy. He however said that he had invited Angela along with her friends since they had a lot of money.
Maggie called Jigs to check up on him and told him that she was already seeing someone. Jigs told her that she had accepted losing Leah and he was still trying to move on too.
At the auction, Simon told Leah that he had been offered a promotion by Art Mart in Dubai and if he accepted their offer, he wanted her to go with him because she was his best copy righter.
As the event proceeded, things did not go as planned and Simon was afraid that they would not be able to raise the money they needed. They did not have enough items left so Betsy proposed that Simon auction himself for a date so that they could raise more. Simon was not for the idea but he ended up being auctioned anyway.
Clark was busy at the furniture shop but felt guilty for not accompanying Leah to the auction. He tried to call her but her phone was not reachable so he decided to go to the auction after all.
Simon’s bidding was not as happy as everyone expected so Betsy raised Leah’s arm to help raise the bid and Clark walked in just when Leah’s hand was up. He asked her whether she wanted to go on a date with Simon and Leah tried to explain that Betsy had raised her hand to raise Simon’s bid. We ended with Clark saying that he too wanted to be bided and he walked up to the podium next to Simon.
